Terra GR was absolutely wonderful! I chose it for my birthday dinner with friends, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make the evening feel special and celebratory. I had to adjust my reservation a couple of times (with enough notice ofc!), and each change was handled graciously and without any hassle, which I really appreciated. I started with the focaccia, which was delicious, and for my main dish I ordered the squid ink bucatini with chicken. It was truly outstanding and easily the highlight of the night. I also ordered an espresso martini, which was your average espresso martini but paired well with my order. Overall, everything from the service to the food was fantastic. Terra GR made my birthday feel memorable, and I will absolutely be back another round of that incredible squid ink bucatini. Oh and they let me pick off of their dessert menu for a bday treat so I got the tiramisu and it was delish!!

Corn risotto. Taste exactly like cream corn

I can see why people give Terra five star but since I ordered the wrong items. It is a 3 stars for me. 1.corn risotto taste exactly like cream corn from a can, with lime juice. $26. Chef did a good job making the risotto but the flavor was a shocker. I prefer regular risotto. 2. Lamb meatball, is just lamb kafta shape in meatball shape. I thought it would be Italian meatball since most items in the menu is Italian. If u come here, just get pizza and pasta. That's what everyone getting and they look good. Don't try to explore outside of that.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in the Grand Rapids area! I love that they make their bread and pasta in house and gather as many items as they can from local farms in the area! Their menu is very nice and has something for everyone on it! Great appetizer options, salads, pastas, pizzas, and desserts! It's an easy recommendation from me because I find that this place hasn't missed yet:) Their brunch is also fantastic! Love that brunch pizza and the coffee cake! The staff is incredible! Always kind and on top of it And they just did some updating on their interior and it looks great! Check this place out if you're ever in the area!

Some of the best pizza I've had in Grand Rapids! The service and ambiance were great. Such a cute restaurant with very attentive staff! Will definitely be back soon!!

Ordered takeout from Terra GR tonight, and it did not disappoint! The Torecchiette dish was still warm and perfectly cooked when I got it home. It had a rich sauce with just a little bit of spicy kick to it. I loved it. The Kale Caesar salad was fresh and crisp. I will definitely be ordering that again. Everything was packed neatly! The portion sizes were large. I will be glad to have some leftovers tomorrow. It's hard to find takeout that tastes just as good as dining in, but they nailed it. Will definitely be ordering again soon!

One of the best dining experiences ever! Everyone in our party ordered the beat margarita which also comes non-alcoholic. It was delicious and not too sweet. The pizza was amazing with an incredible crust. I also had the kale Caesar salad that was really yummy. And a chocolate torte with sesame, sesame, ice cream!

Mushroom pizza and hot honey pizza

Great food, cool atmosphere, wonderful staff and service! Definitely would recommend to check it out.

Birthday dessert

Definitely a great night celebrating our daughter birthday!! Delicious food and awesome atmosphere!

My husband and I had a great first experience at Terra! It was easy to make a reservation online with plenty of availability. My husband got the Caesar salad which he throughly enjoyed and i got the potato pizza which was amazing! The wait staff and hostesses were kind and friendly and the overall ambiance of the restaurant was chill. I would recommend this place to anyone in Grand Rapids looking for some great food!

If you come to Terra, get the pizza! Service was attentive, the space was clean as always and the food came out in good time. Parking is always a stressor, being in east town but if you plan that helps. Drinks were reasonably priced too. Overall a solid 4/5 spot to grab a bite with friends.

You don't come along fine gems like this very often so you are doing it wrong if you don't come here when you're in GR. Fantastic brunch menu and I've been told that the dinner is just as amazing! I had the Margherita pizza and can say with confidence that it was one of the top three Woodfire pizzas I've ever had. The sauce is robust and really sets it apart. Everything is made in house, even the fresh mozzarella on my pizza. The decor is modern yet simplistic is the vibe and you have an open kitchen view of the chefs working their magic! Absolutely phenomenal service and experience from start to finish.

Margherita Pizza Burger

The food was good and the environment was great for a "fancier" dinner. I didn't feel that the food was quite worth the price. There was no option to upgrade the burger chips to fries and while the pizza was good it was what I would typically expect of a marg pizza.

Indoor seating

What an absolute hit. From the seating to the atmosphere to the service and the food. Fortunate to come here with a few friends and we were celebrating so tried a bunch of menu options and saved some for leftovers. Everything we tried was honestly excellent. As expected, anything with bread in the meal was incredible. We have had Terra bagels before so that makes sense. The only thing I wouldn't order again was the dessert. Cake was a bit dry when we were hoping for a more sticky toffee pudding vibe. Or would go for the chocolate torte. Very reasonably priced and was basically a full house when we walked in for a Tuesday dinner time. Had no wait time though and service was quick. Special mention for the pâté. So so good.

We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table to be ready. The drinks were okay for the price but not particularly memorable. The standout was the NY strip steak, which was easily the best part of the meal and really well done. We also ordered the beer battered fries to start and they were fine, nothing bad but nothing special about them either. My only real complaint is the limited menu availability. Two of the six entrées were already sold out by the time we got there, even though my partner made the reservation weeks in advance. I understand the realities of a farm to table model and respect the commitment to sourcing and seasonality, but on a fixed, high-demand holiday, the limited options were noticeable and slightly disappointing . Overall it was still a good experience, just one that could have been better with a bit more menu flexibility. Hoping to be back on a less busy day in the summer since I really want to love this restaurant!

I adore crab so ordering that was a no brainer. Their coffee is strong. It took a ton of cream to change the color... though it was delicious with free refills for $5. The omelette was heaven. All the flavors melded well and I appreciated the crisp acidic salad to cut the richness of the omelette. My only critique is wishing the crab salad topping was a bit more decadent. For $21 I was hoping for big lumps of crab rather than cool shredded mayo based salad. All in all, I love this place, I love the concept. It was quite busy and was thankful to snag a seat at the bar. We typically like sitting at the bar as well and chat with the bartender who was absolutely lovely! The dirty martini was okay but I will definitely order something else next time as the olives just didn't hit for me. It's a quaint and quiet spot - you can read that as intimate - since it's not loud or rowdy, so if you want a really sweet date spot, feel free to check this one out! Otherwise, you can just go and have a casual, delicious dinner. I'd just recommend a reservation if you are going on a weekend or don't want to wait/sit at the bar!

Our server was genuinely kind and attentive, and the cocktails were enjoyable. The presentation of the food was also nice. To drink, I got the pornstar martini which came with a side car prosecco and he had the espresso martini. My partner had noted in the reservation that it was my birthday and it wasn't acknowledged during our visit which disappointed him but we understand that these things can sometimes be missed. The food, unfortunately, was mixed and didn't quite meet expectations for the price point. We started with the breaded mozzarella, which looked beautiful and had a nice cheese pull, but the flavor was very mild and needed salt which was an easy enough fix but still a bit disappointing. My partner enjoyed his chicken piccata. I ordered the steak frites, and while I don't mind a little pink, the steak was very uneven in thickness, which led to inconsistent cooking. One portion was noticeably very rare while another was cooked to the well-done level I requested. The steak was also quite tough, which made the dish difficult to enjoy overall. While I truly appreciated the service and drinks, the food quality was inconsistent, and after giving it a sincere second chance, I don't feel inclined to return.
