I called three different Tree cutting services and Terry was the first to return my call. I have yet to hear from the other two. Terry came out and gave me a clear and firm estimate of the cost for trimming five trees. He said his crew was finishing up a job and could-be here promptly. I gave hime the go ahead and his crew and foreman arrived shortly after. He made sure I was in agreement with the work they would do as we went from tree to tree with has foreman present. They set to work and all worked cohesively and got all the trimming done. They cleaned up all the mess and chipped all the cut branches. An excellent job and an experienced crew. Don't waste your time. The man disappears when he thinks he's done and you're lucky if he gets back to you within a week after reaching out multiple times. On top of that, he doesn't stand by his work. He planted numerous plants for us as part of our $50K job with him, told me they'd all be fine through the winter (it was early October) and said I was SOL when I contacted him about several that didn't survive, including an expensive Japanese Maple tree. We should have known better, his bid was 40% less than all the others. I guess you really do get what you pay for. read more

We had a very large oak tree removed from our front yard. Terry's crew was extremely careful to not damage any landscape plants underneath. They cut up the wood to stove size for us. The job was completed timely and we would definitely use them again. His crew was very polite, professional and a pleasure to work with. I have used Terry twice now for tree removal and once for general property clean up. Service was exceptional each time in promptness of response, thoroughness of work and professional manner with which the jobs were handled. We had one tree, a massive ponderosa, which was accessible with the bucket (Terry's Landscaping has any and all trucks, chipper, bucket needed) and was taken down within half a day. The other tree was located between two houses, had large branches hanging over a neighbor's roof, and was not accessible to use the bucket. The neighbor was justifiably anxious about her new roof, so we notified Terry of this. He arranged for his tree climber to come out, and the process was simply amazing to watch. It was obvious that this team was well trained in how to plan the safest and most efficient way to take a looming tree down. I should mention the tree was at least four times the height of the houses, so it was no small seedling! The climber knew exactly which branches to cut first, where to hang the rope so the cut branch would swing away from the houses; and all this was done in a very systematic manner. It reminded me of a game of Jenga...that Terry's team won handily! Since the tree needed to be taken down literally piece by piece, it took an entire day to complete the job. The debris was stacked neatly until the next day when Terry had a chipper on site to discard and haul everything away. We were very happy, and more importantly, our neighbor was very satisfied with the result and professionalism of Terry's team. Now to pricing...on all three jobs, Terry came significantly under several other estimates. I will use Terry's Landscaping on all future projects without hesitation. read more
