Both of the Veronica's Breanna were so nice to my daughter. They even offered her a snack because they overheard her telling me she was hungry. As for my car, they were able to help me avoid some unnecessary expenses for a rental as well as the repairs themselves by getting me in and out in just under an hour...THANK YOU LADIES!!! Do not take your car here if you expect accountability or basic care. I brought in my brand new (2-month-old) car after a rear-end accident. A week after getting it back, I noticed deep imprints on the backseat headrests -- a part of the car I never use. It was clear something heavy had been left on the seat while it was folded down during the repair process. I immediately returned with timestamped photos from a month earlier showing the damage was not there. At first, they admitted the seat was probably folded. But when they realized the marks couldn't be wiped off, their attitude flipped. Suddenly, they refused responsibility unless I had interior photos from the exact drop-off and pick-up days -- an absurd and unrealistic expectation. One employee even said they wouldn't "waste Elon's money," which I assume is their way of saying Tesla won't pay to fix mistakes they caused. Bottom line: They damaged my car and refused to make it right. Take your car somewhere that values integrity and respects its customers. read more

Zane was my awesome service advisor for the rear end collision repair on my 2023 Model 3! He did an excellent job addressing all of my concerns, and even went above and beyond with how the vehicle was returned to me. He was able to work with my busy schedule and allowed me to pick up the car after hours which was a tremendous help! And shout out to the rest of the Tesla Oceanside team with doing a phenomenal job on the repairs, as well as taking care of all of my needs. It was definitely the best decision of going to Tesla directly since they were able to repair the car to OEM standards and actually finished repairs in less than a week! Tesla collision only uses OEM parts, and some insurance companies (other than Tesla Collision) may not approve the cost of OEM parts, hence why some reviews mention that the cost was 2x. Tesla collision was very clear with me on the repair process as well as the parts being used and cost. My Insurance carrier is Tesla Insurance, so everything was done quick and with great quality. Update (1/11/26): Visited again in January for a warranty related concern (unrelated to my previous visit), and was fixed in less than 4 days! I specifically chose to return to this collision center specifically (even though it was the furthest from my home) because of the excellent customer service and care that Zane and his team provided. Zane went to great lengths to make sure that all concerns were taken care of, and as a courtesy other defects that weren't even in the repair line of work. I definitely recommend Zane to any Tesla owner in San Diego! Took care of me and my Tesla as if it was his family's. Tesla needs more people like Zane!! read more

Went yesterday to get my windshield replaced on my Model Y, and the overall experience was exceptional. I was greeted right when I walked in for my appointment and taken care of right away. Brianna G, who worked the front desk and handled my appointment, did everything imaginable to make my experience smooth and comfortable. She offered me a loaner vehicle when she didn't need to and allowed me to get some things done because of it, instead of waiting around for 2.5 hours while the work was being done. Very thankful for her. Allen C, who handled the actual repair of my vehicle, was also amazing to deal with. Super nice and professional. He handled my repair fast and communicated everything to me clearly and assured i was taken care of. Considering I grew up with a mother who worked in the automotive industry and as a service manager, I know how things should be run and managed, and this location with Brianna and Allen exceeded my expectations. Recently had my 2014 S85 in for some front end damage repair. The staff was super friendly and polite, but the actual repair was an exercise in disappointment. Though I was originally told my repair would take approx two weeks, I just got it back after nearly 5 months. Don't trust them with your car. I booked a PPF for my BRAND NEW model Y last year and they CRASHED the back of my car and had to replace the entire liftgate/back door. The PPF job was shoddy and dust accumulated inside it upon picking it up. They kept my car for about a month and kept delaying pick up. When we complained the PPF staff member said "these things happen". Now my car is in the body shop AGAIN (at another Tesla location) because when it rains water accumulates INSIDE the back door and spills out like a waterfall from the sides when you open it. After this horrible experience I inquired about trading my "brand new car" with Tesla and upgrading to a new model Y only to find out that there's an accident reported on the car's record, so the accident that happened by the STAFF at Tesla collision centre DEVALUED my car! Zero stars if possible. My Tesla has been stuck at the Oceanside Tesla Collision Center since September after a low-speed accident. I chose this shop because it carries the Tesla name -- huge mistake. USAA estimated the repair at ~$9k. Tesla immediately doubled that number and then dragged the process out for months. They didn't start repairs until November, and their communication has been chaotic and misleading. I received messages saying the repair was "going great," then a text saying the car was ready for pickup -- only to be told afterward that it wasn't. Today, months later, I was suddenly told my car is a total loss because of a headlight that was originally quoted at $1,200 but suddenly doubled once they checked the VIN, supposedly due to Ludicrous Mode pricing. This shop feels disorganized at best and predatory at worst. USAA has always been exceptional; the problems are all on Tesla's end. Avoid at all costs. Terrible communication, ridiculous delays, and questionable insurance handling. read more

Elizabeth, Brianna, and Ariana were incredibly kind, professional, and understanding. I kindly called every other day to get an updated status and they were so patient and wonderful to me that i actually looked forward to speaking with them! Took my car in to repair a tiny dent on my rear passenger side door. Technician flat out lied to me and told me the car would be ready in one week. It has now been two weeks and counting and my car still is not done. Every time someone "communicates" with me, they never give me an estimated time of completion and I keep having to ask repeatedly when my car will be complete, as I did once again today. Still no answer... I knew I was in trouble when four days AFTER I dropped my car at the facility and signed a repair authorization, I was being asked to review a second estimate and to offer additional repair authorization, which I had already provided. Adding to my frustration was the fact three different people asked me how I intended to pay for the repairs and I was also asked to provide my intentions to pay in writing - which I found to be both bizarre and terribly offensive. I am not sure why I highly educated, highly accomplished, highly articulate, highly affluent black man is being badgered for his method of payment in the year 2024, but that's a question for management to answer. So here I sit two weeks later, with no update on when my vehicle will be completed. This has been a highly disappointing experience, to say the least, and it goes without saying that I will never bring my car here for repairs again. This business is so poorly run. If you have a choice, I recommend going elsewhere. So many things have gone wrong and I have only brought my car in for an estimate. You have to book through app. Then you get some standard message but no helpful, relevant instructions. Walked into the main office and first impression was poor, lots of people but no clear direction where to start. The office looks like it had just been opened on the fly. Workers huddled around computers at temporary workstations, sharing phones, not sure who to go to for help. I followed up 4 business days later (after met with estimator) only to find out my estimator was fired and no one was assigned to his open jobs. They were able to find his estimate but no pictures for the insurance company (I spent an entire afternoon driving to this location, waiting for estimator and then driving 45 minutes back home, then had to call 3 times to get someone to tell me the person I worked with had been fired) Ironically, I got an email from Tesla this weeekend saying I missed my appointment for service. I couldn't even get my estimate, how could I have an appointment for service?!? read more

The Tesla Collision Center in Oceanside is difficult to work with if you're trying to get a repair due to an accident. Mercury Insurance required one of their representatives to see the car at the Tesla shop and speak with a Tesla representative to understand the cost estimate. This Tesla collision center refused to meet with Mercury onsite and required an authorization of service when dropping off the car. Unfortunately, since they were not able to accommodate the insurance company's request, we couldn't move forward with the service. It is disappointing to me that Tesla would conduct business this way - they are more concerned with their rigid process vs helping their customer get a quality repair. read more
