My Spare Almost Fell Off On The Freeway! I've always had…read moregreat experiences with America's Tire, but that changed recently. I went in and purchased four new tires for my SUV, and upon leaving I found that my tire sensors weren't operating correctly. They said that would clear itself out, probably within the next hour or so. It hasn't and now been a couple weeks. In that time I've also started to hear a rattling in the back of my truck like my spare tire is loose. Never have had that happen in 35 plus years on the road. Upon Investigation, I found they had rotated the tire, but never tightened the lug nuts on the spare tire. One of the lug nuts had already worked its way off, and was gone, and the other two were hanging on by a couple of threads. This is really inexcusable on their part. This is a simple checklist process thing. Guess I need to check the wheels on all four corners too. You sell tires. If one thing must be drilled into these people it's the criticality of tightening form the lug nuts!!! Being fast is great for sales, but it also has liabilities. Please double check the work on your own vehicles whenever worked on.

The job was figuring out about 12 three-way switches throughout my house. I had tried to tackle it, knowing a fair amount about electrical, I also tried to tackle it with a general contractor on the phone as I attempted to correct the situation again about three weeks later. After failing both times to figure it out I was pretty sure no one was gonna be able to figure it out.
