This location of AutoZone is located in Rose Pavilion. My bf came here buy some cleaner and a bunch of other items to help me clean and fix my car. After he paid, the employee bagged all of his items, so he thought - he did not notice not everything was in the bag until we were about to clean and fix my car when he got home. It was not even worth going all the way back just for 1 item, even though that was the main thing we needed. We ended up having to put everything away and clean / fix my car another day when he has a chance to go and buy another cleaner from somewhere else. Was traveling from out of town and experienced a dying battery - arrived to the store 30 mins before closing. Victor went into turbo mode once learning we were out of town and offered to come outside to remove the dead battery and place the new one. For the past 2 years, The AutoZone off of Santa Rita road has been the shitty when it comes to Es to customer service and Online orders. Every time I purchase an item online for store pick up its usually early morning, by 3:30 4pm I still never receive an e-mail that " Your Order Is Ready for Pickup. When I arrive the employees always smell like weed and when high they dont know what the hell they are doing. Today once again my order was not picked or ready, I ordered it early so that It would be there when I arrive, so that it isnt out of stock before I arrive. Stood around on her phone, I asked for help multiple times and would point into a direction leading me to what I wasn't looking for. Do not go here if you expect competent service. Came here to buy coolant, wasn't sure how much i needed so bought one extra, didn't end up using it. I try returning it but forgot my receipt at home so I called ahead asking if it was possible to get a refund just using my phone number to find the transaction and they said yes. I get there and the guy with painted nails not only moved at the speed of molasses, but told me they could not refund it but instead gave me a store credit card which I did not want because I've had bad experiences here in the first place and didn't want to come back. Black guy with the painted nails said I could come back with the receipt and trade the store credit for a refund which is what I tried today, in which two ladies told me was not possible and showed further incompetence. Went in real quick for their oil and filter deal. *MAKE SURE* You open the cap before you leave the store. I got home, which was 45 mins away (this autozone was near my work) drained the oil and changed the filter. Lowered the car, opened the cap, and lo and behold it was 4 quarts of used oil. I come here all the time for random auto parts stuff. I still find it amazing that "small" businesses like this are still around with Walmart, Costco, and the internet swallowing them up. I say small only because it is physically small, know that Autozone is a large chain. They are pretty well stocked with all the gadgets and things you need for you car or garage. I was even surprised they had nuts and bolts. Nice to see as sometimes I can get lost in the beheamoth that is Home Depot. Service here is generally pretty good, and prices, although i scosche higher than the other bigger stores, are still pretty reasonable. They good thing at this location is there's tons of parking, and until recently when TJ's moved close, it was kind of a ghost town. read more

My husband was stranded in the damn PARKING LOT because of the absolute incompetence of the people that work here and this store. They told my husband that they can't replace his battery so he was stranded and couldnt leave. They didn't provide any other solution. Tell me why he saw all the employees leave and there's a line of people waiting to be checked out. FORTUNATELY, there was an employee that was NOT CLOCKED IN that happened to be buying something at the time. He ended up helping my husband and everyone else inside. So what I'm hearing is that this employee, on their DAY OFF, not even wearing his uniform, was willing to help customers especially my husband who was stranded in the parking lot thanks to the other employees (who walked out on the job). Eugene who I believe is the store manager is the absolute worst at least from my experience. Years ago I had a great experience with him, I always remember good or bad service. But lately he hasn't been the nicest, professional I thought he was. More like a sarcastic, condescending, sob that shouldn't even be working with customers. He just looks like he doesn't want to be where he's at. As a manager YOU are the face of your company, you are the front line. We as customers expect normal service when we give our money to your company that pays YOU! So get your act together, and when customers walk in and ask questions, do your job because next time we can have a discussion in detail with your higher ups, or it can just be me and you even better. My car battery died a couple days ago and unfortunately the handheld jumpstart only started my car for that time being. When I tried starting my car again yesterday, it did not start and so remembering what Autozone said about checking my battery health and charging it for me, I took my battery out and drove there on Easter. These guys were open with limited hours and Pedro went above and beyond to help me with my issue! He mentioned that although my existing battery is 21 (dealership battery), a 26 or 35 would work and coincidentally at the time, they had 35 that was used from a consignment car (pretty much new), so I got an amazing price from the retail price of $239. My old battery wasn't holding any charge anymore, so Pedro lent me their handheld jumpstarter for me to drive my car in. Once I came back with my car and old battery put back in, Pedro brought his tools and the new battery to install complimentary. I was so exhausted from the day, Pedro was such a lifesaver. The battery of my car just died, so I stopped by to inquire about my options. New ones are not cheap these days (assuming a quality one), so they recommenced to leave it over night with them to give it a charge and check if it takes it. It did not, so I got a new one for which they had several options. The Platinum option comes with a 3 year warranty. I was hoping for a bit more - but fair enough. The staff has always been very friendly and forthcoming to me, IMO only the prices could be a bit more competitive when compared with other close-by auto stores. read more
