I have been a customer here for years. Lately the wash experience has been slipping- mostly the car…read moreis not even mostly dry after coming through the wash. But, they are in my neighborhood and the price is reasonable and they always have strong vacuums. Tonight, however, when I came out of the car wash I noticed multiple scratches on my windshield that had definitely NOT been there before. The scratches were equidistant apart. When I brought it to the employees attention he said the brushes are so soft he can put his arm under them and he won't get hurt. He said they have never gotten any complaints and my scratches must have come from someplace else. I understand that they have to say that and they don't want to be liable for damage. However they KNOW me and know I am not a trouble maker and know I don't just come looking for a payday. I am going to have to pay someone to buff out the scratches and they have lost a very long term and loyal customer.

No one approached me as I drove in. Once I got out, Jr. appeared. He showed me two car wash options. I chose the more moderate one, $38. He charged me right there but I didn't leave tip beforehand though the machine prompts you to leave a tip. They clean the exterior and the interior of your car. I waited inside where you can purchase desserts and beverages, including a $7 cappuccino. Once my car was ready I drove off. I arrived at the grocery store, and for the life of me, I couldn't find the key. Usually they put it over the sun visor. The only thing that fell off was the receipt. I searched all over. An employee in the parking lot suggested that I check under the seat. Nothing! It was hot. I called the car wash multiple times and they didn't answer. I wanted to know where in the world do they place the car keys? I didn't want to return to the business. But I had no choice. The key was behind the windshield wiper, in the exterior of the car. I told the the attendant that gas is expensive. I will never leave a car wash again without knowing where my key is. I'm glad the key didn't fly off while I was driving.

When I got there I told the young man in the red shirt with glasses the service I wanted and gave explicit instruction, "don't remove the aftermarket floor mats," which he understood and wrote on the window for the workers down the line to see. When it was time for the inside cleaning, what is the first thing they do... REMOVED the mats! I rushed down there to tell them to stop before they did more damage. Sure, I was upset, specially after I saw how they ruined the adhesive, and said "I told you all not to remove the f-ing mats." The supervisor guy in red shirt and glasses was more worried about my language than the issue they caused. I apologized for my language (I should've been more tempered) and reiterate why I told them not to remove the mats because they needed to be removed in a specific process to avoid damage. He didn't care, didn't apologize, not offered any way to rectify their error. Now I have to buy new adhesive and reinstall... I understand people make mistakes, but his lack in customer service was totally unprofessional. The Car Wash people were nice but there was no attention to detail. Paid for a mini detail. My console cover was not cleaned, console still had sawdust on it, floor mats not properly cleaned. In short, there was little attention to detail. I could have driven my truck through a carwash tunnel and dried it myself for the same result and a third of the cost. I expect to get what I pay for. This place is the equivalent of how you feel when you go to the spa to get your nails done, but it's your car. They were incredibly thorough and still finished in a timely manner. About 45 minutes from when I got in line (decently busy) until the car was done and clean! You're able to sit inside in the nice A/C and do computer work with their free WiFi. Or sit outside and watch sports on the TV. (Or u can go across the street for a delicious burger) I have a dog that travels with me everywhere. So yes, my car smells like dog! I stopped by Golden Shine Hand Carwash around 3:10 PM on a Thursday afternoon. It's a family-owned…read morehand wash spot tucked off the frontage road between Main Street and 610. As soon as I pulled in, they started vacuuming my car--which was impressive--but I was surprised there was no visible price list or menu of services anywhere. I walked inside their building hoping for more clarity, but no one was there. Eventually, a friendly woman outside let me know I could pay after the wash, though she still didn't mention the price. I waited in their shaded seating area while they completed the full process: vacuuming, spraying the exterior down in another section of the lot, and finally doing a detailed hand wipe inside and out. The whole process took about 30 minutes, and that was with no one ahead of me--so expect it to take longer if there's a line. When they were done, I was asked to pay $45. I paid by card and added a $5 tip, totaling $50. That's definitely more than the $10-$20 washes I'm used to, and I do wish the pricing was clearer up front. That said, the car came out very clean inside and out, and I'd come back again when I need a more thorough detail.
