When I called a few months later to complete the install, we picked up right where we left off. They were courteous, patient, super knowledgeable, reputable, timely and everything else you want in a business. I opted for the water filtration and softener system. My previous unit died and I needed to protect my new appliances. After the install, the team followed up twice to make sure that I was satisfied. The owner chose C. The owner also chose to call me a "Karen" and a Bozo because a customer expected him to resolve issues from his services and posted a low star rating of his company. His lack of customer service, professionalism, and installation are sufficient for a NO-star rating. This company is as big a joke as its name! The best advice this Neanderthal gave me was to place the system he installed in bypass for a month. We had to pay a real professional water company $500 to correct the poor installation done by Little Profit Water Softeners.

Cheaper is not always better. I found The Water Doctor through online reviews such as this and I'm very glad I did. Hugo, Patricia and their assistant are wonderful, honest people. Our installation was on time as promised and the area was left clean of any debris. Both our water softener and RO unit perform very well; the RO unit eliminated the need for purchasing bottled water and they will schedule you for annual maintenance if you choose. Not happy, or I wouldn't be writing this review…read more I have had great service from them for almost 10 years but our tank had a leak and I called to schedule filter change and check on system. I was taken advantage of, as I was told the total would be $277. I have always paid $165. Made to believe I was having to pay for a repair, I agreed. Once receiving the bill, I quickly noticed that I paid for the upgraded service of changing the filters because they added sanitizer, which I've always declined in the past due to money circumstances. I called and all they did was try saying they make sure they go thru the options before booking and apologized instead of try to remedy the situation. I promise you, I was there on the phone the whole time and never given an option of a lower cost service that excluded the sanitizer like I have always received before. Not good business. She tried saying because it has been 1 year and 6 months since our last service she would recommend, but I was told, not recommended. Make sure you know your options before you agree to anything. My $100 lesson.

Moved into our house 6 years ago with a very nice Pentair/GE water softener…read more Couple months ago, had a plumber from Goettl (also terrible) come out to check a leak and lied to me about a lot of things but did recommend I get my carbon tank changed...fair enough. Found San Antonio Water Solutions because they are an authorized dealer of the system we have and they came out to change the tank. However, after that, the softener started leaking with every charge. So I called them back and they sent out a tech to look at it. Told me there was a crack in the system and that the whole swoftener needed replacement. Ugh. And also charged me another service call fee...thanks. 1- When they came out to replace the tank, he did not have the correct parts. So the system sat in my garage for like 3 weeks before they figured the parts out and came back 2 - They arrived to change the tank and told me I needed to change my Pressure regulator valve...which i had already done the week before! So my father in law adjusted it and apparently that made it better. So after they installed the new one, guess what? LEAKED AGAIN. 3 - So they sent out their "service manager" to look at it and told me there was likely a clog in the drainage system, leading to pressure buildup and I needed to call a plumber. (Which he should have known wasn't the problem since the rest of the house was draining just fine.) 4 - Called plumber, he cut the pipe and scoped it, to find out there was no clog but the drain pipe was installed weird and there was a little standing water in it but that was due to the way it was installed and not a clog. Conclusion: Upon further inspection by us, the homeowners, it appears that the only problem was a crack in the drainage tube. We have since changed it and no leaks. I attribute it getting cracked to when they initially changed the carbon tank. I'm now into this a couple thousand dollars when I should only be into it a couple hundred. Take-home points: This company is a clown show. They are absolutely awful at diagnosing issues. Their "service manager" needs to look himself in the mirror and question whether he needs to hire someone who can actually manage service. When the homeowner is the one actually solving the issues, then that should tell you something about the kind of job a company does. Won't call them ever again. Happy to have them out of my life

They were willing to negotiate and offered us a military discount which sealed the deal for us. However, the only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is because from the date of sale, we waited about 6 weeks before they could actually schedule the install. We were told they could install the softener internally to avoid HOA politics but on the day of service, we were told this was not possible, although they did make an attempt. We ended up having to buy a shed which pretty much came at the cost of their discount and going through our HOA anyway. They came back the next day to finish the job. Overall, we were very happy with the service they provided despite that hiccup. Would recommend them for their service and professionalism.
