I got my friend an e-gift card for her birthday. She used it on Thanksgiving, only for there to be a 0 balance. I went to the store to talk to the manager, they said that I need to talk to corporate. I told her that I sent an email but there was no response. The manager said she'd call corporate, too and that she'd get back to me soon. I never heard back from her. A week later they sent an email and said they'd do an investigation to find out where the money is. It's been three weeks. I never heard back from the manager or corporate. This was my first time to Texas de Brazil and we told this to the host and they really took care of us. They took their time to explain how it works, they kept checking in with us if we were doing fine, and the experience was simply great. Also, very gay friendly! We were outside our usual radius and went for brunch for first time at this location. The dining room was sparsely populated except for a few families with ill-behaved children. I wouldn't hold that against the restaurant. I wish the waitress had informed us more about the brunch menu and the process. She took our drink orders and told us to hit the salad bar. They had the scrambled eggs and bacon, that must have been the brunch part. The usual rice and beans. The salad bar seemed abbreviated. After the perfect caipirinha arrived, we started the meat parade. I always skip the chicken to save room for the beef and lamb. Sadly no lamb chops or fillet at brunch. They had picanha, garlic sirloin, flank steak and leg of lamb. They were really pushing the flank steak as it was in heavy rotation. All the meat was salty, but lamb was incredibly salty and I mentioned it to the gaucho. The next round of lamb was not as salty. Overall, it was OK and we tried to make the most of it. The next time I'm feeling like a meat marathon, I will probably stay in the neighborhood and go to Boi Na Braza instead. read more

We went here with a larger group this past Sunday and man was it yuuuuuuuumy! The salad bar is seriously rediculous with all kinds of things to munch on. Not just salad, but mushrooms, potatoes, asparagus, shrimp, all kinds of cheeses, tomatoes, a wide selection of olives, smoked salmon with capers, and so much more! But, I wouldn't suggest filling up on that because you are going to want to shove as much into your mouth as you can when they start bringing all the different types of meat around. Filet, top sirloin, flank steak, ribs, chicken, sausage, and on and on and on. I really liked that most of the meats were seasoned just right. You really get a natural tasing peice of meat each time. As far as churrascaria in dallas i would say this place is a good one to go to. I do however prefer fogo de chao over texas de brazil because of the bread. But the salad bar here is fantastic. Even though this place is a meat eaters heaven, its extremely vegetarian friendly. You can leave the place with you belly sticking out just from eating the food from the salad bar. read more

Tried their weekend lunch and it was amazingly delicious. Loved the lobster bisque especially with the Brazilian rolls. All the meats were good but my favorite was the sausage. The service was excellent. There was no time to breathe in between all the different meat skewers that the servers brought over to the table. Your plate was never empty. Had dinner here on 11/07/12. I love these brazilian restaurants. It had a very good selection at the salad buffet. I love when they have the different types of brazilian foods out there. They advertise 40 different types of meat they bring around, however it seems like it was the same 4 or 5 kinds that kept coming around. Disappointed they did not have the grilled pineapple as well. First time at a Brazilian Grill in Texas and we were not disappointed. When we walked in to the hostess area we did get interrogated with a not so cheery hostess. But once she took us to our table to explain the procedure she as quite sweet. The server was very attentive. And just when we thought we tried everything the lamb chops/rack of lamb came. The house special of beef was something that could have satisfied me all on its on. We did share a margarita which was one of the best I've had. The chocolate mousse cake tasted like a tuxedo cake and wouldn't be something to write home about. The con I do have was the background noise of base that was quite unsettling, especially when eating. My third visit this year...always love this place! This time I took 4 co-workers. We had a great time and actually seren't too stuffed afterward to walk to our van! Service was excellent, as usual. We were there for lunch. Not very busy, so we had the attention of the meat servers entirely! Loved that! Water glass was keep refilled, used plates carried away quickly, and we felt very well taken care of. Surprise, to me, was the creme of asparagus soup! Delightful. Another surprise was the very tastey black beans on rice! I had decided ahead of time to slow down this visit and try a few extra things from the salad bar. Several cheeses were terrific. Of course, what we came for was the meat...and we did enjoy! Some complain about it being salty, but two buddies was asking for the salt shaker... I thought everything was perfect, as usual. The flank steak and picayne (sp) were again the favs of our table. This is my husband's and my favorite restaurant! It's a little pricey so we only come on special occasions. We have tried other Brazilian steak houses and this one is superb! The meat is seasoned very well, and it's always hot and juicy. We especially enjoy the flank steak, sirloin, and ribs; the cinnamon bananas are delicious, and the mashed potatoes and cheesy bread balls are also very tasty!
