I was a fan of Texas de Brazil but recently in my 2 visits I notice the quality of service or lack of service. Most places blame it on short staff but for a place that you spect quality of food and service is no excuse. The servers don't seem to care and if you ask for a meat well done they make a face like oh no now you making me work. Before this never happen. Also they is a long wait between servings ; so the flow of eating is interrupted. So I hope they fix service and return to the great service they had before. Will go back? Probably but I think they are better options for the price. read more

The usual nice decor ! Cool and modern. But the greeter told the two younger members of our party after saying hello that is was 47.99 to eat there without him even asking really?!? When they saw us things changed . Also the waiters are very good but the people that bring out the meat come to you even if you have your token in the red position. They do it asap after you sit to enjoy your salad bar. All this has been done in a very fast form so you can eat fast and free the table . As for the food its good and all you can eat . Great salad bar awesome! The filet mignon also have become very small. All in all the meat is good except the filet all other pieces were very good . They have also done a better job with the salt. Is it me or did the quality of their meats decrease? I've been coming to Texas de Brazil for years and haven't been here in about 3 years, but I was rather disappointed during my recent visit in which we celebrated a graduation. I must admit that the buffet section was full and most dishes were tasty, but I was a little turned off by their meats. I also don't think they had a wide variety and the same type of meats kept passing around, barely any chicken as well. Although it wasn't bad, it wasn't 5 star material either. Our server was nice and friendly, but I also think the emptiness of the restaurant helped the situation. Would I come back? Probably not to this location. Simply wonderful! We visited the Miami location of Texas de Brazil churrascaria (300 Alton Rd #200, Miami Beach). It was outstanding; my girlfriend was soooo pleased. The salad bar alone was impressive...artichoke hearts; jalapeño shrimp salad; grilled asparagus; pickled peppers & roasted tomatoes, and much, much more. ALL of the cuts of meat brought to our table on skewers were just to-die-for. Filet. I had several; although cooked to a higher temp than I prefer (medium-well), they were still moist and tender...all I really care about. These were perhaps the smokiest of all the meats we had; the wood flavor was very distinct. Just delicious... We enjoyed roasted leg of lamb. Sirloin. More than can be listed. I'm a old Texas de Brazil customer and usually I come twice a week for a dinner with friends. Tonight was the first time that the service was HORRIBLE!!! We came in 3 couples and we were waiting for rice and meat for more than 10 minutes. I asked for a discount and they gave us a shame discount. I paid but I'll never come back again because the manager was rude and sarcastic with myself. Such a horrible experience with the customer service I am shocked. I already made a previous post about my terrible meal that left me sick, after reaching out to the corporate office, I was told they wanted to see a PROOF from a doctor that I had gotten food poisoning. Never in my life have I heard of something so absurd from a restaurant. Oh, but they would like to offer me $20.00 to come again, spend obviously way over that amount since that's less than half a meal there, and give them another chance. So, why? To flip or not to flip for more meat... My favorite Brazilian steakhouse!!! I can stay here for hours and eat everything I can. The atmosphere is really nice and elegant. You kinda have to dress up a little, but make sure you wear something loose to give you space for your "food baby" haha. The waiters are really nice and if you can't decide what kind of wine you want, they go it if their way to further discuss the different types of wine they offer. The meat selection is awesome! From rare to well done doing their rounds the entire restaurant to let customers pick what their hearts desire. The food was great; the service was friendly; and the ambiance was relaxing, BUT............... hold on to your receipt and review your bank statement!!!!!! $41.92 for lunch. When I returned home from a business trip, the charge on my bank statement was $181.92. When I called and talked to a manager (Marco or Marcos), I was told they would take care of it. Several calls and attempts later, still nothing. Manager is never available when I call and there is no return phone call, as promised. Texas de Brazil has been around for many years and has remained consistent in quality and service, it is definitely a safe choice when you are in the mood for a rodizio style restaurant where they serve you endless meat cuts at your table, and you can help yourself as many times as you'd like to their salad bar which also includes hot sides such as soups, rice, potatoes, feijoada, seafood! And everything always tastes fresh! This location in particular has always offered excellent service as well! read more

Husband and I had to call people over to our table. I only had the salad bar, however, every time my husband wanted any type of meat he had to call someone over. We've been to Texas de Brazil's previously and it has never been like that. Husband said the food was over cooked and we never received our mashed potatoes or sides. Waiter never came back to refill my drink or to check on us. After flagging our waiter down, we told him we were finished. Waited over 15 minutes and he never came back. My husband finally went and spoke to the manager. Manager didn't seem to care either. The manager brought us our check and didn't offer any type of apology. Having dined here dozens of times since this location opened, and having celebrated many occasions here over the years (including my sons 21 birthday, my fortieth), we chose to celebrate my wife's milestone birthday last night (not gonna give her age, though). In retrospect, I would love to have chosen another venue. We waited for a while, having arrived early, at the bar. The primary bartender was far more concerned with her conversation with two suits at the bar than with removing the tray of dirty glasses that remained in front of us on the counter throughout our 30 minute wait. Thankfully, we were called to our table. Our server was exceptionally sharp; if only that had been the tone for what lay ahead. The ladies got their salads, then I prepared a plate (some manchego, some olives, two shrimp, some goat cheese). I took the servers recommendation and ordered a bottle of their recommended wine (if I had known what was coming I would have had just a glass). Just before 8 pm my wife and daughter were served wonderful cuts of meat. I asked for filet mignon medium-rare. The meat server said he would be back. I waited. And waited. And waited. 35-40 minutes later I sought a manager. 10 minutes later (after the meat server brought medium well cuts instead) I was able to have TWO pieces of medium rare filet. It was wonderful: but my wife and daughter had finished long before. While I was not charged for the meats (mind you, TWO 1.5 inch cubes), I was charged 24.99 for the salad bar. SERIOUSLY? For six bites of cheese and a couple of shrimp? Not to mention $69 for a bottle of wine from which I had two glasses. Dessert for my wife, the birthday girl, was on the house. Thanks!!! $9 really made me feel better! smh This was an appalling failure. I would not have posted had I not been so profoundly disappointed. While our server did his best, the rest of the evening (and managing this fiasco) was terrible. I caution my friends: choose wisely. I was horrible disappointed by my experience, and am at this moment HIGHLY unlikely to recommend TDB to anyone. Very special occasions demand very special experiences; this was "special" for all the wrong reasons. This is a restaurant in decline and is not as good as it used to be. The salad bar was not as impressive as it used to be and most of the prepared dishes were rather bland. But yea, we're all here for the meat. The meat is not as flavorful as it used to be and I think that they're using lesser quality products. In fact, the meat was very gamy and rarely had that rich roasted flavor we are used to. First and last time at the Sawgrass Mall located. Visited to celebrate a birthday. Despite the fact that the restaurant was not really busy and from what I could gather fully staffed, the service was extremely slow. I saw several staffers either doing nothing or hanging around. We had been seated for a while and I finally got someone's attention to get our drinks order. As they brought meats, they kept bringing the same type of cuts over and over (picanha and flank). Other than the picanha and the flank the rest of the meats were 'ok'. Chewy in some cases, overcooked or had no taste to it. It took forever to get out check and no one came to refill our drinks. Understanding covid measures is one thing but to have an entire staff fall short is beyond acceptable. Our waiter was terrible, the availability of the meats sub par. Since it wasn't clear what Miami Spice was offering at Texas de Brazil, I called and 2 wrong numbers later, I found out what the deal was. Each diner receives a $10 discount on their meal, that's usually $45, and a complimentary dessert. Since I'm a bad news first type of guy, I'll tell you what went wrong, before I tell you what went right. I don't know which is more rubbery, the Shrimp Salad or Marilyn Manson's costume in the "Dope Show" video. The Crab California Roll was drier than a mouthful of toilet paper. Grilled Provolone is something I prefer to have freshly prepared or it takes on the texture of ballistic gelatin and the Salmon in Creole Mustard Sauce was as fresh as unintentional YouTube sensation 50 Tyson's freestylin'. I did things in here that would make a cardiologist gasp in horror, but don't worry I did eat some vegetables -- Grilled Artichoke Bottoms, Grapes tossed in Gorgonzola Sauce, Steamed Asparagus, Roasted Onions in olive oil, Mediterranean Orzo, Tabbouleh, Green Beans sautéed in garlic, pickled Caperberries, and just about every type of Olive known to man. I also sampled Fried Bananas (not ripe plantains) were lightly sweetened and had a touch of cinnamon to cleanse the palate between meats. Now it's time for my obligatory remix, in this case it's Salt N' Pepa's '90's jam, "Let's Talk About Sex." "Let's talk about meat baby, let's talk about au jus and me. Let's talk about all the good things that are so bad for me." Grilled Chicken had the smokey, fatty flavor of cured pork permeating every bite because it was generously wrapped in bacon. Feijoada aka Brazilian Pork n' Beans is more of a meat dish because it has generous amounts of bacon, ham hocks, smoked ribs, pork shoulder, corned beef, and chouriço/chorizo. Leg of Lamb. Now don't get me wrong, I like a nice rack as much as the next guy, but in this case I suffer from a leg fetish. I ate 4 servings! I've since decided on changing careers, I'm going to genetically alter lambs to have as many legs as a centipede. Lamapedes. I couldn't do anything afterward, not even drive...I was meat wasted, DIM (driving under the influence of meat). In this case, praise little 8 lbs 6 oz baby Jesus for auto-tip, because I wouldn't have been able to do the math. Out of over 80 items available, I found fault with the seafood dishes, that's an amazing success rate. This wasn't my first visit to a churrascaria, but Grimpa, Fogovivo, and Porcão...I'm sorry but you've been bested. Texas de Brazil is currently on top. Sure you can't eat seafood here, but that's not their main purpose. Their real purpose is to turn your stomach into Noah's Ark...with two of every terrestrial animal in it. read more

Yes, I see you collective point that the service to your table becomes more scarce as time goes on - So here's a tip for anyone reading this review before you go - set your expectations with the waiter as soon as you are seated, let him/her know politely that you expect consistent service. Anyway, your head waiter will remain visible and if you want more meat or a specific cut, all you have to do is ask...it works like a charm I love to entertain friends in this place, because we can linger and talk and have some pretty good meat in between bottles of wine, it just doesn't get any better than this. Besides... if you are not satisfied with the meat or the choices just take a couple of laps around the salad bar - it is OUTSTANDING !! The Salad bar has sushi, shrimp, sun dried tomatoes, asparagus, hearts of palm not to mention great salad, soup, rice and more. Great experience. We went for my sister inlaw birthday and had a table for 14 people. Once everyone arrived they started coming out with the meats. It was non stop about 10 guys serving us. I was honestly impressed by how great the service was and how fast they came out with fresh meat. I would ask for the meat cooked the way I enjoy it and a couple mins later they brought it out. The mashed potatoes and sweet bananas was amazing. I would highly recommend to any friends or family members. From the beautiful decor to the fantastic food, this restaurant is top on my list of places to go. The hostesses are not particularly overly friendly, but do not worry! The wait staff MORE than makes up for the hostesses lack of enthusiasm. This is a typical Brazilian Churrascaria type venue, where there is a salad bar, complete with soup, rice, shrimp, sushi rolls, and so much more, and the gauchos come around with different cuts of rotisserie meat for you to choose from. They range from Fillet Mignon, to Chicken wrapped in Bacon to the typical cut Picanha. The gauchos literally swarm you when you are ready for your meat, and never let your plate get empty. Here if you request your meat a certain way (say, you prefer medium well Fillet Mignon), they have a tendency to remember and keep on offering you your preferences besides new choices as well. The cheese bread offered is out of this world, and unlimited, but do not let yourself get full on the cheese bread, save plenty of room for the meat! If you enjoy cocktails do not miss the Brazilian "Caipirinha" - they are to die for. Now, if you prefer wine with your meal, they have an extensive wine list. We have been there with a wine connoisseur who realized the wine he had ordered was not good (a problem with the wine having acidity due to inappropriate shipping) and they immediately changed it no questions asked - he chose another quite delicious wine to replace it.
