I'm a super fan of Brazilian Steakhouses, so seeing this in Tulsa made me excited to try it! I've been here a few times now and I thought it deserved a good review. Each visit here, the wait time was always short (about 10-15 minutes, if not, right away), the service is always amazing and the waiters go above and beyond, and the food is simply delicious. First off, the salad bar has a variety of different sides to complement your meal. I usually start off with a simple salad, crostini with their herb goat cheese terrine, fresh mozzarella, smoked salmon, and a lobster bisque. It already sounds like a meal in itself, but no I'm just getting started. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, the soup was absolutely flavorful and had a little spicy kick to it! They serve you plantains, mashed potatoes, and pao de quiejos (Brazilian cheese breads) at your table while offered a variety of meats. I personally love their filet, lamb, lamb chops, and the beef ribs. Definitely get the mint sauce to pair with your lamb, it's just plain delicious! The beef ribs were so soft and tender that they just melted in your mouth. Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience and I would definitely come back if given the opportunity. The meat was delicious! I was really impressed with the salad bar and the hot sides. The au gratin potatoes were delicious. The salad bar was a nice balance with the tons of meat. One server said they have 16 types of meat. I counted at least 12 I tried. The lamb chops, leg of lamb, skirt steak, and bacon wrapped chicken were my favorites and I've never been a big fan of lamb before this experience. The seasonings on everything were delicious and the meats were cooked perfectly! We went as a couples date and it was so fun and a great environment! It's a little noisy but just enough to not hear other table's conversations. Our server was also wonderful! Great experience overall. Great date night spot! Waited 30 minutes for beef ribs to come out and had to ask 7 different gauchos to get garlic beef and that took 45 minutes to get and of course that came out And it was well done. This is one of my favorite restaurants. It's a little pricey, but the food is so delicious! I always leave so stuffed. Their Broughton potatoes are good, love all the variety of steaks, chicken, pork, and sausage they have. The waitress and waiters are helpful and friendly. I was so excited to get to go to this restaurant after having been to several others in various cities n the past. I went with my wife and we were asked if medium rare meat was ok to which she informed the waiter that she needed well done meat. he told her that would not be a problem and put in a request to the kitchen. No well done meat ever came to our table and, instead, we were left with a blood bath on our table basically because the meat was not even to the medium rare stage. it is what you would refer to as "blue". Even I, who loves my meat "medium rare" could barely stomach eating some of it because it was essentially raw with a light sear on the outside. We then proceeded to try to use our membership coupon and was quickly informed that we couldn't because it was Saturday. I was left with a bill of $101 and felt like I needed to stop at McDonalds just so we could eat. we will never eat here again. read more

I took my friend here for her birthday dinner. It's been our favorite place to eat for over 3 years! We went there tonight for her birthday and it was absolutely awful. All the meat we had was unseasoned and not cooked to what we asked for. The waitress was super nice and told the manager about the problem and he not once came to talk to us. She told us he is a lower level manager and the GM wasn't there today. The lower level manager was flirting and inappropriately touching the waitresses over in the corner...patting their butts and grabbing onto them... he looked young and I'm not sure if he is experienced. We were a party of 12 for a birthday meal. The service was the most disappointing part of the meal and the worst I've ever had...anywhere. I don't believe she had ever served before. Ordered 3 bottles of wine, 2 red and 1 white. Literally took 20 minutes before the server came back to the table and said that they were out of the red wine we picked. No problem but why did it take 20 minutes to tell us. Another 10 minutes went by and she put two bottles of red on the table, unopened and left. 10 minutes later she came back, opened them and poured, after we were half way done with our meal We asked about the white wine numerous times. It Never came...ever. No apologies. Nothing. The 3 people who were drinking the white wine finally ordered by the glass. Their wine arrived, after everyone was done eating and dessert was being served. The salad bar was okay. I guess the meat was okay, but I don't know as I didn't get a single slice of any of it. Guess I was eating my salad to long and missed the rush of meat servers. I asked the server to reduce my charge to the salad bar only and she did. Again, never an apology for being skipped. Texas de Brazil is one of our favorite dining spots. We are frequent patrons of the Fort Worth Tx location. Expecting the same experience at this location, we took our family to dinner. The service was sub par. Drinks were not kept full, plates not bussed, if we wanted a fresh plate we had to get it ourselves. We also resorted to getting the water pitcher and filling our own glasses. Over all very un impressed with our dining experience. If it's your first visit to Texas De Brazil don't judge the restaurant chain based on this location. Hopefully management can get this location under control tho the current manager was more concerned about the football game than his guests. read more

Ahhhh...seemingly the perfect place to take the family or crew out for a special occasion? I thought so too so I decided to take the fam to a nice place for dinner while I in town the week before Christmas. The five of us left totally unimpressed by this place. From the get-go, the waiter (Zach) seemed inattentive and distracted every time that he engaged with us - looking away while talking to us consistently from his leading well-rehearsed spiel about the meats. I've been to plenty of other Brazilian steakhouses and this one has to be my worst experience by far. Most others, for example, pamper the diners by assisting with chairs, promptly swarm onto any dropped utensils or food, and are generally more present than I'd like. Yet we experienced the exact opposite here. Our waiter was hardly present to the point that we needed to ask another server about the dessert selections. Three utensils were dropped during our meal and were still on the floor (along with several chunks of meat that had found their way to the floor throughout our hour-and-a-half here. The food was definitely good, but for dinner for five, three $11 drinks, and 4 $9 desserts, $320 is quite a stretch. No matter how I considered it, this guy didn't do more than $10 worth of work for us. Sorry Zach, but pay more attention to your customers. We went at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 19 and the place was comfortable and uncramped. It was very odd how we witnessed several meat carriers come from the meat pit, visit one of the closest tables, then return to the pit and not appear again for quite some time. Perhaps the poor experience is partially to blame on the fact that it's attached to the mall and is, therefore, a lot more casual than the usual. Either way, the prices should be adjusted to be commensurate with the experience. The meats were great but I had issues with several things. We have eaten at a Texas de Brazil in Memphis several years ago and it was much better. I am Brazilian and know this style of restaurant very well both in the US and in Brazil. Here were my issues: 1. They were slow serving the meat. It took too long between the meets being served. Especially since one person in our table liked their meet well done. 2. They argued with us about where the piece of meat we wanted should be cut from. That was really annoying. 3. The choices of cold salads were great, but the sides on the hot buffet were very limited and cheap. They didn't even have the most basic of Brazilian dishes on the hot side: Feijoada. Which is black beans with smoked pork meats. 4. They never brought us our cappuccinos. 4. The desserts in every other Brazilian steak house of this type are buffet type. The desserts were not typically Brazilian desserts. 5. We had reservations for 8 PM and didn't seat till about 8:20. I will not be going back. It was not terrible but certainly not worth the money. read more

Not a fan, food selection is subpar. I expected a better selection for the price. At about $100 a couple I could have gotten better service and a better food selection elsewhere. Staff was slow and very few people could help me with questions of what was any anything. Being I have an allergy it's really important. When I started having an allergic reaction to the food the manager refused to come to our table and no help was offered. Just our bill and we swear there is no cross contamination from our server. I'll NEVER go back and am more then happy to tell the world how crappy they are and how little they inform their employees for a $50 meal I expect better service then I get anywhere else from all the staff. Table wait time at this location, even with a reservation, is much longer than other locations, possibly due to staff shortage or just inefficient tracking of table availability. As with most similar types of these establishments, the food is overpriced for what it is, and you are buying the novelty of the meat being served off swords. The food is well prepared and the concept is nice to experience. The salad bar is average, with a good selection, but lacking a wide variety of dressings and sides (particularly missing pasta salads and cheese varietals). Staff is constantly interruptive, even when you have the sign on to not bring more food, so don't plan on having good dinner conversation without including your wait staff on the details every 5 minutes. read more

Great concept with excellent cuts of meat, many of which were unfortunately ruined by and incredible amount of extra unnecessary salt. Put this in the context that I am the guy whose wife is always telling him to stop adding extra salt to the food in his plate and I'm telling you that some of the cuts of meat especially the lamb chops were completely ruined by the kitchen kitchen using excess of salt in the meets preparation. Our dining experience was wonderful. Definitely give Texas de Brazil 5 stars! The restauraunt was only been open a couple of days at the time of this review, so some ineffeciencies are to be expected. The staff was very helpful and attentive, the meats were wonderful and very tasty. This was a special occasion dinner and the wait staff made it a very special occasion for our guest. Buffet was good, I tried many things on the buffet but not all of them. The servers coming around with the skewers of meat were also very attentive, the meat was well cooked/flavored and very hot, mixed drinks were good, and dessert was wonderful. The manager came around and introduced himself and offered his assistance on any issue we had. Overall I highly recommend dining at Texas de Brazil, come hungry!!! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. Such a romantic nice place with an amazing wine selection! Located in the mall you would think it wouldn't be fancy but it was! Only complaint was we had a hard time understanding our server with her accent. But she was super nice and very knowledgeable of the menu and food items. We got to try new items and my husband loved the sushi. The lamb was a little salty to my likely but it was my first time trying it as well. So I'm not sure if it's meant to be like that. The banana foster dessert was to die for (pictured below). I didn't think I had any room left to eat it but my third stomach kicked in and enjoyed sharing it with my husband (even though I didn't want to haha). We spent over $800.00 on a meal that we had to struggle to get. The red wine was brought to the table and was not uncorked until half way through the meal, the white wine was was not brought to the table until after the meal was over. I've been to a fair amount of Brazilian grills over the past twenty years and this one is pretty good. The price point isn't too bad for dinner service $43. Granted the folks serving aren't Brazilian or speak Portuguese, like some Brazilian grills I've been to, but the service was good. I'm a rare meat fan and my request was accommodated. The salad bar was well stocked and very visually appealing; for example, the procuitto was folded and layered in a circular pattern. The meat selections were extensive and quick. The estimated different meats was about 15 different kinds of lamb, pork, chicken, and beef. A few things that I didn't see were fish, grilled veggies or pineapple, or chicken hearts. Took the fam as they never had been. Having a vegetarian daughter, I wish our waiter would have told us we would get a discount since she only ate from the SMALL offerings at the salad bar. Most of which was meat. We expected this since we were going to a steakhouse, it just would have been nice to get the discounted price I didn't know existed because a menu isn't given and it was never mentioned. My reason for a one star - all three of us ended up in their bathroom feeling like death. There was not one thing all three of us ate so we can't narrow it down. We all drank water. We all were feeling sick for the rest of the afternoon and my vegetarian daughter takes pride in her steel trap of a stomach. The meat was very tender. We went right at 4 because we had a concert that night. Due to the small crowd, we were typically the first ones to get a slice off the meat stick. This led to our meat being incredibly salty. The first couple bites, ok, but we quickly had to stop because the salt was ridiculous. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Maybe their location in a mall is why their bar is so small? Today we experienced the worst management and eating experience I believe I have ever had at any restaurant. We dined in at the Tulsa OK location. Texas de Brazil is my husbands favorite restaurant so we drove two hours to get here. He is an Air Force veteran and has a service dog that comes along with him. We requested to be placed away from food and foot traffic due to the size of the dog. We were sat right by the front door. The wait staff and manager proceeded to step over the dog almost stepping on her. She is a very expensive piece of medical equipment that can not be replaced as she is my husbands best friend. When the manager mike came over and asked us about our experience we were honest with him about being upset that our dog was almost stepped on multiple times. He suggest that we put her farther under the table to remedy the problem. Not only is this completely unacceptable but it is not ok to suggest that pushing her under the table is acceptable either. read more

When you find that perfect table near the back, the scrumptious meats will come out of the kitchen still crackling. It's so good your eyes will roll back in your head. The seasonings are perfect and the cuts are generous or whatever you chose (if you sometimes just want a little bit of everything like me). Usually the lamb chops are my favorite, but the piquana tonight was off the charts (off the chain for my ebonics peeps). As usual, the service was outstanding. Management (Devan C., the General Manager, who worked his way up to management by age 24) is exceptional because everything in the house ran smoothly like a well oiled machine. Despite it being a packed house on Mother's Day, no one missed a beat, and I didn't miss one flavorful bite! Mother's were also given a generous gift and made to feel like queens. Nate (Breezy) Anderson is one of the best carvers in the house and both he and Asst. Mgr. Desiree are well versed in how to make guests feel like they are the most important people in the place.
