My experience was pretty much exactly like a previous reviewer- Shardanay. I've been to another stuffed turkey leg style place in Houston so I know they tend to be more expensive and I was prepared for that. But I was really disappointed by the flavor. It was really just so-so. Eatable, but nothing I would get excited about. We had both the shrimp alfredo and another shrimp one. Both needed more sauce and the rice was a little dry. We also wished the turkey leg itself even without the sauce was seasoned or flavorful. We went around 8pm on a Friday and had no line. The food came out quickly and the employees were nice. I have been waiting for so long to try this food truck. Summer seemed to last for 9 months and since it's all the way across town for me, I didn't want to sit outside in the 106 degree weather to eat. That being said, the shrimp on the mac was outrageously good! The mac was good too. The special sauce was not so special as was the service. Service was fine, but I feel a food truck should put forth the same love as a restaurant. Just a delicious food truck that is kind of a hidden gem. No seating so it's all to go. I'm not big on Turkey legs, but I've never had one this good. Great smoke fall off the bone meat. I had high Hope's for Frontyard as seeing it on Good Eats SA as well as all the rave reviews on Yelp but I'm disappointed to say it didn't measure up taste wise in my opinion. First off let me say I'll pay a pretty penny for good food because I'm a foodie but when turkey legs cost $66 bucks it better be finger licking lip smacking good and unfortunately this wasn't. Our total was $66 after placing an order for a hot cheetos Turkey leg sans the alfredo sauce my son opted out of that. I got the famous turkey leg w/ secret sauce and rice with a side of mac n cheese and my hubby got the shrimp alfredo Turkey leg. We went on Wednesday afternoon so there was no wait time at all, ordering was actually a breeze and our order was ready in no time. I liked their time efficiency and the guy who took our order was very friendly so that was a plus. After quickly receiving our order we dashed home to dig in our goodies while they were still hot. We got home to still hot food, yay, they were located only about 10 minutes from our home so it made it easy to do so. Now let me start with the positives. The Turkey leg was pretty good, very moist, the Turkey was falling off the bone, and it was huge. I can say they do have well portioned plates. Now what made my experience less memorable was the lack of flavor. I'm a macaroni and cheese connoisseur so I know good Mac! This mac I got was far from good, it was dry, lacked cheesiness, no flavor at all. I was so disappointed especially because I was thinking about getting their mac attack Turkey leg which was $30 bucks but I'm so glad I didn't because the mac was lackluster. The secret sauce they drizzled on the Turkey leg was also a bit on salty side in my opinion. My son and hubby were on the fence with their meals as well. Overall my experience was less memorable than I expected. Kudos on great customer service but because of the high price point for lackluster food. I rate my experience 3 out of 5 stars. In my mind I was thinking it was going to be on the lines of a Turkey Leg Hut in Houston and unfortunately it didn't measure up in my opinion. They need to do something about their parking area. People just park anywhere, and some people park right in the front blocking others in. A classic is ok, not the best, but good. The sides and drinks are expensive. I paid $10 for a 6-10 oz drink that was mostly ice, and most of it spilled because of the ice and no lid. It wasn't a mixed drink, so I don't know why it was so much. They're charging tax, but they don't have a permit or health inspection posted, so I think they're keeping it. Also, a few to use a card? Most businesses don't charge a fee if over $5-10. When I'm spending $40+ every time, I think they can eat that cost. Also they said they were going to start doing a reward program but it was going to take awhile but in November, they were going to do a giveaway. Never heard of saw anything. read more

I found this place on social media and knew I had to try it! Been waiting all week to try it and was nearby so we checked it out. Our gps had us all turned around but luckily we found it behind a gas station and car wash. The food truck was playing some good music and I could smell the aroma of Turkey legs. We ordered the Mac attack Turkey leg that cost $30.. probably waited about 10 minutes for it. They gave us a good portion and it was delicious.. the meat melted right off the bone. We absolutely love this place. I've been about 4 times in the past three months but that's only because of the distance from where we live to Marbach. The turkey baked potato is my absolute favorite (I've had it three times now) and my daughter got the turkey mac and cheese bowl. It was so beautiful she literally had a tear come down. While I laughed at her for being that person, I absolutely agreed with her rating. 5 stars across the board. But get there early as once they are sold out, they are done. read more
