It's worth the wait! We had been looking to try this food truck out for awhile and finally got the opportunity to head that way. It's a bit of a drive from our side of town, but worth it!!! There were lots of options and everything looked mouthwatering!!! We ordered a regular turkey leg, a Parmesan turkey leg and a Mac Attack Turkey Leg! Let me tell you....THEY FELL OFF THE BONE! Like you can pull it out! Great flavor! To say they are tender is an understatement! Not one piece was dry! The original is perfect if you are looking for that OG Turkey Leg. The Parmesan is their own recipe. Wasn't ready for the spice. It has lots of red pepper in it. It's not a bad thing...just not what you would expect in a Parmesan flavor. It's a wet and dry rub all at the same time. Now let's talk about The Mac Attack! HUGE portion! Mac and cheese has to have truffle in it or some sort of addictive seasoning, because no one could stop eating it! The Alfredo on the Mac was creamy and delicious! The noodles were the perfect consistency and were the thick macaroni you get at a potluck! But Wait, there's more...we can't forget the shrimp! They were cooked just right and had a nice Cajun flavor to them! The shrimp brought in a different flavor profile into the mix! And Of course the meat fell off the bone! Now remember, you are coming for the food! Not to eat there or for the ambience! It's in a vacant lot, next to a car wash. There aren't tables or chairs. We got a little red neck and whipped out our folding chairs that we carry for our kid's games. We tailgated it. Walked to the gas station next to car wash and grabbed drinks (brown bag koozies lol). They have music playing and we went on a beautiful day. We ate them right then and there. Most people pickup and go from what we saw. The cars and line never stopped! They provide forks and napkins. If you eat your OG turkey legs with mustard (our friend does) you will need your own. We even went back before we left and bought 2 more to take home and share with our older kids. Threw them in the fridge and they can heat them up in the oven later when they come by. They have a great to-go setup and the crew is working hard to keep up with the demand. These guys have it down. We spoke with a camera guy there and he said that they just got a second truck that will be traveling around town. This was great news! Means they will be closer to our side of town. But even if they didn't have this option we would make the trip to get these! They have perfected the turkey leg! Don't know what the secret to it falling off this bone....but I like it!!!! I reached out to them via Instagram to let them know, and they got back to me almost immediately. I went back the very next day and ordered the same thing - thank goodness I did! I'm very new to the whole smoked Turkey leg so this review doesn't come with it's fair share of smoked Turkey leg (I'll explain more below why that is) experience but I will say this food is superb if you're into trying new flavors on smoked Turkey leg. Meat is either too dry or too rubbery or just plain strange for the texture. But this guys knows what he's doing and I love how he's doing his own take on serving smoked Turkey legs. I got the baked potatoe while some friends got their special Turkey leg and another got their shrimp Alfredo leg. All we're good but I'm not a fan of any shrimp Alfredo sauce. But I SO SO enjoyed my baked potato. It was a lot of food so please brace yourself for the quantity and try to eat light so you can really enjoy this delicious food. Washed it down with a nice Coca Cola. Order ahead if you can by calling or else you're looking at a solid 30-40 minute wait. I've seen people pick up their orders and start eating it right way in their cars. So that should give you an idea of how good it is.
