I'd give half a star if I could. I am deeply disappointed by my experience with Texas Nissan in Grapevine. They are exactly why car dealerships have the reputation they do. First, there are bogus "non-negotiable" restoration fees tacked on to the advertised price of the car. I was upfront and honest from the get-go and got nothing but smoke and mirrors in return. Isaiah in the finance department was snakey. I asked questions on every document I was asked to sign, was thorough in reading, (ya know, because this is a big decision and a considerable amount of money), and he brushed each of my questions and acted like I shouldn't be taking the time to read the documents. I ended up catching mistakes on 2 documents that he had to fix and reprint. At this point, I'm not sure if they were actually mistakes or if he was trying to slip something by me. When it came to warranty, I told him no 3 times. He kept pushing me, talking about how german cars are expensive to fix and how my car would be prone to break down during the warranty time period, definitely pressing me to the point to where I was second guessing my decision to not go with the warranty. He asked if he took some off the price, if I would say yes. At this point, I knew I was going to be very upset with myself if I said no to warranty and something went wrong. I told him that getting up to the 16,000s in price scared me (I was paying for this car in cash and didn't want to stretch my budget too thin). He said "okay, what if your all-in price was $15,900? Would you do it then?" And I said yes. I financed the car to allow time for the money to move from my savings to my checking, and by the time my account was open and I was able to pay off the principal amount, I paid it off completely aside from the $100 deposit & $650 downpayment I had given the dealership. After waiting almost a month for the $750 to be applied to my account so that I can close it out, I text Isaiah to get an update on what's going on. He responds with a photo of paperwork (not signed by me) that says the all-in total price was $16,650. I was initially encouraged by the sales person James, who worked with me and seemed awesome. However, after feeling like I've had one pulled over on me, I can firmly say I will not be doing business with Texas Nissan ever again. This has been an extremely upsetting experience, and I strongly recommend that everyone else stay away as well. read more

In particular it was with Josh the finance manager and QB (Quentin) the used car salesman. They lie and are disrespectful to say the least. The truck was supposed to be painted based on their owe agreement but the never painted the truck. My daughters car has bad brakes and only one key provided of which we never received after the promised to provide it. If you call them out about their bad service, they get mad and throw you out of their dealership. I was never given any of the services promised!! Took my 2010 Qx56 in for an oil change at 4pm on Saturday. Advisor said they only have 0w20 oil. Qx calls for 5w30 oil. Advisor said he wouldn't use ow20 in it and they would have to bring 5w30 oil in as they don't use 5w30 there. I asked what about all the older Nissan vehicles? They all use 5W30. There's no way they don't have 5W30. Then to do oil change it was going to be $110 with 5w30. Also guy didn't know how to open hood on qx56, which is exactly like a Nissan Armada. I then went up the street to infiniti, they have 5W30. What dealer doesn't carry 5w30? read more

We had a decent experience at this dealership. They had a wide variety of used vehicles to look at and test drive. Originally went to view a Hyundai Santa Fe. The vehicle had clearly not been detailed yet as there were crumbs and trash from prior owners. Surprised they didn't detail before showing, especially since we made an appointment. Test drove 2 other vehicles and landed on a used 2022 Nissan Rogue. After some negotiation we were able to get close to the price we wanted. Staff was friendly and helpful overall. read more

After having my tune-up abut a wk ago (includes tire rotation), as well as many items regularly checked on...I began to have a shimmy I felt in my wheel. I called to have them look at it and check on this shimmy thru an appt (as they encouraged). I was FLOODED with not only emails, but text also, about my 9am appt. Our APPT WAS NOT HONORED. When my husband arrived early for the appt, they told him it would be a 3-5 hr wait, as "there's not mechanics just waiting for you!"...yup, very rude auto-sales rep. They wanted $190 up front to just check on it. Since I didn't have a shimmy BEFORE my tune-up visit (w/ standard tire rotation), I was needing them to honor what they messed-up on my tires...simple weights were wrong...not brain surgery. You would think a large Nissan repair shop would WANT to make things right...thats all I wanted. But they sat there trying to scare off my hubby with the 3-5hr wait, and being rude set us over the edge to NEVER USE this dealer again...even though I bought my Rogue from them. The managing partner (owner) Johnny Cantrell was very very rude and condescending to me on the open sales floor as well with his staff surrounding him. I have never been treated like this by Nissan in my life. I have been leasing cars from Nissan for over 23 years. I started the conversation telling him I have been doing business with Nissan for a long time and have never been told one thing and not given it. I told him I have been in finance for years and do not understand why I was told I had maintenance plus plan and being charged for it when service says I don't have the plan. He said in a condescending manner did u check your paperwork? I told him I have reviewed it. He asked the finance manager to pull it. Then he states, "What are you expecting out of this, what would u tell your customers? Are you expecting a check from me?" He was being combative and loud. Then he says very sarcastically, "I see that you clearly are having to collect your thoughts here". I advised him he is talking to me in a condescending tone and I do not appreciate this. I told him I am done doing business with him in the future due to this experience and I am sure he does not care. I went to follow the finance manager to see what I paid for and he yells out, "I thought you were done doing business with us yet I see you following him. Have a good weekend!" (Far from the start of a good weekend with treatment like this) This was awful. Service was pulling up the old plan. The service director Josh was amazing!!! So wasn't the Finance Manager in sales. He found out what happened printed plan for me and highlighted my plan# to get referenced for me in the service department. It was the treatment that was unfair to a loyal customer. Just returned my lease on a Pathfinder with intention to buy, but found out our finance person flat out lied to us when he was talking us though the process. He got us to trade in a vehicle and pay $2300 down and told us we would have a low monthly payment and also have "equity" in the lease vehicle that would lower the sale price at the end of the lease term. This was my first lease and also my last. I trusted this employee and finance person to help us make the best decision for my family. He said trading in our vehicle and putting more cash down would be a "win win". None of that was true. There was no equity in the vehicle. I spoke with Johnny Cantrell-Owner guy and he was flat out rude and dismissive. 3 minutes in to talking with him he apologized for being "frustrated and had other things waiting on him". I have begged to the cell phone of a manager to call me...nothing. 15 contacts to get help the GM know of the sales guys unethical practices toward my wife. Beware allowing your wife to be taken care of by the people that try to sell vehicles out from under normal people even after they have a deposit in hand for the deal. When I called in to make my appointment the person I spoke to was a little crass- upon arriving the advisor was nice and felt as I did before (my previous advisor I really liked is no longer there). In the past I have always shown a coupon or discount that was presented on the website- upon my advisor discharging me he very plainly said there's been a change of ownership and we don't honor it at the end of service anymore and there's nothing we can do. From a customer service standpoint- it's not welcoming or accommodating. There's nothing wrong with making an exception 1 time for a person who has only taken her car to be serviced at this location. The checkout employee was nice in stating it's been challenging but when I presented the coupon she said it didn't apply to my vehicle (which it NO WHERE stated on there there were excluded vehicles)- another false advertising and frustrating to the customer. Awful bait and switch tactics. We drove an hour to see a particular car listed online. We called ahead, made an appointment. Vehicle was listed as $12,000 online, plus tax, title, and license. We were willing to pay that price. Then in negotiations, they tried to tac on an additional 2-3k for "general maintenance," which includes basic services such as buff & wax, oil change, etc. I told them this was a deceptive practice to have people come out, then to tack on additional expenses for frivolous services. Their defense was, "well everyone does it." We were still in negotiations upon realizing this. We decided to end negotiations as we cannot support or condone this type of misleading sales practice. Furthermore, we had not even made it to the finance department and realized that they had also already submitted a hard run on our credit. Con-artists. No thanks. DO NOT BUY HERE Absolutely horrible experience. My husband and I purchased a 2019 Santa Fe from them in November; exactly a week after purchasing, the check engine light comes on. We called the dealership and took it in to see what the issue was but, unfortunately, they were not able to diagnose it. We took it to a Hyundai dealership and they let us know that it would need a whole new transmission and the mechanic who helped us mentioned that the engine codes had been wiped before we purchased it, which he said was slightly suspicious with the timing. The finance manager, Josh Howard, was absolutely no help with it at all. We called him several times and he refused to return voicemails or text messages for almost a week. We finally received a single text message from him saying that he was not going to help us and it was now our issue. He showed no sympathy or understanding of the situation. Once our money was in his hand, his customer service facade completely dropped. We also called the GM, Johnny, several times left voicemails, emails and got nothing except a simple email brushing us off. We did manage to get a hold of the other manager, Jake, who wouldn't even let my husband get a sentence in without interrupting him saying it's now our problem and they have no legal obligation to help us. Long story short, we bought a car from this dealership in September, they promised to fix the bumper and paint work, and we even have the WE OWE paper, then nobody called so we called and texted and left voicemails, finally a manager said they have problem with the third party vendor, stated that's their fault so no worries, not going to leave us high and dry, just keep waiting... then nobody called so we called and left voicemails and texted, either no response or saying sombody would call us back but they never did, or saying the manager is no longer there, or saying the salesman is no longer there... and then they said it's over 30 days now so they are not responsible for the repair. My recent service experience at TEXAS NISSAN OF GRAPEVINE on Oct 21, 2024. Leo in the Service Department took care of my primary issue, which was my door latch/handle. I had to leave my SUV overnight even if the part was available. As promised, my SUV was ready Oct 22, 2024, in the afternoon. Nissan sent an Uber to pick me up around 4PM, which is a nice service, as long as it's within a10 mile vicinity. I saw Leo, paid, checked if the door latch/handle was working, and it was. I drove away and went straight to the Glade Road Target. When I got out of my SUV, I noticed FRESH scratches on all 4 doors. I called Nissan @4:48PM and asked for Leo. I told Leo about my discovery and he gave me his personal phone (which I appreciated) so I could text him pictures of the scratches. I said, once I get home, I will take and send him the pictures. I sent Leo a total of 5 pictures. Of course, I understand, this was after working hours, and did not expect a text back. It took him 6 days (October 28) to message me back after I followed up, and he said "I've emailed my boss and we are working on it as we speak." Two weeks later, November 5, I messaged back asking how long I would have to wait for an answer. Leo messaged back (November 6) and said he was going to send me pictures via CCTV on the day I picked up my vehicle (10/22/24). What I received were 2 pictures and a video of me getting into my SUV. He said - "those damages that you have sent was not there when you picked up your vehicle." I messaged back and asked for the CCTV time stamp and where my vehicle was parked for 1 1/2 days. Fresh damage could NOT have happened from when I picked up my vehicle up until I notified Nissan, a matter of 30-45 minutes and drove to one destination, no stops in between. This was 11/6/2024. I just would like to start off I arrived at 7:30 am. I decided to get a coffee in the customers waiting room which was full of ants. Not only did I experience that but many other customers experienced it as well. I reported the ants to multiple staff and they blatantly ignored it. Okay so now to the car Issue. I was told I was going to be contacted and I haven't been contacted since I been there which was 12 hours. I been waiting 12 hours and no one would say anything to me. I have recently bought a used car from this dealership. This was probably the fastest I have ever bought a car. In fact, I paid for it before the checks and inspection were completed. Waleed was very responsive and assisted with answers and the test drive. Originally, I test drove few cars with Preston, and he was very helpful, too. Negotiations with Yousef were efficient, and I appreciated not having to haggle extensively, since I dread that part of the car buying process. Devon, the finance manager, explained the warranty options without the hard sell. Paperwork was all digital and quick (yay!). I appreciate that the dealership also didn't cut corners in detailing the car and properly performing the checks and small fixes on the car, even though I already paid for it. They happily sold us a used truck that we now owe literally over double the value on. We carried zero negative equity into the deal and now owe $40k on a truck worth $15k. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand they need to make some money in order to keep the doors open but I can't help feeling taken advantage of. Yes, shame on us for trusting the dealership when they told us what a great deal we were getting. We don't buy many cars and we needed something right away due to an accident. I came to get my tires rotated because I had very visible wear on the front tire treads. They checked my car and my alignment was off so I opted to get that fixed as well. Flash forward to the next day I look at my tires and realized they never rotated them, but I paid for that service. Both of my front tires still had the visible wear. I called and left a message but it was Sunday so it was closed. I either expect a refund, or for my tires to actually get rotated. I have not heard back yet. I'll also just add that when I was waiting for my car to be finished, I was told the service was done and it was going through the car wash so I could check out. After I checked out I waited another 25 minutes and still didn't have my car. When I went to look for it, I couldn't find it. I had some other service men help me. Turns out it was being test drove by the service guy who was helping me originally, and never went through the car wash (which probably would have been another 20+ minute wait. I purchased a used Jeep Cherokee from Texas NIssan. I could not take immediate delivery because the air conditioning wasn't working and the windshield was cracked and needed to be replaced. I did drive the vehicle and was satisfied with the performance and lack of road noise. When I picked the vehicle up, I commented to the used car manager that the noise above 50 MPH wasn't there when I originally test drove it. He attributed the noise to the large tires on the Jeep. I took the car home and began researching new tires. I decided to have noise evaluated by a 3rd party. Evidently the loud whooshing noise above 50 MPH is related to an incorrectly installed windshield. I emailed the dealership and received a response from Cole Waldrop; Pre-Owned Sales Manager. He said they would take care of it, and then proceeded to ghost me for the past 9 days. Totally unacceptable customer service, especially from a dealership owned by Warren Buffet. The regular price of $69.95 is marked out on the coupon. Why would I have been charged $145 for an oil change that should have been $69.95? Came in to look at the 2016 Hyundai Tucson and most likely drive home in after paying cash. Michael came out to talk to us as my wife and I were looking at it. Told him we were interested in a test drive, gave him my drivers license and he went back in to get the keys. Fast forward about 5 mins later, comes back and says we need to talk more inside before I can do the test drive. I said nope, no need. I gave you my license, was going to leave my car there (which i am not selling) and do a quick test drive. Wife and I got back our car and started to leave. "Manager" Steve flags us down as we are leaving and asks if he can help. Explained situation to him he says you have had drive offs with people having fake id's and would need more info and to come inside to talk about car. I said no, we can go look at another 2016/2017 Tucson down at another dealership which is a little cheaper and has less miles. Ya'll just happened to be close by and easier to get to. Really a shame. Heard great things about this dealership on KTCK but apparently not true. I did not want to get dragged into the showroom and talk numbers or anything prior to test drive. Had Michael said he needed phone number and drivers license, this probably could have been avoided and you would have had another sale tonight. I really hate wasting time doing nonsense stuff. Just let me test drive the car. If I like I, then we can talk numbers. Instead, treat me like I don't really matter and try to get me in so you can gauge my interest, probably do a quick check on the internet about me then figure out how to get more money out of me. On 6/22/2023, we purchased a 2021 Nissan Rogue. After driving it for a couple of months, specifically on the highway, we took a good look at the tires. They were various manufacturers & in various stages of wear resulting in an UNEVEN drive. We got 5 quotes & purchased new tires. During that process, it was brought to our attention that one of the wheels is BENT. Since we did NOT bend the wheel, the only conclusion to be reached is that it was sold to us as such. The cost for replacing the wheel is $490.44. On Thursday or Friday (21 or 22 Sep), I called & asked to speak to the Preowned Sales Manager. I was told he was in a meeting & they took my information. When I didn't receive a call after several hours, I called back. I was forwarded to who I was told was the Preowned Sales Manager. I do not recall his name. I explained why I was calling. He told me he couldn't put brand new tires on a vehicle as he would be out of business in a month. I told him I was NOT requesting reimbursement for the tires...although there should be at least some level of regard in making sure that the tires were in similar wear. I told him I felt they should reimburse us for the cost of the wheel. He then states that the vehicle would not have passed inspection with a bent wheel. He also states that he is not in charge of the service department who is responsible for the inspection. So, he threw them under the bus...what a classy guy. He then tells me that I should have let you know about the wheel issue sooner. I DIDN'T know there was an issue with the wheel until we took it in to have the tires replaced. I do NOT feel 3 months is that long of a period. He kept saying if I had contacted him sooner, maybe. Really??? If I had contacted him 1 month after, I would get the same response. Most people do NOT find it necessary to replace tires a few months after they buy a vehicle. This is the first time in my used car buying experience that I had to replace tires as early in the ownership process. This is NOT normal & it does NOT represent your business well at all. As I was getting NOWHERE with the Preowned Sales Manager, I asked to speak to his supervisor. I was put through to someone's VM. I left a message & NEVER received a call back. The response from an employee...NOT supervisor: sorry to hear that but unfortunately if 30 days passed without an issue since it's a used car I know the management will not reimburse for any repairs after a Month of buying the car that's why they ask every customer to purchase the warranty because its as is used vehicle. My response back: You sell a vehicle "as is" & you state it is certified with a 167 multi point inspection as something that actually means something.Then you try to coerce a customer to spend thousands of dollars on a warranty...typically with deductibles adding even more to the purchase.This is why people dislike traditional dealerships. "As is" is given less attention, & you speak proudly of this certification...again as if it means something.We didn't cause this wheel to be bent...meaning your 167 multi point inspection that your preowned manager defended...& then blamed on service has zero value. He also stated he didn't personally do the inspection...as if that matters! If you are in charge, you accept responsibility. I shouldn't have to purchase an expensive warranty to ensure the vehicle I drive off the lot is safe to drive & isn't going to need expensive repairs just a few months after purchase. Like most people, we have to save for an expensive purchase. We knew within the first month that we were going to need to buy new tires. We sacrificed & saved for 2 months. As I explained to the pre-owned manager when he questioned why I didn't contact sooner...there was no way to know the wheel was bent UNTIL we replaced the tires. Buyer Beware! Texas Nissan of Grapevine admitted it was their fault for burning up our car after an oil change. What they didn't do was make it right afterwards. The owner of the dealership laughed in our face after asking him to please make this right. The owner said he's a business man and will not lose money on this and tried to sell us a car at full price with no discount. He had no remorse or care about the stress of having to purchase another car when we had ours almost paid off. We had to except the insurance money which didn't even cover a good used car. Then that put us out thousands of dollars during the holiday season. The owner of Texas Nissan in Grapevine doesn't care about his customers; it's all about the money. Please share!! read more

HORRIBLE! The epitome of a sleezy car dealership. They sold my 83 year old mother in law two vehicles totaling $80,000 (2018 Rogue and 2018 Titan) when she only has $1800 in total income and poor credit. The payments total $1507.79 not including insurance. And, yes, she does have rent to pay and other bills so she has no money left over. Don't get me wrong, she definitely shares responsibility for agreeing to this deal and we're working through that as well. But, for them to be sold two vehicles like this with her background and finances is SHADY at best. Anyone who has ever bought a car through financing knows they need to meet certain criteria including being able to pay for them. There is NO WAY she qualified for these loans. The dealer played games behind the scenes by going to two different financing institutions (Bank of America for the Titan and Santander for the Rogue) because they knew they couldn't get approved for both through one financing company. AND, they also knew that if they did it on the same day the two financing companies wouldn't know about the other deal. So, Texas Nissan did whatever they had to in order to sell an 83 year old lady two cars...the hell with ethics or integrity. Of course, they've had the vehicles for about 3 months now and are 2 months behind on payments. read more

Texas Nissan of Grapevine services department a scam/fraud . Literally shady people working.. I had bought their oil change special buy 5 and get 2 free. after 2 oils changes, they have cancelled rest of the oil changes and come up with the excuse that I had to sign contract. When I asked them why after 2 changes I had to sign contract they had no answer. When I spoke to the supervisor, he was no different than his sales rep. If I had seen reviews  I would not have gone there. read more

I bought a truck way back when from a different dealer. They would not honor my service because they were bought out. This Nissan though did honor my service. Every time I went to service my vehicle here - they did a great job. I finally sold that vehicle, but when the time is right - because the service department did me right so many times - that I will purchase here. Unethical rip-off artists. On the Texas Nissan of Grapevine website, they state "Remember, the price you see online is the price you'll pay when you visit us in person - you can count on it!" That is a lie. $1,341.00 was added to the $9,000.00 advertised price of our used car for an "160-something-point" inspection (called "Dealer-Added Accessories: Reconditioning" on our invoice). We found out after several weeks of getting the runaround from our sales guy that this inspection was never completed. After repeatedly requesting paperwork from our salesperson, and him finally admitting that the inspection was not done, he lied again and claimed that receiving our title and plates was dependent on the inspection, but "miraculously" we received both without it! After this kind of dishonesty, we are not willing to bring our car back there for anything, and we just want the $1341.00 back for the inspection that was never completed. read more
