They overbooked saturday morning and i was told it would be an hour for an oil change. No problem. An hour and a half goes by, no one came to tell me what was going on and i did not receive notice of the diagnostics. This is their standard service. I found an advisor and asked what was happening with my vehicle. I saw it when it went into the car wash and when they put it in the ready to go garage. Again, no one came to get me. I tracked down a service manager and explained why i was irritated. 2 hours for an oil change when the expectation was previously set. It wasn't so much the wait that bothered me. It was the lack of service. Mark-the service manager went above and beyond to help me, apologized and made up for my loss. I have purchased 2 vehicles from them and plan on purchasing more from them. I purchased a 2022 Chevy Suburban from Texas Nissan's Pre-Owned Department. The salesman's name was Steve and the pre-owned manager was Cole. While the vehicle itself was fine, the Z71 badge on the vehicle was damaged which Steve had pointed out. They both agreed it could be brought back for repair and provided documentation of this. However, this was roughly 3 months ago. Despite multiple times of trying to reach these two individuals as well as leaving multiple messages, I have received no phone calls or messages. When I finally reached Cole about two months later, he made a statement that alleged I had damaged the Z71 badge during the test drive. If you are looking to purchase a used vehicle, I would look past this place, especially these two individuals. I am so upset with this dealership. They added a surprise $1400 fee on a car we were interested in that was a "refurbish fee". I called other dealerships and they say that that fee should already be worked into the price. Needless to say- we walked away. Later we renegotiated $1000 down- personally, I would not have gone back if we had not needed the car. Second- we asked to put a certain amount down but when they typed up the financing they wrote the numbers wrong. Third- we got a "Free" warranty for $800- that is what he paperwork said- but really- we would have rather had the $800. we asked about it and they said it was already "in the price of the car". MIND YOU- they asked if we wanted a warranty and we said no repeatedly- the viola we get a free one for $800. Shady. Fourth- we get home and the car locks but he key nor the fob- work so basically we have a 15 hour new car that no one can drive and the CAR SALESMAN IS OFF TODAY SO HE ASKED US TO WAIT TILL TOMORROW THAT IS LITERALLY INSANE. He texted me saying that he would have it ready for a test drive when I could get off work. Avoid this dealership!!! We saw a listing for a used 2008 Dodge Charger on Carfax, Craigslist and Cargurus from this dealership. It had been listed for several days. My husband called to confirm they still had the vehicle and explained that we were driving from over 60 miles away to see it and we were only interested in a charger. Salesman, Ryan, physically went out to check the vehicle and told us to come on over. We drove 1 1\2 hrs. When we arrived we went to see the vehicle and noticed a big scratch down the side that was not shown in the photo however, that is not the reason we were upset. The vehicle has a tag on it that said it wasn't cleared for sale. The salesman said that was just cause it was a new arrival. He went to check something and told us he had just got back from driving to put gas in it. My husband checked the oil and it was EMPTY! Now the sales manager shows up with Ryan and tells us they can't sell us the car because it has engine problems. I said, "no kidding, there's no oil in it!" Then he says they can show us a used Nissan. We couldn't even start the car. Drive all that way and they act like they were doing us a favor by not letting us buy a vehicle with an engine problem. When I complained that they listed the vehicle as if it had been through their inspection process they said that it gets listed right away to get "foot traffic" in their door. I was foolish enough to buy a "new" car here. I purchased it brand new, as a first owner. I noticed the paint started to peel and fade, only to discover my vehicle was sold to me with after market parts. When I brought it to the dealerships attention, they didn't deny that my "new" car could've had hail damage that they "fixed" before I bought it. The windshield glue/sealant started bubbling up and lifting. My front headlight perpetually has moisture in it no matter how many times I've brought the car in. Even worse? I came by to trade in my car, and the sales rep sexually harassed me, and wouldn't give me my keys unless I agreed to a date. When I told a manager, he asked me what I did to make his sales rep think he could harass me. You read that right. What did I do to MAKE him be disrespectful. When it came down to numbers he made me fill out an application which was not needed to be filled since I told him I had been pre approved through my bank. Yet he said I had to and ran my credit 3 times for what to tell me prices I already had. Even at that he was charging me higher prices when my bank had already set me an offer. My initial visit was to inspect the car. Worst customer service as well, throughout the whole time I was inspecting the car any little thing I brought up to him he'd say "well it's a used car what do you expect" keep in mind it was a 2018 and as a sells person he could've carried the situation differently. Not to mention the car was not in best conditions (interior). Back seats were filthy and a bit torn as if the previous owner owned a pet. Do not trust the online price, expect additional mandatory dealer "add-ons" that significantly increase the final price of the car. This includes used vehicles that probably received little to no actual work to justify the high cost. When I asked what the add-ons were that I was being charged for, the salesman couldn't give a straight answer. I don't like their sales tactics at all, it's very dishonest to advertise a lower price knowing that you'll add $1,000s right after the customer looks at the car. This place is awful! Stay away. They had a used truck advertised for sale. We called to confirm it was still on the lot before making the 1 hour round trip drive out to the dealership. When we got there, it took quite a while for us to get to test drive it. We finally walked out into the parking lot to find our salesperson, Elizabeth, to find out what was going on. We were told that the truck had a lock on and it wouldn't go in reverse. They would need to put it into service and then we'd be able to test drive it. Elizabeth promised to call and let us know when it was fixed. She offered to have someone drive it out to us for a test drive. My son had to follow up three times with Elizabeth to find out if the truck was ok and ready for a test drive. Then, they changed their mind about driving it to us for a test drive. SO, we took another drive out there after being told that it should be ready to test drive. Elizabeth was out that day and someone else went to go get the car. We waited for over 30 minutes for them to get the truck and eventually had to ask three different people to help us find the truck for our test drive. FINALLY a guy pulls the truck up and tells us that it is almost out of gas but we can take it for a test drive but DON'T PUT IT IN PARK OR REVERSE. Just drive around the block and when we come back we should leave it in neutral. REALLY? WE SHOULD TEST DRIVE A CAR THAT DOESN'T GO IN REVERSE OR GO INTO PARK?? I don't think so!!! The advertised price of their vehicles are deceiving because when you sit down to go over numbers you will notice a $3,500.00 "reconditioning fee" that they add to the price. Beware of purchasing an MPP extended warranty from Texas Nissan of Grapevine! We live in McKinney and were repeatedly assured by the Grapevine Nissan rep that the "no out of pocket" extended warranty included their "sister" store in McKinney with the exception of Zactec. This proved to be incorrect and a gross misrepresentation of the truth. The zero out of pocket cost warranty is only honored at the Grapevine location and all other locations require a $100 fee per claim. When I contacted a Grapevine Nissan manager he responded that the people who sold us the extended warranty no longer were employed there which I guess relinquishes Grapevine Nissan from culpability in the matter; then he offered to SELL me a new car; what the hell! read more

Imagine my surprise when I come to complain about a scam that Texas Nissan perpetrated on my son, AND THEIR REVIEWS ARE ALREADY IN THE TOILET!!! These people have no integrity at all! They pulled the Forced Extended Warranty scam on my son, telling him he couldn't buy the car without it. Aside from him having a 730 credit score, no lender requires this, it has nothing to do with your creditworthiness, and if you are concerned about him affording the car, how is adding more to the price going to insure someone can make the payments? This is a scam as explained all over the internet. When I contact Texas Nissan to discuss this, they tell me we can call the lender to have it removed. WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO BEGIN WITH?? The entire sale was handled poorly, starting with salesman named Eli telling my son they would negotiate on the car if he drove over an hour to their location to discuss it, and then telling him the price was firm when he arrived. He managed to get the price down by total of $4000, but not without adding an unwanted extended warranty and forcing him to accept this. I want to punch the people involved there and give them a piece of my mind. But, in this day and age, reviews hurt more than fists. The only problem is, these people have such poor integrity from conducting themselves as sub-humans, I don't think reviews can get any worse. HOW DO YOU PEOPLE EVEN SLEEP AT NIGHT? Worst experience ever! I went to Texas Nissan on Saturday, August 3, 2019 to look at a car they had advertised online, hoping it would be a good commuter car for my teenage daughter. I emailed with Isaias Hernandez to set up a time to see the Ford Fiesta. I made the drive from Duncanville to Grapevine thinking this was going to be a good, easy experience. We arrived and sat down with Isaias and he wanted to discuss price before we even saw the car. I told him I was prepared to walk out with a car and pay $7,000 cash. He pulled the Fiesta around and it was disgusting. I didn't even get into the car - it smelled like an ashtray and had cigarette burns on the passenger door and a hole worn in the floorboard by the gas pedal. I refused to get in the car and should have just left. But I had made the drive with my daughters and was hoping to be done shopping, so we stayed. Isaias talked to his manager and then took us to see a 2009 Nissan Altima that had just been traded in 2 days prior. The car looked like it was in great shape - fully loaded, originally purchased at Texas Nissan, almost all service performed there over the 10 years. I drove it and noticed a sound I couldn't put my finger on and mentioned it to Isaias. He suggested it was the tire tread, so I drove it a little further (I don't think he expected me to get on the highway, but I did) then returned to the dealership and dropped my daughters off and suggested Isaias drive the car to see if he could figure out what I was hearing. Again, probably tire tread. We went inside and started the negotiation process. I had told him I was ready to spend $7,000, so I was surprised when he returned with a sheet showing the out-the-door price of $9,300!! I told him I was definitely not paying that. I had looked up the Kelly Blue Book value of the car and we agreed on a price. I ended up with $7,700 out-the-door, which was more than I wanted to spend, but I felt like it was a good car and had been well-maintained. The finance guy offered extended warranty packages on the car, which I declined until he offered to reduce the sales price by $500 and sell me the $700 6-month "bumper-to-bumper" warranty. I bit on that one, but will be cancelling it this week since the car would basically have to explode for it to pay anything. I took the car home that afternoon and got in touch with my own mechanic the next week. He was available on Wednesday to give the car a once-over and found that it needed new tires immediately (they were cracked and in very bad shape), a valve cover gasket, new spark plugs, wheel bearing and an axle boot. The total cost for all repairs was $1,600!! I told him to make the repairs and figured I would contact the dealership with the issues and hopefully recoup some of the cost. I immediately emailed the General Manager (Johnny Cantrell), Used Car Sales Manager (Dave Chappelle), and my sales person (Isaias Hernandez) with the information from my mechanic. I didn't get any response back from any of them. Friday I called the finance department to find out how to cancel the useless warranty and the person that I spoke to seemed to care about my situation and within a few minutes I had a call from Tarek. He asked why I didn't bring the car back to them so they could look at it and do the work - my response was why would I trust them to work on it? They sold me a car with serious problems under the guise of it being a good car! Also, I told him I had already invested a whole day driving to Grapevine and waiting around - I'm a busy lady and didn't have another day to spare fighting with them. I trust my mechanic and he's worked on all of my vehicles for 15 years. I picked the car up on Friday (8/9/19) after the work had been completed and on Monday morning (8/12/19) emailed a copy of the detailed work order to Tarek, as I had said I would. Today is Wednesday (8/14/19) and I didn't hear back from him until I emailed him to ask what the status was. His response was that the car was sold as is and "I will be happy to send you a gift card for like $100 but that's all what I can do since the car is not here." I'm sure the car will be a good, reliable one for my daughter NOW THAT THE PROBLEMS ARE FIXED, but I will NEVER do business with this dealership again and will post this negative review everywhere I can find a place to post it. I have purchased two used cars from Sewell MINI in the last 1.5 years and the experience could not have been more pleasant. Unfortunately, the first car was totaled in a rear-end accident, but the sales person I worked with got me into another car as soon as it became available, and they not only let me take the car to be inspected by my mechanic, they delivered it to him and picked it back up! Awful service. My car had a slow leak. When I brought my car in Ryan told me if it is a loose cap I would not be charged. If it as more a loose cap it would be a $120 diagnostic charge. Upon inspection it was a loose cap and was told since the cap was not a Nissan cap part, they had to charge me $120. I told him not to do anything and I would return it to the place that replaced my oil last time, he then stated no matter what I get charged the fee. read more
