a plate of steak, potatoes, and steak skewers
    Jason M.

Visited this location about three weeks ago and sat at the bar. My food was excellent but my entree came about 2 minutes after my salad and I had to ask for rolls and silverware. Also, my coke was completely flat. Fast forward and this time, I was offered rolls as I was seated. The salad came and then, about 10 minutes later, the entree. The steak was not cooked properly and had no pink at all. It was flavorless and chewy. Strangely, the plate glistened with butter as did the shrimp which had globs of butter on them. The ribs were delicious. I asked for a dry baked potato so I guess they spread the butter all over the plate and shrimp. I actually took a napkin to wipe off the shrimp before eating them. I left more than half the steak uneaten because it was so chewy and flavorless. Sorry, Texas Roadhouse. Not sure what went wrong but neither experience was a good one.

It's not even worth explaining. Just horrible. Worst tasting meat ever. Worst service. The bread and butter was good.

When I took my first bite, both the Mac n cheese and pulled pork were cold. I took my food back up and asked if there was anyway to heat it up. I was told that they didn't have any way to heat it up, but she did give me some more pulled pork that was hot. I tried eating but the food being cold was unappetizing and I didn't care for the flavor of the pulled pork. The texture of the meat was also strange. It was obvious that the food was not made fresh and thrown in a warmer. My husband got a pulled pork platter and while he enjoyed the pulled pork at first, when he got into the middle of his meat, it was slimy and super fatty. The one good part of the meal was the fries, they were actually some of the best fries I've had. Overall, I don't think this place is worth the money ($42 for 2 adults and a kids meal) especially if you're looking for authentic BBQ, this ain't it!

The pulled pork and brisket were extremely dry, the ribs where not fall off the bone, in fact they were extremely tough and chewy, they put brisket in their green beans which make no sense, no added flavor to the green beans, coleslaw was good, Mac n cheese was ordinary, their baked beans are labeled "the best baked beans in the world", not even close

Seasonal selections had so many choices I didn't even look at the main menu. Bread was crunchy on the outside while being soft and hot on the inside. Pesto butter was a nice change up. Scallops were perfectly seared, great texture on the risotto. Can't wait to try another dish!

When the hostess asked me where I wanted to sit, I said someplace cooler. She did a great job of putting me under a ceiling fan. Kudos! My waitress was super helpful. I asked for her favorite cocktail -yes pressure- what she suggested was five stars. I may have ordered a second! The Mayfield sandwich was to have a mustard base. I did not taste that in the least. I asked for mayo which helped the sandwich. The onion rings were the best I had in a long time-yes, I ate them all. The service was great. Who I think mixed the drinks checked on me- that was nice. It was a good restaurant to stop at when in the area.

We didn't know what to expect, especially seeing a few right-leaning shirts at the tables around us. Noticing this place while on a road trip we wanted to try it out. Breakfast was priced at $10.99 on the website. We got two plus one coffee and with tip the bill was about $35. Didn't add up, but ok. I noticed a few comments here about the staff being rude. We didn't experience that. From the cashier to the people serving drinks and picking up plates, they were nice and helpful. The food was ok, not great, but good for the price paid. I mean, from the mountains of food people were putting on their plates I'm a little confused how they make a profit. As a vegetarian and diabetic I had limited choice. If you are a meat eater, about every breakfast meat you can imagine they had, even something called scrapple, which is a regional thing I guess. There was an omelette station too. There was a dessert bar also. My husband -who has a sweet tooth- got a blueberry pie type dessert and could barely eat it because it was too sweet. As a diabetic it was good to see they had sugar free syrup and one sugar free dessert. On the buffet I could only have the eggs, mushrooms and a few house breakfast potatoes- which were quite good. We got there a little after 8:30 a.m. and it wasn't super busy. There was no waiting in line. When we left 45 minutes later, there was a huge line. Overall happy we tried it out. If we lived here we may go back to try out lunch or dinner. This isn't gourmet food, and for the price paid you wouldn't expect it. If you go, enjoy it for what it is.

Did I like everything on the buffet, no, but I did find plenty that I did like. They have a hot bar, a salad bar, a specialty bar, and a bakery bar. Nothing there was terrible, nothing was inedible, as some reviews have hinted. Some I liked better than others and In fact I'd go as far to say it's probably one of the better buffets in the area. For all you can eat, the price was very reasonable. If you can't find enough good food that you like to eat here, you are way too uppity to be eating at a buffet. I'd definitely go back, and soon.
