The best steaks, ribs and burgers. I always make it a point to eat here at least once when I am in Amarillo. Service is great too.

Driving around Texas eating great BBQ and Tyler's Bbq in Amarillo TX is always on my list…read more Tyler's has the charm that is true Texas BBQ. They welcome people here as if everyone is family. They have a large parking lot. They have indoor and outside sitting areas. So the process here is you go through the line and place your order they start with the proteins first then the sides with bread pickles and onions last. They cut and weigh the meats in front of you so you see what you are getting on your tray. You pay at the end and you get your tray of food after a short wait. Saturday is $16.00 a lb Beef Ribs. No hold on the ribs so get there early as the beef ribs are delicious and worth getting in line early for. We got brisket which was a 10/10. We got the beef ribs some to eat there and 1 to bring home to Houston 10/10. We also got the sausage 11/10 it was spicy as we got jalapeño cheddar and the black peppercorn. We also got PORK BELLY WITH BERRY CHIPOTLE which was 10/10. Everything here was delicious and so memorable. They make their own pickles so make sure you get some of the delicious homemade pickles! We tried the potato salad, coleslaw, jalapeño cream corn and the pinto beans. All the sides were good but the cream corn was the best. I highly recommend you make a trip to Tyler's BBQ.

Tyler's Ribs are worth the drive! We left nothing on the bone they were so good. Rich smoke, great…read morecrust, unctuous flavor, moist and tender. Three ribs ordered and devoured. We also had the moist brisket which was outstanding. Pork belly was a smash hit with the distinctive smoke flavor and just right sweetness. The sleeper surprise was the house-made black peppercorn and jalapeno cheese sausage. The staff and service is so friendly and patient with our order. The first time we went to Tyler's was in 2018 when they hit the Texas Monthly To 50 BBQ list. We were pleasantly surprised on this second visit. Tyler moved locations in 2019 to a much larger location with ample parking and good seating capacity. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the wonderful memorabilia on the walls. Bonus is the restrooms were very clean. The coolest part of the trip was meeting up with Tyler Frazer again. In 2018, my wife and I finished visting all 50 TM BBQ joints at Tyler's. When Tyler learned that he was so gracious to invite me for a pit tour. He commemorated that trip with a TM BBQ pin that featured several other pit masters from that issue that I proudly still have. This trip, we got there around 9:00am as we drove in from a BBQ run in Lubbock and were worried that we may be fighting the Route 66 100 year anniversary crowd that had taken over Amarillo. Luckily, we beat the crowd. Though Tyler's doesn't open until 11am, Tyler opened the gate for me to rest at the picnic area and we talked for 5+ minutes even though he had a lot of prep work to do before opening. Later on, he came to our table and talked with us and told stories for another 15 minutes. That alone made the whole experience unforgettable. Bottom line, Tyler Frazer is the GOAT, a Texas BBQ rockstar in my book. He is the epitome of Texas BBQ hospitality and a pioneering voice of celebrating Texas BBQ and small businesses. We always look forward to his reels on Instagram as he welcomes the day with a weather report thoughts for the day from Amarillo. My hats off to you Tyler! Keep up the great work. Looking forward to seeing next time.

It's a fun little spot you wouldn't know about unless you had heard about it from other people or…read morelooked it up. Everyone is so friendly when you walk in and very thoughtful. You order food at the register and then sit down, so when you order a dessert, they can put a little note to serve it to you at the end. Speaking of dessert, that pecan cobbler ala mode smacks! The perfect ending to a delicious meal. The meat is so tender and falls off the bone. You don't need a knife to cut anything. A plastic knife will do the job easily. They say the brisket is the star of the show and I can attest to that. However, the turkey is the runner up. I don't know what they do to that Turkey, but my husband and I might have to grab more to take home with us tomorrow. They were so nice too because we ordered a 1/2 rack of ribs and they ran out, so we got the last of the ribs. The also doubled all our meats! We wound up getting 1/2 a lb of turkey and 1 lb of brisket! We are going to be eating some good sandwiches for the next few days. We definitely plan on coming back the next time we are in Amarillo. If you're in the area, definitely come in and grab a bite! They also have plenty of choices in beer too.

Not only did Pork N Things BBQ not disappoint, they highly impressed!! The food was phenomenal!! The service was solid as well. I was greeted upon entry and shown the ropes per say. I ordered my lunch plate, everything here is a la carte. The brisket sandwich was unbelievably tender and smokey deliciousness!! The bun was super fresh and soft. The ribs are fall off the bone style and taste superb. Brunt ends were really good as well, everything BBQ here was top notch!! The bread pudding was so-so. My only ding, but I was here for the BBQ and left with it too!!! I ordered a half rack of ribs, a pound of chopped brisket and pound of burnt ends to-go...you know what they say, when in Rome!! When they say everything is bigger in Texas, that definitely applies to the ribs here...go ahead order a half rack or a full rack from Pork N Things and find out!! The BBQ sauce here is like candy, it's some of the best I've ever had!! They have regular and spicy, I took as much as I could to go!! I wish I could of took more!! If you're anywhere near Amarillo, Pork N Things is an absolute must try for that Texas BBQ experience!!!

It's just my favorite food!(after Maine lobster, of course ) She said Wesley's had the best bbq in town. Of course, we had to try it. It was quite a way from our hotel. 9 miles, but well worth it! I had the small rib plate. 3 meaty smokey ribs so tender the meat came right off the bone. With the sweet hickory bbq sauce adding just the right flavor, I was sold. The pinto beans were cooked just right. The cole slaw is the type I like, not over mayonnaised and not too sweet. Crunchy cabbage. There were 7 of us, and everyone cleaned their plate! The bonus was a young singer, Nelson mckinney entertained us with his wonderful voice and guitar playing. This is a don't miss place to eat if you are in Amarillo.
