We have been here a couple of times already. On this visit, it was for my love's birthday and we decided to join the waitlist so we can be seated right away and it went smoothly. We got different cuts of steak and started off with the onion blossom which was delicious. We smothered our steaks with sautéed mushrooms and I had a baked potato with mine along with a salad. Everything was cooked to order perfectly. We had a drink and enjoyed our dinner. Service was great considering they were really busy. The place and a cheery vibe and there was a lot if birthday singing which was fitting lol. You have the option to pay your server or pay on the little device they leave at the table. Its a convenient option and nice to have more than one way to get things paid. We had a birthday coupon for free appetizer/side and they applied it with no issues. If you're from Texas, you've most likely been to Texas Roadhouse. I recommend the ribeye! There's usually a wait time-you can put yourself on the waitlist online. We got seated after a few minutes but it took a while (30 min?) for the food to come out-the whole order comes out at the same time. A plus is that they serve you bread rolls with butter-the rolls are warm and a little sweet. Very delicious and you can keep refilling. Got the ribeye with ribs plate. The ribeye is cooked medium-rare, my preferred cook. Ribs fall off the bone making it easy to eat! However, they are lacking a bit of flavor. Plates come with choice of two sides-I got mashed potatoes with gravy and the gravy is sooo delicious! Also corn-it's ok. I was so impressed by the service tonight that I had to come here and express how phenomenal it was. My husband and I were craving a steak without breaking the bank and waiting hours downtown for a reservation. We came in on a bustling dinner rush and were greeted and seated promptly. The host was super sweet and personable. Once seated our waitress came over and didn't miss a beat. Everything was brought out in a timely manner and she checked on us just enough. There was also a manager walking around that saw us eating a blooming onion and without hesitation asked if we wanted ranch. It was as if he took a note right out of "unreasonable hospitality". The steak was also cooked perfectly and everything came out at the perfect temperature. This location is great! There was a wait when we got there on a Sunday night, but we were able to get a table within 10 minutes. Our server was super attentive and came by our table to check in on regularly. The rolls were fresh and hot and delicious as usual. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the server made sure we approved the cook on them when he brought them out. Food was all tasty. The ambiance in the restaurant was what you'd expect from a typical Texas Roadhouse. Very loud, sports games on, bustling waiters, and lots of families and couples on dates. My husband and I love going to this location. A good steak at a great price. And the service here is always top notch. We usually split a 20 ounce ribeye, cooked Pittsburgh style medium rare (charred on outside, perfect inside). This trip, I got an 8 oz NY strip because we had an offer for a free 2nd entree. I got mine rare and it was exactly how I like it. Their chili is also really good. We've had the chicken strips in the past and they are perfectly moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. Now, I've been to a lot of high end, $$$$ priced places, and yes, while they offer top notch items, they also cost top notch dollars. Perfect for a steak night without breaking the bank (or getting food poisoning). Food: Starting off with the unlimited, buttered and delicious bread rolls they serve. Be careful here, as it's easy to get lost in eating 2 or 3 rolls, maybe the whole basket per person! As for the steaks, I've tried the Dallas Filet and the Fort Worth Ribeye, both medium rare and cooked to perfection with a beautiful red interior. Depending on what you like, the Dallas Filet is tender and lean, while the Fort Worth Ribeye is a bit more fatty and juicy. Both are served with two sides of your choice. Ambiance/Service: Lily was our waitress and was quick, efficient, and understood the assignment. She came to us when we needed and made everything fast and easy. As for the ambiance, extremely casual. It's loud, can be packed with children, tons of birthdays, everything is sticky, and is everything you would expect from a Texas Roadhouse. Caitlin who was the tallest girl I've ever seen kept my glass full. No sooner had I drank half of it was she there with refill. And then her little friend Kala or Jay-la kept me fuller than a tick on a hound dog with them rolls. Let me tell you about them rolls. Hot, and that butter. I genuinely love Texas Roadhouse, I've been here a handful of times and this is the first time I've truly enjoyed the cinnamon butter! It's so good and that bread, my goodness, it's a little sweet and it's so fluffy and warm. The steaks are incredible. I had the boneless ribeye smothered in caramelized onions, medium, 14 ounce, it was everything and more. So flavorful and the sides were the perfect complement, Caesar salad and buttered corn. Every steak I've had here is great. Fun fact: Texas Roadhouse is not a Texas gem, it was founded in Indiana. If I could do zero stars I would. While dining at this location I heard three servers discussing how much they hated serving Spanish speaking only tables. I heard multiple comments on the lines of "just give them to someone who speaks Spanish" "I can't understand anything they say" "I don't get paid enough to deal with Spanish speakers" this is racist and sad, especially at this day and age and everything our country is going through. You can literally never go wrong with Texas Roadhouse. If you're lucky, they're playing 90s country hits overhead and on the big screen near the bar. Weekends are SLAMMED due to football so make sure you plan ahead by getting on the waitlist online. Expect a 45+ minute wait but the service is impeccable. Food is always hot and nothing has ever been incorrect during any of our many visits. Waitstaff are friendly. You will need to get there early for parking or park across the street near to the pet store. read more

Reserved a table In advance and got seated 10 minutes after checking in which is normal for a Sunday late afternoon. Got our order in and one person ordered a salad that comes with his meal, took about 20 minutes to get his salad. Next up waiting for our food, 30 minutes pass and we get our food. The table had 5 steaks different cuts and all cooked wrong. Mine is supposed to be medium rare I got medium well, my sister ordered a medium rare filet steak she received a rare steak, sent it back and it was WELL DONE. Tasted like hamburger steak with no gravy and no seasoning as it was charred off the steak, I tried it and couldn't even eat the piece I tried. My friends steak was over cooked as well (I don't remember how he wanted it but he did complain) and my sister's boyfriend steak was overcooked as well. To wrap things up my girlfriends steak was rare and cold on the outside when she ordered a medium rare steak, her entire plate was cold including her shrimp. They sent the plate back and got her same plate back with the same steak everything is warm now but we noticed the shrimp my girlfriend didn't finish (because it was cold) was still on said plate and on top of that her steak is overcooked now. Ask for a manager to ask about the plate having the same shrimp on it but now somewhat hot, she tells us "we probably threw it in the microwave for ya" like it's normal to reheat shrimp in the microwave... that's how you get people sick. My girlfriend after hearing that (who has a sensitive stomach) couldn't eat that plate as a whole after eating two microwaved shrimp before she was told about the microwave. Now she finally gets a steak cooked to medium rare!!! After three send backs of just her steak they finally got it right!! They took off her meal off the tab but still charged for her soda. That was the worst experience at Texas Roadhouse I've ever had. Not to mention said manager was acting like everything was okay and was just a little mistake. The confidence this woman had saying my girlfriends food was reheated in the microwave was horrific, she gave us bad vibes the entire time she was trying to get our order fixed. The restaurant wasn't the cleanest and that included the bathroom which was nice just a bit dirty. read more

I haven't been to a Texas Roadhouse in at least 10 years so I couldn't remember whether it was as good as I remembered, and it absolutely was! We used the online check in before arriving so we probably only waited 10 minutes even though there were a ton of people. Very handy! The rolls! The honey butter! Speaking of rolls, they had to roll me out of that place, I was so full. Salad - typical side salad, good but not meaty enough Steak - cooked medium and still had some pink and it was a really great steak, especially for the inexpensive price. The ribs - I could only eat a couple because I was getting too full, but they were really good too. Baked potato - I could only eat a bit of it because I had too many rolls with honey butter at the beginning. The only down side is the margarita was super weak, I couldn't taste any alcohol in it, but it did taste good going down and I think it was only $7.50 so I can't complain that much. Overall it was a great dinner and a great price, I only wish there was one closer to home so we could go more often. read more

This place was packed on a Friday night. We arrived at 5pm and there was a 30 minute wait. I have to hand it to them, it was still a 45 minute wait an hour and a half later when we were done. They really know have to handle high volume. We had several different entrees and they were all good. Not outstanding but pretty good. Their prices are really good. 4 of us ate and had soft drinks and an appetizer and we were out for under $100. Not bad now days. What I didn't like was my baked sweet potato did not have butter on it as requested. All of us ran out of our drinks and they were not refilled until our waitress brought us our check. The waitress, I know she was busy, but did not give us the attention we get at other places. I do not remember her checking back once. I was at the Texas Roadhouse in SouthPark Meadows. My son and I sat down and were waiting for our server. It wasn't too long, like 3-4 mins. A server walked up to our table and told us our waiter was busy, but he would be able to get our drink order in and get that part of our meal started, so we didn't have to wait any longer. That is outstanding customer service. That is being aware of what is going on in your workplace. That is so unselfish, putting the customer first. I was God smacked. I guess i need to start going to better restaurants. I've never seen a waiter help another co-worker out like that. Food is great, prices fair, service times are pretty quick But these folks really bust their tails for you. Plus, I had 2 different people tell me goodbye on the way out!!! So awesome! This is the consistently well done family meal place! My whole family always agrees to meet here for holidays. The service is fast (for an extremely busy place) and I highly recommend downloading the app and doing the call ahead seating option (although I am Not sure if that's what it's called). No matter how busy it is we get seated pretty quickly using the app. Hands down this is the best side salad in town and tasty, fresh dressings. For about $5 you get a large salad with hard boiled egg and cheese (so you'll get some protein) and two fresh rolls with fresh whipped cinnamon butter! You won't get this lettuce quality from an HEB salad. I always order the grilled chicken platter which is very large and the loaded baked potato and sweet potato (which is basically dessert). I normally avoid reviewing a chain restaurant but this location of Texas Roadhouse is a special case. Last Veterans Day this location offered vouchers to veterans in lieu of a meal. This COVID inspired decision is probably the coolest of all Veterans Day offers since most are only good on one day. This voucher gave you until June to use. So, I decided to go and take advantage of my voucher. I arrived to see a surprise above the door. The owner of this location is none other than Willie Nelson. THE Willie Nelson. If there is one thing I know about about Willie it is that if his name is on a business that business is going to be good. He doesn't lend his name to subpar ventures. So, taking note of that I walked in and was seated. I ordered the shrimp appetizer, chicken fried steak main with a baked potato and a caesar salad. Everything that appeared on my table was good, hot, flavorful, well portioned, and memorable. The service, from front door to my exit, was excellent. Although I am sad that there are no more unlimited peanuts... at least the unlimited rolls make up for it! My extended family loves eating at Texas Roadhouse, it gives them the all in one All-American experience with the country styled interior, football on tv, and massive steaks and beers. And oddly enough, I find myself enjoying it every time I go too. My go-to has been the Rib-Eye with Loaded Baked Potatoes and a House Salad. I used to love the combo with the Sirloin and Grilled Shrimp because of the VALUE but the Ribeye was just so tender and delicious that I succumbed. Service is always phenomenal here!! The servers and hosts are so beyond nice even with incessant questions about when our wait was over. Always a smile when asked for extra rolls, drink refills, and their recommendations on food. Super pleasant experience all around once you are seated! The only thing that just hurts is the wait time and the reservation system. We waited around 2 hours and there just isn't much room for accommodation to speed up the wait time.
