Since I was in the plaza for a neighboring business, I decided to order takeout here. I ordered the bloomin fried chicken with mashed potatoes, seasoned rice, and asparagus. You actually get to pick two sides, but I added a third. You will also get the complementary bread and butter. I was pleased with how everything was packaged. The bloomin sauce came in its own container so as it wouldn't get soggy. The rice and mashed potatoes came in their own container. The asparagus came wrapped In tinfoil so as butter wouldn't drip everywhere. I found everything yummy. The bloomin sauce with the chicken was ok but I was fine with it on its own. I appreciate the soft whipped butter for the bread, making it easily spreadable. The rice and mashed potatoes were good. The asparagus just the perfect amount of tender. I have no complaints of this. They even have their own take outdoor, and before I even got out of my car, a staff member came to me for my name. He went and checked on my order and told me they are packing it up now. Receiving a gift card to Outback Steakhouse prompted us to pay them a visit. We went for lunch and the place wasn't that busy. We were promptly seated & quickly greeted by our server. I ordered from the lunch menu. I got the Bloomin chicken with a baked sweet potatoes minus the brown sugar butter. My husband ordered the Outback burger and fries. Went here for lunch. Ordered a burger, fries and an iced tea. The server asked me how I want my burger cooked. I requested medium rare. Of course it came out medium at best. I don't know why they even ask how people want it. They aren't going to cook it any other way but medium to medium well. The other issue was that the meat had absolutely no flavor. No salt, no pepper, nothing. The toppings didn't make up for the bland meat, not even the bacon. The fries were average and the iced tea was so watered down it barely had any tea flavor. Tried the smokey cinnamon old-fashioned. The first sip was STRONG, even though I stirred it. It's served with one giant ice cube and the server presents it covered and then uncaps the drink and wafts the smoke up to you at the table. Once the ice cube diluted it, it was a decent drink. Just not a Wisconsin Old-fashioned by any stretch of the imagination. I had the Seared Peppered Ahi, wonderful! My friend had the Melbourne steak, fabulous! The server was super friendly and knew he his stuff, even though he hadn't worked there too long. It was a little hard to find, there is only a small sandwich board out front. This was our first visit to the Outback Steakhouse on NF Blvd. We are not steakhouse people, but were pleasantly surprised. When checking online for a lunch spot in the area, I discovered other menu selections besides steak. We were not disappointed. My hubby was very pleased with his caesar salad and Alice Springs chicken. I really liked my upgraded cobb side salad and chicken fingers with honey mustard. Both side salads were huge and we also received a small loaf of delicious brown bread with butter. Taylor gave us very good service and brought us containers for our leftovers, which were enough for another meal! We got an bloomin onion which was over fried and dripping in grease. For my main I got a steak with side of rice and fries. The rice was horribly undercooked. I asked for it to be redone and the redone version was still undercooked. My steak was cooked well but the flavor of it was just appalling. The seasoning was almost fishy tasting. My partner's steak was under cooked nearly raw looking. The most outrageous thing was the price. For two drinks, an app and the entrees it was almost 100 bucks. My wife and I ate here on 2/19/26. We eaten here a number times before. This time not so good. I had pasta with chicken and shrimp. My wife had salmon and bake potato. My pasta was warm at best. My wife's bake potato was the same. The manager come and took mine back. He told me they micro waved it. He admitted it's not the preferred way. Well he was right, the pasta tasted like leftovers. The service was excellent and I really appreciated the patience of our waitress with our foodie-loving but clumsy 9 month old. (we cleaned up the most we could) Food was okay. We came here last night for dinner to celebrate Australia Day. Unfortunately, the restaurant does nothing special to commemorate the official national day of Australia. Our server, Terry, was very efficient, and was at our table taking our order once we had time to look over the menu. A warm loaf of honey wheat bread was delivered to our table with soft, whipped butter soon after placing our order. When our salads arrived, I noticed that they are now serving bagged iceberg lettuce, which was disappointing. When our entrees arrived, I cut into my fillet to find that it was well done, rather than medium rare, which was ordered. Terry quickly took the steak back, and a new one was delivered within 10 minutes. While the rest of my group was happily enjoying their entrees, I was waiting for my steak to be prepared properly. When talking to the "manager" about it he was so rude and recommended it was a great teaching moment for his staff but we were out of luck. Their drivers are polite. The food has been good every time we've ordered, arrived warm/hot, and our orders have been accurate. French onion soup had a weird taste to it The burger came next .. small for $12.99 and again very greasy The one thing that we thought odd, no we didn't ask, but on the menu it says burger comes with fries and you can add a cup of soup. We did do that but received no fries by then we had enough grease and didn't bother. Also I am unsure but there was another gentleman that brought out the appetizer, soup, then burger. I'm not a huge fan of chain restaurants but this time I was impressed. This location of Outback has service during the pandemic down pat! My husband was starving so we decided to order food. He's a meat and potatoes kinda guy so he suggested steak. I went to Outback's website, placed the order, and then drove over to pick it up. I was a little surprised that being a Monday there was a line through the parking lot. But it was 6pm after all. I was immediately impressed with how efficient they handled business. They got all of us in and out of there quickly and politely. And all with a smile (behind the mask)! Someone comes up to your vehicle, you tell them the name on the order that you're there to pick up, and if you didn't pay online or over the phone when you placed the order they take your payment method. They go in, ring it up, and bring you out your food. You get your change or credit card slip and they even put the order in your vehicle for you. When I got it home it was all packaged neatly, no spills, and it was still warm. I had a Victoria's Filet with a baked potato and steamed broccoli, and my husband had a boneless ribeye with double mashed potatoes. The two pieces of meat were cooked perfectly. So flavorful and We also shared a Blooming Onion and he got a piece of cheesecake with raspberry sauce and I got a piece of carrot cake. We will have to eat that stuff later. We are stuffed!!
