Extremely disappointed went this evening on February 28th with my family imagine the feeling of going with two young boys & the restaurants tells you there's No peanuts....wow if that wasn't enough we waited about 15-20 mins for the bread, seriously with two boys sitting there patiently or at least trying, with no peanuts (which we all look forward to that) and top it off no bread!!!! My husband had to get up himself to check on the bread at the front (at this point our youngest) wanted to leave, which I regret, wish we did but my oldest want to eat here. Nevertheless they wouldn't accept our $5 coupon which we got due to the amount of GC's we purchased during the holidays, the restaurant gave several $5 coupons depending on the amount of GC dollar. We will not be returning, I'll give the $5 coupon to a co-worker after I tell her & others how dissatisfying my experience was. All seven of us were very impressed with our waitress MARY. The food was great. Appetizers came out fast. All of the steaks and Burger were cooked at the correct temperature they were asked to be. Again Mary did a great job!! read more

I would not recommend this restaurant. The music was so loud that you could not even have a conversation across the table. The food was extremely salty...it took hours to get the salty taste out of my mouth. The tables are so packed in that We were crammed into the back of the next table. Just an unpleasant experience overall. read more

At first our steaks always came just as we ordered. The last three visits has to return our steaks -not cooked as ordered. Place is so busy and long wait to be seated and served. The last time we let manager know that it was the third time we ate there and has to return our steak. All she said was "really, I'm so sorry about that". That was all and walked away. Heck even outback gave us free coupons and picked up our tab when we had bad service with them. We were not looking for any freebies but geeez! Really! Sorry about that! See y'all! read more

My family and I had a great time last night! We came in a group of 8 and the waitress was very attentive and polite. I wish I remember her name, but thank you for your services. We ordered mostly steak and she brought out the steaks that were medium first just as we asked. The margaritas were great as well. Thank you! read more

I took my daughter out to lunch today at the Clermont location. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience. I ordered the ribs and ribeye combo, and my steak came out well done after I ordered it mid rare. I was unable to send it back because my server never came back to the table. I finally had to stop another server, and she took my whole plate away instead of just taking the steak. The table behind me had to stop the same server because there food was wrong too. 5 minutes later she comes back and asks if they are getting it sorted. I still haven't seen my server or the manager at this point so I tell her I'm not sure what's going on. The other server pulls a manager aside who comes up to the table and says.... "So you wanted us to re cook that?"... I believe her name is Theresa, but I could be wrong. She comped my meal which was nice, but when I finally got my food it was just the steak and no ribs. She must have known because she scurried away from the table as fast as possible. Then my server finally shows up, and apologized profusely and says she had been in the restroom. I tell the server they forgot my ribs and she runs off to get more. I took the meal to go because I was no longer hungry. Then I get home to find that the steak had only been seared on the outside, is completely rare, and probably the worst cut of meat they could find in the kitchen... Thankfully I didn't have to pay for it, and my daughters meal was fine, but we definitely WONT be going back. I was a server at TRH several years ago in NC, so I don't know if this location sucks or the company has gone down hill. Either way, enter at your own risk. read more

Well, this is about the 5th time I've tried this location since it opened...The first two times it was just ok. The food was over salted the last two. So between each time I wait a while thinking that maybe it was just the cook that day and if I give it some time either the food will get better or I will forget enough to give it another try. So today my daughter asked to go there so I decided to take one for the team any try again. I can assure you I will not forget this time and I will not waist anymore time or money in this restaurant. I ordered a medium well hamburger that I thought would be simple enough..Nope, came out less than medium rare..and it was 3:30 in the afternoon, not rush hour, and I waited plenty of time for them to cook this. By the time they would take to make another, everyone else would be finished. Next time I will take the extra 10 minutes to drive down to Hurricane Grill ... read more

After having two terrible service experiences at this Texas Roadhouse, my wife gave a negative review on their Facebook page back on 3/2/15. Several days later she was contacted by Paul Russell, a managing partner. My wife called Paul, as he requested, and he was very apologetic and offered my wife two VIP coupons to be used for two separate return visits which she accepted. Paul advised my wife that upon our return visit, she should ask for him or another manager named, Tricia (spelling may be wrong) to make sure we were taken care of. On 4/23/15, we invited one of the couples that were with us during one of the two previous negative experiences and we returned to the restaurant for what we thought would be a VIP experience. Well not only didn't we get the VIP treatment, but this time was even worse than the two previous times! We arrived at the restaurant for our 6:30 PM 'call ahead' and my wife asked the hostess for either Paul or Tricia as instructed by Paul. The hostess said that she would get Tricia, BUT THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Once seated our server, Anne, introduced herself and took our order. She was very professional and friendly as should be expected. I was quickly served my chili side order, but the two salads ordered were never brought. About 15 minutes later Anne came back to our table to advise us that our dinners would be out shortly. At that time Anne was asked what happened to the salads. Anne apologized and said she would check. About 5 minutes later she returned with bad news. She advised us that she accidentally entered our order for the wrong table and that we now had to place our dinner order for the second time. Very annoying! After another 5 minutes or so, a manager named Jim (I believe that was his name) came over to our table to apologize for our order never being put in which was a slightly different story than what Anne gave us. We told him that we were there with Paul's VIP coupon because of our past two bad experiences. He replied, and I'm paraphrasing, 'that's not very good' and he apologized again before leaving us. Several minutes later Anne, our server, brought 3 salads to the table; one of which we never ordered. We refused the unordered salad and began the wait for our newly ordered dinners. About 15 minutes later just before our dinners were brought, Anne returned to our table to advise my wife that they ran out of sweet potato sides and asked my wife to reorder a different one. Finally, our dinners arrived, but the hits just kept coming. My wife never received her second side order. After several minutes passed trying to get our server's attention, a member of our party had to get up from the table to advise Anne about the missed side order which was eventually served. On subsequent visits to our table, Anne was clearly embarrassed. She no longer made eye contact with any member of our party. Yikes!!!! Guess these guys can't get it right or maybe they just don't like us. Well they now have lost 6 customers (us and the two other couples involved in this restaurant's previous mess ups). I was a customer service training manager for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the U.S. and in my expert opinion, Texas Roadhouse of Clermont has a seriously flawed employee training program. We still have another VIP coupon which will NEVER be used. Three strikes and your out! Thanks for another terrible dinning experience! Longhorn or Outback here we come. read more

After seeing my review a manager contacted me and sent me a 30$ gift certificate and asked me to give them another try, she was very nice so we did, well I have to say we prob wont be back in the near future. the prime rib was overcooked and she said the kitchen manager cut into a new one but there was no med rare only med- med well, who doesn't have med rare prime rib?( It wouldn't of been a big deal except the only reason we were there was because they messed up our last dinner) I've never been to a restaurant that serves prime rib but only has med well or well done???? its a shame because we loved them until all this happened, I don't know what happened to them, they used to be really good and I am sad because Clermont dose not have a lot of good places, hopefully it was just a bad day there and it will go back the way it was when they first opened, I would like to see them get it together read more

We arrived at 4:30 pm were seated immediately and bread brought quickly. Beer was cold but it was a $5/bottle corona. I ordered a combo Sirloin and ribs with a side of chili and fries. Everything was great until the food arrived. It was so salty I couldn't hardly eat it. My daughter ordered a burger also way over salted. Everything afterwards was just salt in my mouth. The service was however quick and friendly but I don't think I could hack another round of salt like that and for the price it wasn't worth it. My bill for 3 people with a tip was over $72.00..and my wife and daughter got burgers not steaks. They got soda and Ice tea and I had two beers, we did opt for the cactus flower which is a blooming onion knock off. Good gravy that was a pricey meal to have turned out so badly. The cook needs to learn how to season food. My steak was away over done as I ordered it rare it was well done instead. Had it been less busy I would have sent it all back but time was a factor and we needed to eat and get on our way. read more

Let me just say that not ALL Texas Roadhouse restaurants have the issues that this Clermont location does. I've eaten at others and have had perfect service and food. For starters --- their cooks need to MASTER meat temps!!! They are pushing steaks like crazy and have no clue how to temp them!! It's a serious problem. EVERY time I have gone (5+ times) -- they manage to screw up the temp. All I ask for is a MEDIUM steak. I've had everything but medium --- rare, ultra well done. It's disappointing. I truly love this restaurant, but the staff here are poorly trained. I have no clue how they train them to cook meats, but they seriously need to figure it out. The most recent time I went, the manager was personally going around tables to ask if the steaks had the right temp as requested --- this is CLEARLY an issue in this restaurant. Somebody please figure out how to train the cooks how to temp a steak.....that'd be great. read more
