Sirloin with mushrooms and onions and a side of baked potato
    Jonathan B.

The food was excellent as always whenever I come to Texas Roadhouse! My favorite items to get are either the New York Strip or the rack of ribs with a side of baked potato and Caesar salad. The complimentary bread is always so soft and warm, and the butter is to die for! The service was very good when we went. The waitress was always checking up on us and making sure to see if we needed anything. The ambiance looked like you were in the wild west, so I loved the theme of it. There's usually alot of people at this location, so we usually get on the waitlist through our phone.

It had been a while since my last visit to Texas Roadhouse, and I'm glad I decided to stop back in. Right away, I was reminded why this place has such a loyal following. The service was just as strong as I remembered..., friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without feeling over the top. The food absolutely delivered. The steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it..., perfect temperature, great flavor, and tender throughout. The pork chops were just as impressive..., juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly prepared with care. You can tell they take pride in getting the basics right. Another big plus: the pricing is still very reasonable for the quality you're getting, which is becoming harder to find these days. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. If you haven't been in a while like me, it's definitely worth another visit.

My family and I went to this location on a weekend and boy it was packed, very great atmosphere, and the people were nice. I the other other hand was a different story. It wasn't bad, the seasoning was perfect on all of our food, but it wasn't prepared right. I paid $38 for a porter house steak, I wanted med-rare and I got med-well. My wife ordered ribs and she said it tasted great, but there wasn't enough bbq sauce, and when we asked for more sauce the lady completely forgot about it until my wife was pretty much finished with it. We weren't upset, it was very busy, but that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5

It's been some years since we have been to a Texas Roadhouse. We utilized the waitlist option online for a busy Friday night. We didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes after we arrived. Food was mostly great but the sirloin and strip steak were on the drier side. My daughter liked the country fried steak. The mac and cheese were just okay according to my kids. Our waitress only checked in on us twice during the whole meal but it wasn't really during. Overall our visit was okay, but I we were not blown away.

Hey fellow Yelp users! I have gone to Texas Roadhouse about 3-4 times at this point and this place NEVER disappoints. Everything from the food, drinks, customer service, vibes of the establishment, is just amazing all around. Customer Service: The servers I've had have all been really friendly and attentive. I rarely had to ask for a refill and would automatically give me one which is awesome. One server that stood out to me at the Countryside, IL location is Genesis M. He went above and beyond and this was my family's first time ever trying Texas Roadhouse. Genesis deserves a raise immediately! We will definitely be coming back! : Food/Drinks: My go-to order is a wild strawberry lemonade as my drink , an order of rattlesnake bites (similar to jalapeño poppers), & an 8 oz steak (cooked: medium) w/ 2 sides. For both of my sides, I usually get 2 orders of loaded mashed potatoes. It cost extra to make any form of potato they serve loaded, but so worth it in my opinion. Atmosphere: I enjoy coming to Texas Roadhouse as I feel immersed and feel like I'm in Texas even though I have never been to Texas yet. They only play country music and have various decor throughout the restaurant. Mobile App: To save you the time and energy from potentially having to wait a while just to eat at Texas Roadhouse since I'd say it's a popular place to eat at, I highly recommend downloading Texas Roadhouse's mobile app and joining their waitlist. Overall Experience: Overall, I always have a great time and experience at Texas Roadhouse. I highly recommend this place in case you have not been to a Texas Roadhouse yet and craving some good steak. The honey cinnamon butter with the rolls are to die for. The portions are huge like I can never finish my food at the restaurant and the prices are much more affordable in comparison to steakhouses like Longhorn or Outback. I hope this review helps Texas Roadhouse in the Countryside, IL location, Texas Roadhouse in general, & its current and future customers. Have an amazing day!

One of my favorite places to get dinner! I'm so glad I live 15 minutes from it. It's got a whole kitchsy vibe very Route 66 country. I dig it! They also give you a free bag peanuts. Very good snack! We always get some sort of steak or burger. It really hits the spot! They have cooked my meat to the right temp every time. We are big fans of their country gravy and brown gravy. The cinnamon butter with the rolls is to die for. The servers are always nice, too!

I'm giving this location 3 stars because we had the BEST SERVER. Went here for dinner after a graduation. The server was very attentive and had great customer service. Besides the rolls the food was subpar. The fried pickles were very salty. I did enjoy my ribs and baked sweet potato. The green beans were well seasoned and my steak was juicy. It wasn't horrible, but I have been to other locations that everything was well seasoned and tasted delicious.

I went for the big ol' brownie but ended up with the whole shabang. Food was delicious, my server Leah was great. It was a very busy Wednesday night and more noisy than usual but it was still a nice experience.

Considering my uncertainty about whether I truly craved meat or simply desired a visit due to my prolonged absence, we nonetheless came. I opted for a boneless pork chop accompanied by a peppercorn gravy. The mashed potatoes, also with gravy on the side, perfectly satisfied my craving. The gravy, in particular, was quite good. The fried pickles were a pleasant surprise, as I am typically particular about pickles. However, these were undeniably enjoyable, boasting a satisfying crunch and excellent seasoning. I appreciate their decision to discontinue the practice of throwing peanuts on the floor, a positive change regarding hygiene, in my eyes. The complimentary peanuts remain a welcome addition. However, their fried pickles are a must-try - and I reiterate this point intentionally; they are truly exceptional. In all honesty, I believe you would enjoy dining here. I encourage you to try it and remember to tip. My only suggestion is that all blinds were closed and it was dark! I couldn't even see the menu under the red lights.

Come for the Honey Butter Rolls, stay for dinner. Portions are huge and prices very reasonable. For how busy they are service was outstanding and refilled rolls without us asking. They have so much more than just steaks. Recommend there wait list during prime weekend hours to avoid waiting

    Sirloin steak with mushrooms

The rolls were on point as always and our server was very quick with refilling them. My daughter enjoyed the chicken strips and fries. When it came to the steaks one was excellent and the other was a little on the tough side with in edible gristle in the middle. Besides that one steak it was a great experience.

We waited 25 minutes but during that time could see there was one waitress for one section and bartender had 2 tables in his area. It took about 8 minutes before our server addressed us, we were watching her run all around, so we were understanding. We ordered our drinks and the classic combo appetizer. Sophie came back and told us they were out of mozzerella sticks and the watermelon drink my Grandma ordered, also not available. Ok, she ordered something else and then chose more quesadillas to substitute the mozzarella sticks. When it was time to order our entrees, we were informed they also were out of broccoli. At this point it was a little frustrating now, long wait and 3 items not available. We got our appetizer and the boneless chicken wings didn't even taste like chicken. I'm not sure if they put it back in the fryer to reheat it, but it was disgusting, didn't even taste like food, cut it open and showed the waitress, pic attached. She said she could only bring out 5 new ones. At this point I didn't want to eat that so it got taken home. Sophie was great for being the only server and running around like a chicken with their head cut off but I have never experienced anything like this before. Applebees is one of our usual spots for the location and great burgers but this time we were very disappointed. Also, also the women's bathroom was gross, the floor sticky and I could tell it hasn't been cleaned in awhile.

The restaurant has a classic old-school Italian supper club vibe. The staff is very friendly, and the owner, Joe, is almost always there greeting guests with a warm smile and a handshake, which adds a nice personal touch. We sat at the bar and were immediately acknowledged by Gia, who has served us before and always provides great service. She took our drink order and returned shortly afterward to take our food order. My wife ordered a 9" thin crust pizza topped with cheese, sausage, tomatoes, green peppers, and mushrooms. She said it was one of the best pizzas she has ever had. The crust was thin and crispy without being overcooked, and all of the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I started with the fried smelt appetizer. The lightly battered smelts were cooked to a perfect golden brown. The light breading allowed the flavor of the fish to really come through, and the house tartar sauce complemented them nicely. For my entrée, I ordered the corned beef and cabbage dinner special, which is available throughout the month of March. The dinner includes Parker House rolls (which could be a meal in themselves) and a choice of soup or salad. I chose the tomato bisque. The soup was creamy with a rich tomato flavor and small pieces of tomato throughout. It was easily the best tomato bisque I have ever had. The corned beef arrived nicely trimmed and had a great, hearty beef flavor without being dry. It was served with a cabbage wedge and sliced carrots. I appreciated that the vegetables remained slightly firm while still absorbing the flavor from the corned beef. I also requested a side of creamy horseradish sauce, which paired perfectly with the dish. Overall, we had a truly great experience and are already looking forward to our next visit.
