The salad was good except the Italian dressing has more of a honey taste. The mashed potatoes not my favorite real bland but the prime rib was very tender and flavorful. Sitting at the bar waiting for our table and the bartender Jasmine was very friendly and courteous. She made sure we had everything we needed while waiting to be texted. The ambiance here is casual with the Texas settlement vibe. I ended up just sitting at the bar and Jasmine did a great job in providing our service.

6oz Sirloin and Grilled Shrimp with mashed potatoes

Texas Roadhouse serves American cuisine such as hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, chicken, salads, burgers, and sandwiches. There are 3 locations in RI: Cranston, North Smithfield, and Warwick. I've been to the location in Warwick, but this was my first time at Texas Roadhouse in Cranston. On Monday-Friday, they open at 3:00PM and on Saturday and Sunday, they open at 12:00PM. I arrived on a Friday around 3:10PM. There is a big parking lot. Even though it just opened, many tables were occupied already. The hostess seated us and put a basket of the fresh-baked rolls with honey cinnamon butter on the table. Jarred, our server, introduced himself and asked if we've been to Texas Roadhouse before. We said yes, but we've been to another location and we love the rolls. He said he'll keep it coming. The menu has many options. The Texas Size Combos are a great way to try two items at the same time. There is a Grilled BBQ Chicken & ribs or sirloin combo, Chicken Critters (chicken tenders) & ribs or sirloin combo, Sirloin & ribs or grilled shrimp combo, Ribeye & ribs or grilled shrimp combo, and a Filet & ribs or grilled shrimp combo. There are many options for the sides as well. The fresh-baked rolls are always warm, buttery, and so soft. I ordered a Peach Sweet Tea ($3.69) which has unlimited refills. My husband and I shared the basket of golden-fried pickle chips served with cajun horseradish sauce ($7.99). The pickle chips were crispy and had good breading. The cajun horseradish sauce was very good and has a little kick but it is not overpowering. For entree, I had the 6oz Sirloin and Grilled Shrimp ($21.99) which comes with 2 sides. I chose medium (hot pink center) for the temperature and for my sides: Buttered Corn and Mashed Potatoes. There are options to smother your steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions and load the mashed potatoes with butter, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and bacon for an extra fee. I didn't choose to add those on because I don't think it needs it. The sirloin was cooked exactly as described and you can see the pink center. The shrimp was seasoned, grilled, and drizzled with garlic lemon pepper butter. The shrimp was crispy and had very good flavor. The mashed potatoes had some pieces of potato skin and the corn were very good. The portions are generous, substantial, filling, satisfying, and we packed our leftovers. Jarred was very friendly and attentive. Vanessa, the Manager, and Jarred checked in to see how we were doing. We used a 20% off coupon that we received at RI Comic Con last year. At each table, there is a tablet to allow guests to pay their bills directly at their table without waiting for the server to process the credit card. We used it to view the bill, add tips, and pay. Texas Roadhouse is always a great casual spot for a hearty lunch or dinner.

Steaks are always cooked perfectly, Staff are always so friendly and accommodating. The manager came by and asked how was everything going and when we explained a missing item she immediately brought it to us and apologized for any inconvenience. I really love how she introduced herself and made sure we were enjoying our meal. Texas Roadhouse is always a good go to since the food good and vibes are so layback.

Yes. They do have peanuts all over the floor. Dust on everything. We just went in the one in Westland, MI and had to walk straight out.

Everything tastes really fresh here. It has that farm-to-table quality, but in a relaxed, laid-back (but still really pretty) setting. We came for lunch and I loved that they had brunch options too. Once I ordered my soda I took in the ambiance of the bar, new lights, and the rest of the restaurant. It's not a large building but they make every inch count. Now, the reason you're reading this review- THE FOOD. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a Caesar Salad. The chicken (photo below) was perfectly cooked, topped with hot honey, slaw, pickles, and ranch then placed on a soft brioche bun. The meal was reasonably priced as well at $33 which included tip. I will absolutely be back to the Shanty next time I'm in town.

This location is right behind Warwick mall, there's tons of parking all around and it gets pretty busy in there but they accommodate pretty fast. I love that they have a good amount of booths at any given time. But when they have to combine tables together for big parties, it's a little annoying because they're smack in the middle of the restaurant and it can get pretty loud. But otherwise the volume of the restaurant isn't that bad at all. We were greeted very warmly and sat promptly. The first table they sat us at was directly next to the kitchen entry/exit, I asked to be sat somewhere less chaotic, and was warmly told we could and we were moved. The table we were brought to the seats were dirty, so I asked for them to be cleaned, she half cleaned them. I saw stuff still on them, and then they were wet instead of her drying them so I did it with my hand ( not ideal, but also not sitting on a wet booth) . I opened my utensils and my knife had stuff on it, so it's clearly not clean. I asked for a new knife. My waitress apologized and brought another set and said if there was any issues with that she would personally shine a set herself. My server was Kelly, beyond amazing from start to finish. Very attentive, funny and a great server- for sure. They probably earned this review more stars honestly. We ordered the big boy steak, the shrimp and lobster chowder, 2 lobster tails with asparagus and loaded baked potato and we had bread for the table. The food was so delightful. From the tasty chowder to the entree, even the bread was sweet and so good. The food was amazingly delicious- I was shocked. And the price points are actually pretty good. We were shocked to see all of that and we had 2 drinks as well ( Texas margarita and Jack and coke) total without tip all under 100.00 that's amazing for 2 people. The food is so good. The review simply loses starts for the dirty table, booth and the dirty knife, that's so gross- also makes me wonder what else is dirty. But the service and food were very good!

My only sadness about Tavern in the square is that they don't have any type of fried cheese. Sometimes if I'm just grabbing late night cocktails I just want some mozzy sticks to nibble on. However, they do have some really nice apps, in the past, I've had the pretzel, the whipped feta dip and burrata and all have been great. For an entree, I always get the same thing - the Bayou Chicken Pasta. I'm not usually a huge fan of cream sauce and pasta, but I love something with a good kick. This pasta has chicken, corn, tomatoes, slices of some type of green pepper that I think gives it a little bit of heat as well as Cajun spices and Parmesan cheese on top. I usually ask for extra sauce and add Tabasco sauce and it has some great flavor. I've been really impressed by the cocktails here lately. I ventured in February and was made a delicious gin and guava cocktail. I don't know if they have guava anymore, but it was so good and I wish I'd gotten the ingredients. On the menu for Summer is this lovely lavender haze cocktail, but I do not like the citrus cold foam because it's a bit too bitter so I always have that taken off and add a little bit of Club soda instead. I also really like the salted caramel martini, and in the past, if I wanted more lavender or didn't think the salted caramel martini tasted enough like caramel, they have always brought over simple syrup or even a little more of the flavored alcohol to give the drink the intended flavor. I really appreciate that type of service and I've never been nickel and dimmed for that either. The service has always been phenomenal, and I overall like the vibe. It's a really big restaurant and so I've never waited very long to be seated. The bathrooms have always been clean, which is a huge one for me. I definitely will keep this in the rotation, especially when they have a lavender gin.
