I WISH THIS PLACE WAS EVERYWHERE! I will drive out of my way to just go here for dinner and I'm from Minnesota. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The cinnamon butter is probably one of the best things I've ever had. Put the cinnamon butter on top of the warm fresh buns and you will melt eating them. SUCH INCREDIBLE FOOD. First the waitress deserves a ten! I didn't catch her name, but she handled a table of 8 without any issue. Food and drinks arrived in a timely manner without issue. The food was a mixed bag. Those that were starving are everything. Those that were just slightly hungry enjoyed the rolls. Kids chicken tenders and fries went over well. Ribs and chicken had a burnt taste to the BBQ sauce, my 8 yo ate a few fries and some peanuts because of that. Huge steak also tasted burnt and was over cooked. The onion stuff on top was also not good and ruined his appetite for anything else My steak was good, I had no toppings, just simple steak. Potato had black spots and not enough butter/sour cream to eat more than half of it. Salad was enjoyable. 18 yo make ate everything in front of him. 16 yo female are her steak, not her potato mash 13 yo female ate everything but her potato which also had black spots in it and not enough toppings. The onion blossom had mixed reviews. I didn't care for it and thought the dipping sauce tasted powdery and the onion had too much reading that tasted bad. Husband ate a bunch if it. Kids picked at it because they were hungry. They did bring out ice cream for my little guys birthday. But never offered anyone else desert. I had to ask for an additional dish for the other kids. Although the green beans, loaded potato, fries, and salad were okay, our portabella chicken was horrible. Trying to eat it without saying anything to each other, finally I just couldn't, and mentioned to my mother that I couldn't pretend, it was horrible! All I could taste was salt. Literally the worst meal in a very long time. But why 3 stars, because the waitress, Kelsey, was very sweet, and the manager came to talk to us, offered us new meals, my stomach was upset (for hours after as well). So disappointing. My significant other ordered the 20 oz ribeye medium- was rare. Was sent back twice and still not right. Third time came back and pretty sure it was not the same steak but he was over it by then. The lady manager made a comment about him taking it home and cooking it the way he wanted. Really????? So rude! They did take $20.00 off the bill but charged $27.00 for a $25.00 steak which he did not get. We were celebrating our anniversary so was trying to make the best of it. In the area on an annual business trip. This is one of my usual places to eat. On this visit I got right in and was seated, good. I ordered a 16oz ribeye a house salad, fried pickles and cup of decafe. The salad arrives immediately, good. Then the steak arrived 1 minute later, not so good, then the decafe arrived and tasted like it had been on the burner all day really not good, then they kind of almost forgot about the fried pickles. So the salad was fresh, the steak was cooked to perfection and I took the fried pickles to go which did make for a tasty snack later on. Couldn't finish the coffee. To sum this up fast service that needs some better coordination. And if you ask for decafe suggest they make sure it's a fesh pot. Will come back again next year maybe they just had an off night. read more

At Texas Road House in Eau Claire, an appetizer plate had Thousand Island dressing all over the bottom of it, wet and thick and none of us had this dressing. We didn't notice until we stacked the plates to make room for our meal. So disgusting. I we told the waitress and the manager and there was nothing done to make us feel better about it. We also did call ahead seating and had to Wait another 30 minutes past when they told us we'd be seated. read more

Great food but it is way too loud for me. No one should be forced to listen to country pop in that loud of a form. When I drive home I see how packed it always is. I don't get it. Terrible steaks, service, and atmosphere! Two prime ribs, both too tough to consume. Asst manager asked how our meal was, told him and we were more or less chastised for complaining, he actually showed his irritation with us so we called for the manager. This fellow also had an attitude problem but told us we didn't have to pay for the prime rib. He then proceeded to subtract $10 from our $40 bill. I laughed and insisted on paying the entire &40. If two 12 oz prime ribs are worth only $10, I can easily figure out why they were tougher than shoe leather. Terrible place! Take your business anywhere else! read more

We WERE regulars for the longest time until recently. One visit we had the rudest waitress of which when it came time to order I asked for the prime rib and she replied " out of it" . She then walked off without taking my order. Our food orders including the appetizer all came out at once. My wife requested more bread and the waitress passed a basket over the rail with a sour look on her face. We had a pretty good view into the kitchen and noticed her chatting it up all smiles after being so rude. On our way out my wife explained the rude treatment to the manager and she basically defended the waitress. Our next visit was the same they ran out of prime rib at 6:30 PM on a Thursday night. i ordered a chicken caesar salad & the grilled (cut) chicken was RAW in the middle. when i sent it back, they cooked it a little longer & it came back still underdone! and to boot, they put it on top of the SAME salad greens BOTH times. okay, but if this chicken is infected, then so are the salad greens it touched. my seven-year-old daughter can tell you that. how stingy can you be when replacing some romaine is more important to you than a customer's health?! the manager barely apologized & said something about the chicken only looking raw because of the lighting? nope, not buying it! the check came charging full price for the salad. when we said something, the manager only offered to discount it half price. i barely ate any of it because i lost my appetite & frankly was scared of the possibly infected salad greens. needless to say, i lost all respect for the manager. we continue to go back because my children like it there. usually anything that's deep fried tastes like it was cooked in old oil. however, i will say the ranch dressing is probably the best i've ever had, and their side salads are pretty fresh. read more

extremely dissappointed in this visit. Restaurants need to learn how to space courses. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer. Drinks were brought so we thought safe to order the entree. We mentioned to the waitress that we hoped the entree would take awhile. A short time later our appetizer came out with the house salads. We had about three bits of salad and about 1/8 of the app and our food came out. We can't eat as fast as they brought out the food. Ended up taking food home because it started to get cold before we could eat it and we got full too fast. We like to relaxe and enjoy our food, not get rushed out the door for the sake of turn around. read more

We stop here frequently. Service has been pretty good. A couple times we were forgotten, but I attribute that to a rookie mistake or a manager that didn't last long. Its by far the best texas roadhouse i have ever been too! Unlike the one in Lacrosse, The waiters actually bring out your food warm and fresh! Plus the food is very good and allows custom orders!
