My family has enjoyed so many wonderful meals at Texas Roadhouse over the years. Even though it's a chain, this location has always had that neighborhood-family feel. They hire local kids as servers, the staff is always friendly, and those fresh rolls are AMAZING! (Although I'm still a traditionalist when it comes to the butter--no maple for me! ) About a month ago, we were celebrating a family event when the nicest waiter ever told me, "Hey, we're having a smoker giveaway. You might as well use the app and throw your name in the hat. Ya never know!" Well... wouldn't you know it--I got an email on 8/19/2026 from Danielle Hunter saying I WON! Of course, I emailed Danielle back and asked, "Is this a hoax, or is this for real?" She replied, "Nope, not a hoax! You won. Come and get it!" So I showed up with my car, and the friendly Texas Roadhouse staff congratulated me and even helped me load the smoker up. Last night, we finally put that smoker to work--and folks, it works AMAZING! A huge THANK YOU to the entire Texas Roadhouse family for the great meals, the friendly service, and now an awesome smoker that will be making many more family meals for years to come! We recently stopped by Texas Roadhouse during the middle of the week, and surprisingly, it was pretty busy for a Wednesday/Thursday evening. There was a bit of a wait, but nothing too unreasonable. Overall, the experience was fine. Service was okay for the most part, although toward the end of the meal we were trying to track down our waitress because we were missing something and couldn't find her for a while. We eventually got another server's attention and were helped, but it definitely slowed things down. Food-wise, my baked sweet potato was honestly the star of the meal -- absolutely delicious. The salmon tasted fine, but the portion was very small. The strawberry lemonade, however, was not good at all. It didn't really taste like strawberry or lemonade, just kind of watered down and off. I have never been to a Texas Roadhouse! Southern California unfortunately has few and far between. This location is great. As a first timer, the manager came out and greeted our party, welcomed me to the place, handed us an envelope full of coupons and provided a sample plate of toppers and sides. That's unreal, and one of the coolest things I've experienced. I loved my meal (sirloin and grilled chicken combo), and even had an entire dinner taken Togo it was so much food. We go here all the time, staff is great! Taking off one star because of a strange situation that is bugging me. A large beer during happy hour is 3.99, which is great! I ordered a second smaller pint because I didn't want too much more beer and the pint was 5.50. I mentioned it to the bartender but she didn't see the logical dilemma. Would have loved to have had the difference taken off the bill. The rolls today didn't taste as good as usual and the cactus blossom was under seasoned. My friends and I were very excited to try this place after hearing lots of great things! However we noticed that other tables who were seated well after us received their free bread long before we did, which was frustrating. It made us feel overlooked. I really enjoyed my experience with Texas Roadhouse! To start, the ambiance was so lively! I do suggest going a bit early cause you will have to wait a little bit for a table. The food was delicious. They start you with dinner rolls that are made hot and fresh with a side of butter. For the appetizer I had the blooming onion. It's very flavorful and comes with a good sauce that taste similar to horseradish. I got their ribeye (which was cooked beautifully) with the sides of a loaded potato and fresh vegetables. I don't normally review large chain restaurants however this Texas Roadhouse was a pleasant surprise. First the hostess led us to the table and we talked all the way there it was nice not just being directed and seated. When we arrived at the table we were greeted by Ava our amazing server. She made great suggestions all of which were tried. I had a filet and ribs they were cooked and seasoned perfectly and delicious, also tried the shrimp and it was amazing. We were genuinely impressed with our experience at Texas Roadhouse. Our server, Maddie G, was absolutely delightful--attentive without hovering, personable, and completely on top of everything. You could tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it made the whole experience even better. The rolls with the honey cinnamon butter were ah-mazing. The twisted mozzarella sticks delivered the best cheese pull ever and the salmon was perfectly cooked and melt in your mouth good. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised on how tasty/flavorful everything was. We went on a Saturday the weekend for Valentines and it was about 4 PM. It was not crowded yet we were taken to a very small two top table with everybody on our sides. I really should've asked for a different table. That's my only complaint. Our waiter was very nice. He seemed to disappear a lot so I had to ask others for things, but the food was excellent and that was a saving grace and the reason I gave it five stars. The rolls with the honey butter were wonderful. When you walk in and leave, you can see the people making the rolls. I got the house salad with blue cheese and honey mustard on the side dressing. It really is a nice salad. The portions are generous, and the dressings were flavorful. I also ordered the prime rib, medium size not the smallest or not the largest I asked for lean and it was amazing so tasty, especially if you get the creamy horseradish and au ju to dip the meat in. My fiancé got the Caesar salad and the bone in ribeye. He was in heaven, nice size portion for the price. It was his birthday celebration so they were very cute to sing to him. One of the best services we have received. Props to the management. Atmosphere : this is a super popular location, started getting crowded even before the normal dinner time, so does get a bit noisy, we saw long lines out of the door by 5:30 PM. Food: delicious food from the hot fresh rolls, steaks to the sides and the drink drinks. Top shelf margaritas with a kicker has always been my favorite., and the tequila they use are definitely good quality. Service: services were exceptional, i did find the upside down menu on our table to be funny , food came out fast despite how busy they were . our server Riley was courteous, friendly, and very considerate. Came here around 8 PM on Easter Sunday with my mom, and we had a really great experience. Despite it being a holiday evening, we were seated and served immediately. Our server was absolutely wonderful--attentive, friendly, and helpful with suggestions. She made sure our drinks were always refilled and checked in often. Tonight, my family and I went out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. We were a party of six, and several of us ordered steaks. When the food arrived, a different server--not our original one--placed the meals on the table and quickly walked away. Upon cutting into our steaks, we noticed that three were cooked incorrectly. We simply wanted to have them corrected so we could enjoy our meals. A host noticed us looking around and kindly went to find our server. About 15 minutes later, the server returned, took the incorrectly prepared plates, and let us know that the manager would be bringing the new steaks out to check on us. When the manager eventually came to the table, he placed my steak in front of me. My wife politely asked if he could wait a moment to make sure the steak was prepared correctly. He bluntly told her "no," saying he would return when the other steaks were ready. I cut into my steak and found it to be extremely rare--far undercooked. While I had originally ordered it medium rare, the first steak had come out well done, and I didn't want to keep going back and forth or waiting any longer. My daughter and another guest were still waiting on their re-fired meals. When the manager returned, I tried to explain the issue with my steak, but before I could finish a sentence, he cut me off, raising his voice and refusing to let me speak--despite me remaining calm and respectful. He returned with a chart showing steak temperatures and their corresponding doneness, which I found condescending. I told him I had worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years and didn't need a tutorial--I knew what I had ordered, and it still wasn't prepared correctly. He refused to acknowledge the issue and continued to speak over me. By this point, the rest of our table could clearly see how rude, dismissive, and disrespectful his behavior was. We were stunned when he told us we needed to leave, despite the fact that we were still waiting on food and some of us were still eating. There was nothing in our behavior that warranted that kind of aggressive response from management. As someone who has worked in fine dining for 15 years, I have never witnessed a manager behave like this--especially not toward calm, respectful guests. We felt humiliated, degraded, and, honestly, targeted. The only logical conclusion I can draw is that this treatment may have been racially motivated. Our table included both Black and Hispanic guests, and it truly felt like we were profiled from the moment he approached. It seemed like he had already made up his mind about us before we had the chance to speak. I am requesting that this issue be reviewed by Texas Roadhouse's corporate office--not the local management at the Frederick, Maryland location. I would appreciate a follow-up from someone at the corporate level to discuss this experience further. read more

Humiliating, Disrespectful Experience--Possible Discrimination My family and I (party of six, that included two children) had one of the most humiliating and unprofessional dining experiences we've ever encountered at this Texas Roadhouse location. Three of our meals were made incorrectly--either overcooked or undercooked--and when we politely asked for them to be remade, one came back rare, which was not what we ordered. Our server never followed up to check on the food, and we had to flag down another staff member to get help. The manager who came to our table was incredibly dismissive, rude, and completely unwilling to address the issue. He refused to even look at the food, spoke over us repeatedly, and eventually told us to leave the restaurant--even though some of us had already eaten. It was deeply embarrassing, and his behavior caused a scene that other guests clearly noticed, with several choosing to leave. As a family of Hispanic and Black individuals, we couldn't ignore the uncomfortable feeling that our race may have played a role in how we were treated--especially after discovering multiple reviews from other people of color describing similar experiences at this same location. We are long-time customers of Texas Roadhouse and have never been treated this way anywhere else. I have video evidence of the incident and have reached out to corporate, as no guest should ever be treated with such disrespect, disregard, or possible discrimination. I do not recommend this location to anyone--especially if you're a person of color. Completely unacceptable behavior from management and staff. read more

We had a great first time experience here! I wasn't sure what to expect based off all the mixed Yelp reviews and it being a chain, and went for lunch. We usually are not huge fans of chain steakhouses but were pleasantly surprised here with the steaks and service. We thought this location on a Saturday around noon had a better atmosphere and service than some of the other chain steakhouses in the area. As soon as we walked in one of the hostesses asked if we wanted to choose our steaks from the display case. Having watched some videos beforehand we requested fresh cut 28oz bone in ribeyes, no seasoning, skip flat top, only grill with tallow, she needed to ask someone whom I am guessing was a manager who later came to our table to confirm they could accommodate our requests. I was pleasantly surprised as all 3 steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare, not overly charred like we like it (we don't like overly burnt fat/meat/seasoning) and were fairly tender, juicy with good flavor for this price point. We added extra salt and pepper individually at the table. (I might bring our home pepper grinder next time since the the pepper lacked fresh and pungent flavor.) Service here was great with new customer sides/toppings sampler with envelope of future coupons (which we forgot to take after finishing), frequent refills, good frequency checking in without being overbearing, extra bread, extra peanuts. We took our time and had a relaxing and enjoyable lunch. Kids enjoyed the brownie dessert at the end. Had asked my son to take pics but he forgot. We enjoyed our bone-in ribeyes and service here much more than the Longhorn in Frederick that we visited around 6 months ago after not eating at a Longhorn in decades. read more

The burger had a little extra seasoning in it which made it somewhat salty tasting and the steak as always was spot on .... Been to multiple Texas Roadhouses in the state and even in other states. This problem I have here is their seating experience. We put in to be on the waitlist early and arrived, and got checked in. Wasn't told any specific time frame of when there would be an available table. Was told someone would call our name, after 45 minuets no one did. Other staff were looking at us basically asking each other if we had been helped and were told we were basically taken care of. We were only in a party of two. After watching multiple parties of two who were being seated before us after coming in after us we left. A ridiculous seating experience. read more

It's one of my favorite steakhouse chains. It's definitely better than Outback. For one, they have the irresistible honey baked buns, with the tasty butter. Service is always on point. I got the rib eye, and it was cooked to perfection. Service is always great. I just wish they had better side items. Our waitress was great, the restaurant was clean. Ambiance was good, too. Associates are friendly and polite. Prices seem to be average for quality and portions. Restaurant has a bar and Hightower table around bar. Additional booth and table seating.
