A regular come in to this location at least 3 times a week for a quick dinner. Today was not a great visit, server was not into her job or out of it. We asked for extra cheese for our salads and it didn't come till after we had already finished our salads. We ordered one steak medium well with some red it was well done when we got it. The other was supposed to be medium and it came out well done as well. She didn't offer to have them remade the steaks she just apologized and and then continued to ask if we would like a box for our food and that she would bring us our ticket. Sam our server didn't really make this a great experience. In the past a manager would come over and check on the table and today also that didn't happen we had to flag her down to let her know of our experience. Usually very good food. The wait staff are energetic and bubbly. (I personally prefer a little more quiet.) It just about always has a good sized crowd. If you're going at peak hours (lunch and dinner), especially on a holiday like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, or Veteran's Day, you might have to wait in line a bit. The waiters have always been cheerfully willing to accommodate our special requests. We practically always are unable to eat all that is brought to us. Even if I have a single hamburger, it's a bit large, so I get the treat of bringing it home for later consumption. My dog loves left overs. Sometimes I do, too! This is one of those restaurants where we feel comfortable chatting up one of the waiters, or even another customers. Friendly, inviting atmosphere. Some kids really like it. I think that's because the energy of the restaurant and staff matches the even more untrammellable energy of kids. "Sodas" are like sodas in all restaurants now-a-days. Sodas are more sparkled with carbonation than they are sweetened with syrup. That's the cuisine culture now, so I'm not knocking it; just saying that's the way it is, so don't expect something different, and don't complain when you get what they've all been serving for decades now. I am in a family of 10 so it's hard for us to all get together, but we finally were able to & decided on Texas Roadhouse. Which was a huge mistake!! We normally have a great time here individually but our waitress was just terrible! She was super rude & it took about an hour after we got sat to get our food. The table next to us just finished up when we got sat & they sat a new family about 20 minutes after we got there & they received their food first. & the waitress excuse was that "it's a lot easier to put in a 6 table then a 10 table" but that shouldn't matter we got there first so our order should be put in first..? We ordered 5 steaks (handpicked) all medium or medium rare & they all came well done, almost burnt, and one didn't come at all! When we informed the waitress that a whole meal was missing she rolled her eyes at us. I wish I would've gotten pictures!! But we were in such a rush to get out of there because of our waitresses sour attitude. My company ordered us Texas Roadhouse tonight for having to work overnight on Christmas eve. A co-worker went to go pick up the food (for 4 of us) and they originally "lost" the order. The order was online and set for pickup at 7:15pm. Co-worker waited til 8pm for them to re-cook the order and bring it back to Platteville. If I was rating the hostess staff they would get a five but as soon as you walk past the waiting area be prepared for 1 star service. Came here with my family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids), there was 5-10 minute wait but they sat us in about 5 minutes. I don't know if this is just their thing but the music was blaring so loudly the waiter had to take his mask off in order for him to hear us. He offered my kid lemonade only to tell her 2 seconds later that they were actually out, anyone with kids knows how frustrating this is. Additionally, none of the staff were wearing their masks correctly so if you want covid, this is the place for you. I ordered the appetizer combo but it was nasty, there was nothing wrong with it per se (meaning I think that it tasted like it was supposed to) it just was not good. My kids both got ribs and loved them so I guess that's a plus. As we were walking out a busser cut my friend off and almost tripped her. Just an all around bad experience. Will not be returning. Good Eats here! Excellent service right from when you walk in to the end of dinner and warm goodbyes. They offer unlimited dinner rolls and bottomless drinks with fast service when you need it. I usually get side dishes, since I do not eat red meat or that much protein. I been to several ones around the state of Colorado and they are respectfully they serve good quality food.I ordered the salad this time for the first time. Just went to eat with the family for Dad's 81st Birthday. We were a party of 7. Two of us ordered medium fillets. When the meals came out, everything was right except our fillets. They brought us well done sirloins. When we pointed it out to the waitress, she looked at us puzzled. She went to get a "manager" who then came over and looked confused also. I said this isn't a fillet, I won't eat it and I won't pay for it. When the rest of the party was done eating and had boxed up their leftovers, the "manager" finally brought two fillets back to the table. I guess they thought the two of us would sit there and eat while everyone else watched. I refused my steak. They still made me pay $3 for a soda. Really!! About a year ago, we went here for my brother's birthday. We were all excited to eat and hang out with my family [a very big family]. We all order and our whole famy takes up 3 tables pushed together. We wait for about 20 minutes our food hasn't come and my family just thinks "Our family is big. No wonder they're taking a little bit." Oh, did I mention that our wait to get our table was horrendously long! Okay back to when we were waiting for our food. 30 minutes pass. No food. 40 minutes pass. No food. 50 minutes, then we get up to 1 hour and 30 minutes. No food at all. But then we realize that ONE HALF of our table had gotten there food. The other half [the one which I was at] did not get their food. We waited a bit more while the other half of our table is almost done eating. 2 hours and 30 minutes pass. The other half FINALLY gets their food. That wait was outrageously long! It was in May of 2017. My family will never forget this day. The ONLY thing they did for us was give my brother a free dessert. THATS IT. Therefore, the worst service I have ever had. read more

The last time we were here for my sons birthday 3 weeks ago I had the worst steak I've had in my life. We've gone to Texas Roadhouse in Texas for as long as I can remember & have never had bad food. I always order my steak medium but the steak they brought me was very well done, not trying to be difficult I was going to try to eat it anyway, I took a few bites but it was so dry & had no flavor I couldn't get it down & asked the to make me another, so everyone was finished with their meal by the time they brought mine out & I don't really know how to say this but it tasted like they had previously soaked the meat in water? It was terrible & had the consistency of wet sawdust, even the Caesar salad was bad. I don't get it, we won't be back at this location but definitely not giving up on Texas Roadhouse. Cooked a medium-rare steak only too rare and it was cold. It had to be sent back for a properly cooked medium rare and server kept quiet about what all was included on happy hour for drinks. Our favorite go to, on a night out. Always friendly staff call ahead seating helps since Fridays are packed. Fresh rolls given when you seated, oh the peanuts. This is our local go-to place for a good meal at a good value. A steak here doesn't cost you any more than a burger at other comparative places in town, so why not? We've eaten here often from when this TR was first built. We have way more great experiences than mediocre, never a poor experience. David served us. We always love our servers here, but David was extra special, very thoughtful, intuitive. He brought drink refills just at the point that we almost needed them -which is a lot better than having to flag him down and wait. Also, in the 15 (?) years that we have been coming here, we always share a side of mushrooms. They always put the mushrooms on one plate then we scrape off half onto the other plate. David served us mushrooms in a bowl!! It was much easier to share. Why hasn't anyone ever thought of that before? Why have WE never thought of that before?? Great idea - thx David! Whenever I come in here to sit down, the service is friendly and the food comes out right. My recent experiences with to go orders have been another story. Both times when I have places my order it has been repeated back to me perfectly. The first time, my steak was not smothered despite that I had been charged for it. We called the restaurant and were given a free appetizer. We decided to give them another shot, and our experience was worse. The wrong steak was smothered, we were given sour cream instead of butter, the rolls did not have the glaze, and we did not get any cinnamon butter. Really the only thing that came out right was the beans. There aren't that many places to go in Greeley, but Texas Roadhouse is always packed when I go. More than anything, the environment is something different and fun. In the beginning they give you a big bucket of peanuts and some bread rolls which are the best bread rolls I have ever had. I swear they put like crack in it because I can't stop eating them. The bread comes with this buttery cream thing that compliments it perfectly. Ive been there two times. The first time I got bbq chicken and, to be honest, dont remember what it tasted like. I think I thought it was a bit dry. However, the second time around I got a 6oz. filet cooked medium with a sweet potato and steamed veggies. It was cooked perfectly, very tender, juicy, and delicious. The sides were perfect as well. I also got a margarita which just made the whole meal perfect. read more

We have been to this Greeley Texas Roadhouse about 6 times already, and the steak is FABULOUS!! Not only is the service superb and always friendly, but the food is amazing and priced fair! We have been to other locations in Denver, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs, and the service and food were fabulous in those locations as well. I tried the combo - steak and rib plate instead (they had run out of chicken) We were seated after a short wait though the line extended outside - food was prompt, hot, well presented and ample portions. Talk about slow and non caring service this is the place to go.... we waited 45 minutes and still did not get our food, we saw our waiter 3 times!!! Our waitress Ciara was honestly impressive, she was very sweet and although the restaurant was busy she made sure to continually check on us. Our drinks were never empty, and she was super polite.
