So I would like to preface with our server, Alexander, was 10/10. Thats why the starts are so high. With that said, the food was horrible. We love to dine here, and we haven't gone on a date in a long time. So when we were sat we were excited. We ordered snake bites as our appetizer. It came out quick, but too quick. The manager was even the one who brought them out. They were cold to the touch and the cheese was still solid. Then we ordered our food. We got herbed chicken and soup (cold) and i got the road kill steak and salad (literally frozen). My partners chicken was so salty. It was unbearable. We had gone to the one on Santa Fe in Englewood a few years ago and thought it was meh. Steak and other entree were pretty good, but server brought me the wrong side and didn't check back. We never went back. So we were wary when we ended up in Greeley wanting steak and the independent places had been closed and this was what was left for steak. This Texas Road House, however, was really outstanding - kind of hard to tell it was the same chain as the one in Englewood. We had three friendly contacts from the manager, even though it was still busy late into the lunch traffic, around 2PM. We think probably the reason this location is so much better is that excellent manager, who's very friendly and personable and also hires very good servers and makes sure everything is done quickly and right. The food was excellent, and this time, we got exactly what we ordered and the server checked back to make sure we had gotten what we wanted several times. We usually favor independently owned restaurants, but this will be our go-to -place whenever we're in the Greeley area. Wish the one in Englewood were this good. read more

The chicken fried steak hit all the marks. The crust was well-seasoned with just the right amount of crunch, and the meat was tender enough to cut with a fork. The gravy had a nice peppery kick that balanced the richness, and paired with the mashed potatoes it felt like true Southern comfort on a plate. The service was excellent as well. I'm going to review my own meal; The waitress did ok. I ordered a med ribeye steak with shrimp approx $35, it was under cooked and it was totally over salted and spiced, not just the steak and bland shrimp, the fries were over spiced as well. It was loud at 4:30 on a Fri. read more

The food was amazing but they did get two things wrong with it, but it was minor and easy to fix. Jack Applehans(I tbh I k that's how you spell it) was our server and he was amazing and really funny, I would go again just to see him. So my neighbor took me to Texas Roadhouse and we were there at dinner time we decided to sit at the bar just because it's easier for two people than taking up a whole table immediately he ordered a blossom he had a beer and I had a mango margarita they brought us our beverages and never brought our blossom we kept requesting it then he got a salad where the second round of beverages still no blossom so because we kept bringing up the fact that we had ordered it the patron sitting next to us called his miserable people which is not true but when you go to a dinner like that you want what you want finally our meal gets there and we told him and the female bartender hostess person behind the bar continually started dabbing attitude talking to all the other patrons about us we didn't do anything wrong we went there for an experience a blossom everybody loves a blossom I don't understand that lady's issue we've been in the end gave her a $20 cash tip but we were just trying to express that when you get in and you order an appetizer with your drinks appetizers and I've never been treated so bad in my life that female bartender should not be in that position to be treated like that read more

Packed on a Saturday night, confirmation for me that there just aren't that many good restaurants in Greeley. We waited close to 30 mins for our table. Once seated, service was quite pleasant and relatively prompt. Rolls kept coming, and they were tasty. Entrees came out at the same time, and my medium rare sirloin looked and tasted the same as my wife's medium well sirloin. I sent it back, and my replacement was much better. Both of my daughters really like the chicken strips, and having tasted them, I'll agree they're pretty good. Corn, green beans, fries, and mashed potatoes are all very tasty. read more

Why is this place always so crowded? Every single time we have come, the wait has been much longer than we were told, and it is always a very long wait. The front desk folks are snarky and truly don't care. I get that they are busy, but polite and caring goes a long ways. Food and variety has always been great, the servers have always done a good job and it comes to the table in good time. I just do t think it's worth the wait and hassle of parking. read more

To get a table and get seated is a joke. The policies for being seated need attention. In the first place they want to seat you is at the bar. Well excuse me but I don't like being seated at the bar. They can't seat you in any other area because they don't have enough servers so you have to wait 15-20 minutes for servers to get to work. The food was good for a chain. I only had the Caesar salad because I was full just looking at the menu, but I digress. The sale was very good though and the dressing excellent, and believe me, I have had not so tasty Caesar dressing from other chains. We've been eating at Texas Roadhouse restaurants for many years. This one since 2015. I only recently started "picking " my steak. (Not sure what this is? Ask your server on your next visit) so not sure if this has always been the case but the pick your steak, steaks seem to be of a higher quality than the regular menu items. I know they tend to be larger more expensive cuts. We'll anyways, the last several times I've been that's what I've gotten and loved them! This time I added grilled mushrooms & onions. Mmmm...... loved that extra iron! I also got a baked sweet potato and seasonal veggies. The sweet potato was bomb. I had it with just butter. But the seasonal veggies were meh. I don't have pictures for this one, but I just had to post this review. Texas Roadhouse in Greeley really impressed us with their friendliness and excellent service! We stopped in here for a bite kind of spur of the moment after going to UNC to see a jazz performance. I'm not a huge fan of steakhouse food, but my hubs is and a booth and rolls sounded good, lol. I love college towns! The restaurant had plenty of servers. Our waiter and a waitress who delivered our food provided excellent service. I had a replacement soda before the first one was gone and I drink kind of fast. Right after we ordered, a manager came by to check on us and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer for our next visit because it was our first time at the Greeley location. Then a different manager checked on us at the end of our visit. Everyone was just so friendly, but also not in your face. That's a delicate balance that they pulled off with ease. They also have a sliding window to outside for checking in when you arrive. I have never seen that in all of my days! I imagine that is pretty great when there is a long wait, so you don't have to ouch through the crown waiting inside. All around an excellent experience! read more

We hardly ever go out so we wanted the meal to be extra good. I ordered the full rack of ribs, ate less than a third & had enough for several great meals. My husband had the prime rib. I was on a business trip and had only eaten an apple and a banana all day, so I was craving a steak. I enjoyed warm rolls and a legendary margarita while waiting for my main course. I went all in with a filet, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I ordered my steak medium rare. My server, Ethan, made sure I was asking for a barely warm red center. YES! I cut into the gorgeous steak and was disappointed that no juice poured out. Ugh. Medium-well. Ok, I'm disappointed but starving. Hunger is the best cook anyway. The broccoli was perfect. The mashed potatoes were....cold and hard. Ok, now I called Ethan over and asked for fresh potatoes. He was apologetic and embarrassed that my food was sub-par. I got piping hot potatoes in a jiffy and went ahead and ate most of my 6 oz of steak. A manager came over and apologized and offered dessert. I declined dessert but appreciated her efforts. She actually took $15 off my bill and I left a whopping tip for Ethan. The kid did his job well. All in all, my experience here was ok. When I come back to Greeley, I'll be back. read more

Paula Paula Paula! My family and I have had many times where our steaks haven't come out quite how we prefer. I've built a wonderful relationship with the manager Paula. This location is the closest to us as we live in East Greeley. We've never had bad service, and enjoy coming here almost once a week. But let me tell you about my gal Paula, I recently cut the tip of my finger off and was slightly disabled, she came to my table and cut my steak for me, gal always goes above and beyond, and when I feel customer service is going down the drain she has upped hers. Texas Roadhouse as a whole is reliably good, and this location is no exception - we had an excellent visit. I'm a particular fan of their Country Fried Sirloin. Food is consistent, usually really good. I've never had issues with service - waiters and waitresses are friendly and just attentive enough. They wont let kids order steak medium rare, which is odd and irritating for my food-snob-child, but we've figured out a work around (fortunately I prefer chicken critters). Take out during rona has been pretty good. Sure your food isn't exactly hot once you get home, but it's still pretty tasty and they don't skimp on portions. The reason I give them fewer stars is because dining in with a person with a disability is almost impossible. They focused their seating on massive booths and few tables, so if you need a table, the wait is even longer. read more

We went to an early dinner yesterday, there were 6 of us in our group, the restaurant had a good amount of customers but not crowded as there wasn't a wait line and tables were unoccupied around the restaurant, we ordered drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic and of course our food, my bone in rib-eye arrived overcooked, I sent it back and after everyone was done w their food I received my steak I asked for med rare, my steak was nicely charred on the outside and cold and very rare on the inside, I basically packed it up and brought it home to have to recook it myself, very disappointed as I was really looking forward to that steak. 2 of our party left and we ordered more drinks from the bar, it was very rude the way our waitress kept looking at us and asking if we were about done, there was still not a wait line, and we were still spending money, we only stayed about 20 min after she cleared our plates , still talking and buying beer and top shelf shots, she also tried to add on a 30% gratuity to our bill, we didn't say anything to her about her rude behavior, but my daughter in law did change her tip, I probably won't visit the same location again, but my son and his wife are weekly patrons there read more

Although parking is a bit crazy on a Saturday night at 6:30, the call ahead waitlist is a great option so we only ended up waiting for about 20 min. What stood out to us was the service.
