I have visited this restaurant quite a few times and have been meaning to write a review. So my last time as this place was this past Saturday and I had a good time. I gave the restaurant 3 stars because I'm never really impressed with the food. I ordered the chicken critters and the breading on the chicken was weird and damp. The chicken itself was good but the batter it was dipped in was not. I have gotten the cheeseburger here another time and was also not impressed at all. I do, however, love the warm rolls they bring with cinnamon butter. I also loved their cheese fries. I gave 3 stars because the service is always great and the vibe is good. I really wanted to love this place but the food doesn't do it for me. My family however loves this place. My sister got the chicken fried steak and said it was delicious. I recommend at least trying this place once. read more

First time here and it was very busy. The wait was not long, The bread and butter was amazing, our server Shea was awesome but the icing on the cake was Carrie Howard, she walked around over heard it was our first time we was blessed with a sampler platter of the sides which made our select process easier, she deserves a raise for her exceptional customer service, she checked in on us at least 4 or 5 times. My husband wanted to go for his birthday. I ordered the vegetarian plate and asked for a sweet potato which I have ordered for years. The waitress looked at me and said "you know they are cooked with bacon fat, right?" I asked what she was talking about. Apparently the baked and sweet potatoes are coated in bacon fat before they are cooked. I was really quite horrified. I asked her why that wasn't disclosed on the menu. She had no idea. She called the manager over who seemed to be quite annoyed that I had a problem with it. I asked what about people who have pork allergy's or don't eat pork because of religious beliefs. She said people who don't eat pork usually ask. Who the hell would ask if there is pork in a sweet potato? I would never go back read more

The food is always prepared to satisfaction. I don't eat green beans but I will eat the green beans at Texas Roadhouse. One recommendation I would make is to reopen the waiting area especially with winter around the corner. I don't like the change they made to that area. read more

This place was an excellent choice for our last night visiting Colorado. There was a lot of people waiting but they seat people quickly so the wait wasn't too long. It looked like mostly locals in the place which I saw as a good sign. The first thing we noticed was the peanut shells on the floor. They are known for having barrels, boxes, and buckets of free peanuts everywhere and patrons throw their shells on the floor! The staff wore shirts that said "I my job" and everyone was so friendly. The other thing this place is known for is their fresh baked dinner rolls. They were so yummy! We ordered the 20 oz bone-in ribeye and a full slab of ribs. Both were the best we ever had! And the prices were so reasonable too. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fun place with good food at affordable prices. read more

Every time we decide to come back here (which are in between years), there is a bad experience every time. We decided to go for lunch there thinking it might've improved within the years we didn't go, boy, were we wrong! The food was so rubbery and tasted funny, we couldn't even finish it. Dishes were dirty too, that really turned me off. It just keeps going downhill with the food quality and cleanliness. The service was great. I had a great steak, perfectly cooked and my wife had chicken, a little over cooked but not enough to complain. After cutting my last piece of steak I actually found a fly, yes a black fly, dead in my sauce. We quietly told our server and she call the manager. We like the ambiance here you do get a Texas feel. The rolls you get are tasty, just be careful cuz you can easily have more than you should while you wait for your food. Our server was great, she was very communicative and gave great recommendations. We have been here before and enjoyed it again. We did wait around 10 minutes to be seated, but there were 7 in our party and it was closer to closing time. 10 minute wait is worth the food. Any steak you get here is good. I personally love ribeye and this one was cooked perfectly. I also had a Sangria margarita and it was a perfect starter for the meal. The waitress was on top of everything, making sure she took dishes and brought refills. I think the price is reasonable for what your getting. Christmas eve working night shift for an oilfield company. Put in an online order for my crew of four to be picked up at 7:15p. Received a call saying they were out of the 12oz Prime Rib that two people had ordered. When I asked if I could substitute a 16oz ribeye at the same price, they said sure. Received a call back a few minutes later from the Manager (Paula) with a huge attitude saying she would not give the 16oz steak and that its my fault for ordering so close to their closing time. She abruptly hung up. Received a 3rd call from from the original hostess asking if we wanted the order at all. I stated that I did. One of our co-workers went to pick up the order (again set for 7:15p) but they stated they had "lost the order". We will never go to this location again & will be following up with customer service after the holidays. We understood that it is Christmas eve and everyone working would rather be home but the attitude and then "losing" the order is unacceptable. Update: Our coworker brought the bag they gave him. And they ended up not including the steaks that we had told them we wanted. They did not charge us for them but they were told twice we wanted them. To say we are disappointed and dissatisfied would be a gross understatement. read more

Good food per usual for Texas Roadhouse. Had the filet medallions-- always sub out the "bed of rice"-- you'll thank me if you do. Server (Christian) was excellent. Very attentive got drinks before the glasses were empty kept the rolls coming. Checked on steak doneness-- which was spot on. Couldn't ask for a better server. This is a big shoutout to the incredible staff at the Greeley Texas Road House. ..last night while wating for a table my husband had a episode and started to crumble to the floor. ..I as able to hold him up and one of the staff came over immediately to help...then another got a chair an helped get him seated and helped me hold him so he would not fall...yet another staff called 911 and got them over right away...all this while trying to handle a crowd of customers coming in...my husband is doing well and we are waiting for cause...we always felt that the staff were all great...but now they are spectacular..again thank you for being so efficient and caring. read more

A ridiculous wait to get below mediocre food. Ordered the grilled chicken, husband ordered a steak and shrimp. It took 30 minutes to get our food and it wasn't good. My chicken was severely over cooked while the rest of the plate was undercooked. And with two drinks it's $75.00 meal that I could've made at home and it would've tasted good. The beer and the food was very good. I ordered the Samuel Adam winter flavor on tap, steak and full wrack of ribs. Everything was great. But the most extraordinary experience was their service. The atmosphere is fun, our waiter, Makenzie was so genuinely nice and sweet that the restaurant experience was truly the best I've ever had. She even said that her job was to make sure our experience was good. Wow. How did this restaurant chain be so right! The manager and the host came back and checked on us. I'd give my experience a 7-star if I could. Mikayla was an awesome waitress - very attentive without overcrowding the meal. And sweet. The food was TO DIE FOR - starting with the rolls and cinnamon butter, a perfectly cooked onion blossom and then ribeyes for 2 with sautéed mushrooms, salads and loaded baked sweet potatoes. A little while into our meal the manager came by with some first-timer gifts. A sample of melt in your mouth ribs that literally slid off of the bone. I would come back just to eat my weight in these ribs. I card for a free appetizer and a bag of peanuts to take home. Great advertising tactic! We were checked on often and attended to well considering how completely packed the restaurant was. I must commend the manager and his staff for keeping everything together so well! Finding the nearest restaurant that serves prime rib is at the top of my list when I venture into new locations. I was fortunate that Greeley had a Texas Roadhouse when I was going to UNC. The staff and atmosphere are cheerful and energetic. There's wide variety to choose from, and for relatively cheap prices. I give their prime rib 2 thumbs up, and it comes with two sides (I recommend a fully loaded baked potato and a cup of chili). Another reason why I like this place is because the staff cooks my meat to my specifications! I always order medium rare, but many restaurants cook one level above what you quested (the difference between medium rare and medium is very noticable). I couldn't get enough of this place while I was in Greeley! read more

A unique chain restaurant that tries to keep one step ahead of the others (Applebees, TGIF, Chilis, etc..) by offering unique food and atmosphere. The food is good, kinda cool/weird that they offer all the peanuts you want while you wait for your table or food. The sweet potato, steaks, and veggies are usually good. I am in a family of 10 so it's hard for us to all get together, but we finally were able to & decided on Texas Roadhouse. Which was a huge mistake!! We normally have a great time here individually but our waitress was just terrible! She was super rude & it took about an hour after we got sat to get our food. The table next to us just finished up when we got sat & they sat a new family about 20 minutes after we got there & they received their food first. & the waitress excuse was that "it's a lot easier to put in a 6 table then a 10 table" but that shouldn't matter we got there first so our order should be put in first..? We ordered 5 steaks (handpicked) all medium or medium rare & they all came well done, almost burnt, and one didn't come at all! When we informed the waitress that a whole meal was missing she rolled her eyes at us. I wish I would've gotten pictures!! But we were in such a rush to get out of there because of our waitresses sour attitude. It was sooo good, we had to go back for seconds! No, really! Dined here on a Friday night, took 10 minutes to get seated, fabulous! Lauren was quick to get our drink order, and somehow this young girl as amazing as she was bonded with us quickly. Her service, her polite attitude, spending a few more moments chatting with us really made the night a great experience. Once Lauren took our order, sides (Chili /Salad) came out quickly, dinner was paced well to come out after we got to speak a bit more with Lauren... The Sirloin steaks were really great! This is why we went back the next night to try something else on the menu! My daughter and I had the BBQ burger, only Mattie offered to "Spice things up" for me a bit by adding jalapenos to my burger... What an experience! That said, I hope the managers/owners of this place read the reviews. Lauren deserves to be recognized for her outstanding service..... she truly stands out among others that have ever served my wife and I. A regular come in to this location at least 3 times a week for a quick dinner. Today was not a great visit, server was not into her job or out of it. We asked for extra cheese for our salads and it didn't come till after we had already finished our salads. We ordered one steak medium well with some red it was well done when we got it. The other was supposed to be medium and it came out well done as well. She didn't offer to have them remade the steaks she just apologized and and then continued to ask if we would like a box for our food and that she would bring us our ticket. Sam our server didn't really make this a great experience. In the past a manager would come over and check on the table and today also that didn't happen we had to flag her down to let her know of our experience.
