Maybe it was an off night. Maybe some since it's a pretty new restaurant, they're filled with inexperienced servers. The food was fine and met expectations as you'd expect with chain restaurants; my gripe was with the service. Bartender forgot to bring our drinks. Offered to shake our hands and introduced himself after we got our food, I thought that was odd and rewashed my hands. Didn't bring out our rolls that he graciously offered to us (as I believe everyone gets at this chain restaurant). That was a bit disappointing. Practically ignored us when we wanted ketchup and steak sauce, actually had to get it from the other bartender. The other said bartender actually served our bill, but didn't give my change back! That was what infuriated me the most. I had to remind her and ask for my change! Everything else was excusable as it was a bit busy, but the buildup of disappointing service leading up to me waiting for my change (15 mins) and finally demanding it led to this 1 star review. We were sitting at the bar, so the servers were directly in front of me. Again,the food was fine for a chain restaurant - but I just had an horrible experience with my servers. Maybe it was an off night for my experience as I saw everyone around me was being well served, but I am not coming back to this restaurant. Take this review with a grain of salt. My husband, sister and I went to this place. Everything was super good and tasty. Thr reason for the 1 star, its because I had left a certain amount for a tip.... After the bank reconciled the amount, the waitress, Amanda H., added $5 more to the tip!!! I called and spoke with the Manager Nathaniel, who said he was going to refund me everything for the trouble. Yeah, right, I am still waiting for the refund. So buyer BEWARE, save you receipts, like I did, and make sure the amount you put in it, is the correct amount charged to your bank. read more

Went on a busy Saturday night. Long 45 minute wait, but they make peanuts available to eat. We had decent service, except for upselling us at every possible junction. We loved the hot bread, and our steaks were okay. It just feels like nothing on the menu offers a feel-good meal. We went on the second night and were very pleased with the food, service, atmosphere, etc. Not only is this a fun place (about 8 large overhead sports screens, line dancing in the aisles about every 45 minutes, very welcoming management and staff, etc.) but food was tasty and well-prepared. We had a steak and a chicken Caesar salad, and were pleased with both. Senior managers were circulating and checking with customers to make sure they were happy with the food and service. Definitely would advise using the call ahead option--this place will be very popular for the foreseeable future. Also, there are 4:00-6:00 early dining specials. read more

This Texas roadhouse has always had friendly and knowledgeable service. The Steaks I've had here have always been delicious. I would definitely Recommend trying this restaurant. If you want less crowds go during the earlier part of the week. If you are there on the weekend it can get quite crowded. read more

Previous two visits have been great.. Today not so much. Had to get a beeper.. And then they ignored us for over 15 minutes even though our whole party was, present. I finally went back to hosts who apologized.. Got to the table and my daughter sat on seat which was soaking wet again they apologized.. But had to then listen to my seven year old whine... My wife and I had dinner here on a Tuesday night in late November 2018. We are senior citizens, tourists, and had never been in this section of Massachussets before. We are big fans of Texas Roadhouse restaurants. We like all their signature items: peanuts in the shell, warm rolls with flavored butter, good steaks, and terrific side dishes such as the baked sweet potato. Texas Roadhouse also serves mashed potatoes and gravy, which I have ordered many times, but I recommend the baked sweet potato as a consistently better dish, and you can dress up the sweet potato with several add-ons if you wish. Here in Hadley MA, we sat at the bar as we usually do, because the T.Roadhouse restaurants are usually crowded with a line (but there was not line on this Tuesday night). We ordered our platters, drank our margaritas, ate peanuts and rolls, and enjoyed our meals totally. The quality here was just as good as all the other T. Roadhouse restaurants we have gone to. The bartender took good care of us. Good service. Yummy yummy. Highly recommended. read more

My wife is on a gallbladder diet and needs to be off the saturated fats. The staff here were able to accommodate that, even going so far as to bake extra rolls that weren't butter brushed. In three visits so far, I've had 3 superb experiences. The notion that the staff are somehow problematic is nonsense. I notice that more than one of those bad reviews are from locals "in the business". I'm calling all of those people out as local restaurant owners trashing the competition. You know who you are. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because their "I love my job." t-shirts are disturbing, degrading and abusive. read more

Had a great experience tonight. Margaritas were on point and the waitress and manager rectified a wrong by proving a new cut of prime rib to replace an end cut I did not request or complained about. We have always liked the food and service but what they did put them at the top of our list of places for steaks! read more

The service and food are always great! Though they are always pretty busy, we have never had to wait too long for a table as they are super efficient. The staff is wonderful, especially our server on this visit (I believe her name is Cienna- I probably spelled it wrong). She was really sweet and on top of things. Got the rattlesnake bites they were warm not hot as they should be. The salad was good but who can't make a salad!! I had the half rack of ribs... dry and gross!! And I got the green beans what a nasty flavor. A sad attempt at classic country beans!! Won't be back!! And to top it off NO BREAD the whole time we were here!!! read more

I eat at Texas Roadhouses all over the country, not sure how long this one has been opened but the cooks need more training so they can tell the difference between a NY strip and a ribeye. What horrible service we received the other night. My husbands steak came out way under cooked, our server told us they would make him a new one. Then the manager Ali came out with his "new" steak and asked him to cut into it. He did and then he noticed it was just the same steak recooked. When we asked the manager if this is what they did she said "yes, this is our policy", I told her with everything going on in the world right now to take a steak that a customer put their fork into after eating his rice off that fork and to they just put it on the grill to recook it was gross. This manager had such attitude when she told me this was there policy, I told her they need to rethink their policy with everything going on with COVID. She started to walk away and I said to my husband I will call the board of health, this manager turned around and came back to my table and said EXCUSE ME??? I have never been treated so horrible by a SERVICE MANAGER. I will be calling the board of health and her corporate office. I will tell you I am a manager with the public and I have always been taught that you kill people with kindness no matter what the situation and this manager Ali, needs to go back to learn how to speak, interact and handle upset customers. read more

My mother and I went to this fairly new Texas Roadhouse, the day after Mother's Day. First thing noted as we walked through the doors were whole and crushed peanuts on the floor, by the hostess station, though we did notice the small signs stating "caution peanut dust". We were served by a young lady named Abby, her service was friendly and timely which was great! The decor was over the top, probably a funny reflection of what Texas is like, over-the-top. The bread and butter as well as the peanuts in the pail are a great touch. Our appetizer, the Chili Cheese Fries was huge! Great portion for the price and also delicious. Our main dishes came out, my Portobello Mushroom Chicken and sides were delicious! My mother however asked for a medium rare 8oz Sirloin & Ribs, she received what looked more like a rare sirloin and she mentioned the ribs were a tad dry. Not a big complaint, just something they may want to improve on, being a steakhouse and all. My only large complaint however, had to do with a quick something I noticed at the entrance. A couple arrived, a woman in a wheelchair and a man pushing her, they seemed to have some minor difficulty getting through the door, but got through fine enough and approached the hostess station. It's my understanding that handicap auto-doors may be a hazard and so they aren't common at most restaurants, that's fine, however while this couple was trying to get through the door, there were roughly 4 young ladies standing and chatting at the hostess station, not one of them noticed to help the couple with the door situation. I noticed most, if not all, your waitstaff were young ladies, most of them probably in their early 20's, and there seemed to be quite a lot of them there, two of which were standing in the raised platform hostess area, should it not be there job to be paying attention to the customers entering the building? It just upset me a little that there were 4 girls standing around, seemingly slacking off while a handicapped woman and her husband (I assume) had some trouble getting through the door on their own. Other than this small occasion, our service and food was pretty great and we would suggest it to friends and family for sure. read more

IT'S DIRTY, DON'T EAT THERE. Today {7/15/17} I sat down and ordered a coffee and a steak dinner. I got my coffee with a spoon in it. So I just added some milk, stirred it, then removed the spoon. Like most people I licked my spoon before I set it aside. I felt a texture on my tongue. When I pulled the spoon from my mouth, it had food stuck to it from the last person who used it. I went to Texas Roadhouse with my brother, sister and father for my birthday. We had a good time in the restaurant was very much what you'd expect from a steakhouse. The parking was good it was easy to find somewhere to park it was a pretty large parking lot able to support more people than the restaurant could take in . You walk into the restaurant and are greeted by some friendly faces that show you to your table. They bring you bread rolls and cinnamon butter which is a delicious combination of sweet and savory. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming and definitely feels like a steakhouse. The decor was nice definitely had a barbecue restaurant eel to it. The wait for a table was nothing we walked in and were seated. The steak was pleasantly juicy definitely a savory delight. They had multiple options for how your steak is cooked. I got mine rare and it was cooked perfectly in my opinion. My sister got the pulled pork which had a lovely ratio of barbecue sauce to pork which can be hard to get sometimes but they did well. The cost was intermediate not too expensive not too cheap and you definitely get what you pay for. The menu had a multitude of tasty sounding options and had quite a few choices for what you might want. The main ones being steak and barbecue. Which they offer a range of barbecue and multiple different cuts of steak. Overall i gave it a four star rating because it was great food and service. I would recommend it to people although not for people with nut allergies as they have peanuts there for the enjoyment for their guests. read more

My wife and I have been waiting for a chance to try this place since it opened and finally got the chance for lunch. The Rattlesnake Bites appetizers were very good. My wife said her salad was great and she liked the Country Fried Chicken very much. I had the Roadkill chopped steak, cooked perfectly and very tasty. I was genuinely impressed with the mashed potatoes, something I have never said before in my life. The Chili is definitely better than average as well. **NOT YOUR AVERAGE FIVE STAR REVIEW** This evening, my boyfriend and I ordered two medium prime rib steaks (they were out of medium rare). While it took only 10 minutes to come out, they were not medium, or medium well, but well done, like almost grey well done! This was pretty disheartening because we were really looking forward to a juicy pink steak. But lucky for us! Our beautiful waitress agreed that our steaks were near inedible (okay, they were seasoned well and tender but not what we wanted), and notified the manager of our situation. He returned with two medium-rare-to-bloody rib eyes for us to take home WITH the sides we ordered as well. And to top it off, our waitress returned with a comped bill and her genuine apologies. She exclaimed, "We NEVER disappoint", yeah girl, I agree. Needless to say, we were shocked and very much appreciated this incredible service. We always come here and ALWAYS leave satisfied, and tonight was no different. 5 STAR JOB. Too bad we graduated and won't be coming back :(( read more

We went on opening night and tried to call several times for call ahead seating and no one answered the telephone. We only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. Our waitress was nice and the staff was friendly but our steaks were not cooked correctly. We all ordered our steaks medium. Two over cooked and two were rare. The waitress didn't come back to our table for more than 20 minutes after our meals were served. When we told her our steaks were cooked wrong and showed her, she said oh I'm sorry and walked away. Never offered to send them back and didn't bring it to a managers attention. We decided that since it was opening night, we wouldn't make a big deal about it but her tip was not as good as it would have been if she had offered to correct the mistake. She did get a tip though. I would probably not go back to this restaurant for a few months to give the staff time to learn how to prepare and cook steaks correctly. read more

I'm usually not a fan of chains, but I was in Hadley with my husband looking for a late lunch/early dinner. Decided to try Texas Roadhouse.We got there when it was just opening @ 3:30. Nice atmosphere,great waitress,quick service.We both ordered the half rack of ribs,mine with baked potato and veg,his with double veg and the onion blossom app and drinks (nonalcohol).The food was great! The fresh bread with cinnamon butter was a nice treat.Hubby loved the peanuts.I guess we were there too early for the dancing waitstaff but thats o.k.We both left very satisfied and even had leftovers.We will definitely be back. read more

I have had mixed experiences here. I have been to the one in Springfield and it is much better. The last time we went the service was bad and the food wasn't much better. I understand that this is another chain resteraunt but I was hoping for some consistency and good food considering it opened not to long ago and there is so much competition in the area. We started off with the cheese fries and they were a sad looking heap covered in cheap cheese. My wife ordered the ribeye and it was over cooked but she liked the flavor.I ordered the chicken finger basket. Because after the fries I didn't want to rock the boat and they were good. Also on a high note the rolls are very very tastey. Everything was reasonably priced but this resteraunt is surrounded by other places that are much much better for the money. read more

For the price can't beat the Ft. Worth ribeye. The place is a little noisy, but otherwise a very good meal. Wish they offered French dressing for salad. Italian dressing was adequate. The meat here is the star but the sides are nothing to write home about. Quality has slipped a notch the last time I visited. The Cesar salad which had a very good dressing seemed to have fewer croutons and tasted not as good. the waitress who went to get our check stood and listened to another customer who blabbed on and on while we sat there for what seemed like 5 minutes. the steak was a bit over cooked but still tasty. The chili which I had last time was not a "bowl of red" it had beans and tasted over spiced. I noticed they changed the menu name to "Texas bowl of red" but did not try it to see if it actually was. The steak fries I ordered were Luke warm and limp, like they had sat around for over an hour. If you like grilled meat this place is ok but don't expect any of the sides to be good. read more

My friends and I came to Texas Roadhouse to get drinks after our staff meeting. My friend and I ordered a drink and she realized that she did not have her i.d on her. She assumed that she left it home so she called her husband to see if her wallet was at home. He said that it wasn't so she checked her car again and she found her wallet. She came back in showed the waiter her wallet and he put on her drink order. Then his manager came over and asked to double check her I.D and said that they had to scan it to make sure it was a real I.D. She personally targeted me and my friends because we are women of color (and you know we look young for our age). But the fact that we're black she automatically assumed that we would be doing something illegal. She made my friends and I very uncomfortable. And our waitress clearly saw the bread was past serving time and gave us dry, ashy, and cracked bread. I've never gotten such poor service at a restaurant before and regardless of your age or race you should get respect for spending your hard earned money at any establishment. Very dissatisfied with this restaurant chain and I will not be coming back. read more
