​Great management saved the Day! ​My wife, kids and I went to the Jackson, TN Texas Roadhouse to celebrate Mother's Day. She ordered the ribeye and I had the NY strip. Unfortunately, the food didn't start off great. My strip was very tough and full of gristle. I let our waitress know, and when she came back, I asked if she had mentioned it to the manager. She said she had, but wasn't sure if the manager was coming over. I asked her to please let the manager know that I'd like to speak with them directly. ​A few minutes later, the manager, Eileen, came to our table to check on us. I explained the issue with my steak and also mentioned that my wife's ribeye was quite dry. Eileen immediately stepped up to make things right. She offered to have my wife's steak redone and immediately took my NY strip off the check, promising to address the issues with the kitchen staff. I really appreciated her attentiveness and quick action to resolve the situation. ​On our way out, Eileen checked in again and asked us to please give them another chance in the future. Thanks to Eileen, a frustrating dinner was turned into a good experience. We really appreciate a manager who cares about customer satisfaction, and we will definitely give them another try! read more

I ordered to go online. Longer wait time than quoted. Steak was overcooked, dry, & I couldn't chew it. My steak has always been great here. I had to go back & take the steak back. They did cook another steak medium & it was delicious. I wasn't really pleased because I should not have had to drive back. They were not that apologetic. I traveled a lot in the last 5 years and have eaten at 32 different locations. I have only ever had 1 bad meal and the MP Managing partner was on site and comped my entire meal and invited me back on her. When we arrived we were greeted promptly and everyone was smiling. The music was Christmas and the volume was perfect. Every where I looked was clean and well kept. Today Pam and I and a good friend Jeff who also spent many years in the food industry came in for a Sunday lunch. We began with a House margarita with a Patron kicker while Pam had a glass of Dark Horse Cabernet, and Jeff had water (light weight). We then had a Cactus Blossom which was perfectly cooked not grease at all but crisp and fresh. Pam had a Filet Mid Rare it was cooked perfectly With a house salad with Romaine instead of Iceberg and it was very cold and fresh my gal was very happy. Jeff had the Ribeye and Ribs which he devoured and never said much as he was busy stuffing his face. lol I had a 16oz Mid Rare Prime Rib with a house salad and loaded baker. The Salad was verry cold and crisp and the house made dressing was great. My potato was hot and fluffy. Now My Prime Rib was freaking great. for starters I think it was about 20oz instead of 16oz it was a perfect Mid Rare. Our Server was a gentleman named "Q". One of the best server I have come across in a long while. He had a great personality and very fun, and he had great menu knowledge, and was well versed in the wine list which I find very rare. To start off the visit I ordered a Frozen Mango Margarita and was told they are not able to make any frozen margaritas. This is the second visit in a row i have been told there are no frozen margaritas. On top of that I asked for a Tajin rim and got the Patron Kicker which I didn't get until I asked my waitress. I've never went in and sat down at this restaurant, but we have order pick up twice. The first time, we didnt have to wait too long but realized after leaving we didnt get any rolls, that was sad. The second time, we waited a short time(nothing crazy). A very nice girl brought out the food, forgot the drinks and condiments so had to go back in, we thought we had everything until we got home and realized there was no bread for the alfredo as well as the mushrooms I order(my FAV side) so I was super disappointed with that. The food and prices were outstanding, but was even above and beyond That, and I'm embarrassed that I don't know her name, but it was a pick up order to go, but there is a gal there with black and purple hair that was absolutely a rockstar the most welcoming, genuine, kind hearted person working service I have ever come across in my entire life just outstanding. I can't imagine that place without her I didn't get her name. Was there 10 minutes and she made me feel so welcomed and was so kind. I can't say enough about her wish I knew her name to give her credit but I'm hoping that her manager will see this and give her a huge raise because she really deserves it and I was just so overwhelmed by how kind and how welcoming she was. We waited an hour and forty minutes for our food. Our waitress Trinity was great! Didn't hold back on her tip. But as you went to your table and restroom the wait staff didn't offer for you to go first or get out of the way! My sweet potato had nothing on it. My corn was left off my vegetable plate. When I told the waitress about the last visit being bad and now this visit was even worse, she suggested that I come earlier in the day. My grandson didn't get his steak until everyone else was almost finished and she asked me if I wanted my sweet potato to go. My family and I always eat at Texas Roadhouse when we eat out about 2 times a month. This was our absolute worst experience we have had from food to service, sometimes it's one or the other maybe, we are disappointed because we spend quite a bit. First we had Willam as our waiter and we are not impressed because we never seen him after we got our food so we paid and left even though we were thinking dessert and hey would have loved a drink refill. I don't usually leave bad reviews but this was just too bad to let slide. Six of us came for my daughter's birthday. We did the online wait list and when we arrived we followed the instructions via their text. It was a 25-30 min wait but after 45 min we still weren't seated. I went to the booth and was told that whoever had been working the host stand never did check us in. After waiting an hour we were finally seated. We put in our drink order and an order for the cactus blossom. After our drinks came we ordered our entrees. We then waited a very long time to get our appetizer but no small plates. Shortly after we got the appetizer our food came. We never got our salads and I never got my potato. Our steaks were over cooked and two people never got their toppings for their steaks. Our waitress poured tea all over the table and continued to pour even when she saw it happening. After three tries she finally took off all things we never got. The host were so rude and the attitude from Kysun and kytana were so horrible! The managers had a bad attitude with me too, I think her name was Shelby or something but she just was not very pleasant to me.What happened to this being the friendliest place in town? There were roaches in the bathroom and the place was just a mess. My table had garbage piled up under jt along with a bunch of silverware and the table was still gross and sticky. My food wasnt cooked right and was very obviously undercooked and the steak seemed like it was about to jump off the table and start mooing at me from how raw it was! After I got done eating I was going to go place an order in their to-go center but I was standing there for a good 10 minutes until anyone was back there again and even then they ignored me like I wasn't there even when I tried to say something to get their attention. I think the girl who was ignoring me said her name was Gracy or something whenever she had finally go to me after just standing there doing nothing for a while and she just had a snarl the whole time with me. Our first waitress tryed to seat us next to a huge party and when we asked to move she told us to wait in line again and we were but we asked another waitress to seat us and she was very nice so all was good until the end the table next to us spilled a drink which was fine until nobody cleaned it up the people tried to with just napkins but that didn't work obviously but you would think that they would help but no and then our waiter which was nice rushed but nice till it was time to pay and we all were just talking and then came over and just smacked the ipad and was seemed flustered needless to say he got a 1$ tip read more

As soon as you walk in, it's just a mess all around, crowded waiting area, people walking all over the place, and the rolls sitting out look like they're from the Stone Age. Where do I start. The waiter was a great waiter. The burger had little to no flavor, the steak lacked seasoning. And to top it off they ran out of wedge fries and they swapped them out with off brand crinkle fries. They were dark from the grease not being fresh. It's not GREAT but it's not BAD either. Food is good but the worst part is the service. There's nothing particularly special about this location that warrants a 1.5+ hour wait time for seating, another 45 minutes for a drink, and then another hour to get your food. I've had the crispy chicken salad and the country fried chicken. I've also tried the steak. The salad was fine. It was the "healthiest" thing I could find on the menu. The chicken was good, but everything else was pretty tasteless. It says it salad is a bed of greens, but all it is is iceberg lettuce. I got the country fried chicken with white gravy, and it was really good! By that time, though, I had already waited 1.5 hours for food and had worked my way through 2 baskets of bread. The steak is good too. You can pick out your meat, but you'll have to request to do so and they'll give you a ticket. Another random note: It's freezing in there. Bring a sweater! Went to Texas Roadhouse in Jackson, TN, last night. Ordered the 8 oz. New York strip, but got the 8 oz. sirloin. Also got the steak fries and bowl of chili. The Texas red chili was excellent. The steak, which I ordered medium well, was very tough. Dad got the 11 oz. sirloin, medium, and it was also tough. Mom got the steak kabobs on rice with a sweet potato, her steak was medium rare, and it was very tasty, and not tough.
