I previously enjoyed this restaurant but after the last 3 visits I will not continue to give this restaurant my business. Bad visit #1 appetizer was brought out with meal. Easily forgiven. Bad visit #2 I was given raw salmon. That is unforgivable. Still we go back again and once again the appetizer comes out as our entree is served without the salads even being served. I called the corporate office spoke with Ashley and a week later I have received no call back. There is no excuse for service and no response from corporate. My family and I were driving through, and stopped in Jackson for the night. We're usually a big fan of Texas Roadhouse, I'm originally from Texas so we decided to eat here for dinner. So much was wrong with our experience. First, they are not respecting social distancing. No every other table like I've seen at many other restaurants, but they do have partitions up between booths. I've worked at many restaurants, and I know they were past capacity tonight. I took my youngest daughter to the bathroom, and when I entered the bathroom a manager was inside saying we could use the family style stall because there was actually vomit dripping off the walls and toilet with other women using the bathroom at the same time. The wait time was reasonable approximately 10 minutes however we were told that we would receive a phone call when our table was ready that was not necessarily true we received a text and we weren't expecting a text so we sat there an extra 15 minutes while they continue to try to text us. Well, this was our second time eating here (used curbside), the online ordering part is easy and stress free, it's the picking up part that's hell. On the way to get food received a call from a server stating they were out of Porter House steak, so we had to substitute, which was understandable no problem. Shit didn't get real til we got there parked and texted we were there. About 15 mins later a server comes out with one bag and basically threw it to my husband and walked off. Umm we ordered food for a family of six so of course we knew it was wrong. She gave us someone else order , finally waved her back down and told her what the issue was. We waited 48 mins on our food and then the bag of dressings was leaking ranch because some genius that works there put a bunch of ranch containers with the lids barely on in a bag. Such a mess, ranch was all over my floor boards and seat. Between the wait, the inaccuracy, the ranch bomb , and the rudeness we will definitely not be back to spend our hard earned money. We have spent too much money to accept this crap. They need better management and workers, the staff they have now is running this place into the ground. This is the ONLY place in Jackson I've been able to get a steak done the way I asked for it the first time it comes to my table. The service is good even when they are slammed. We have sat with Wendy several times, and she is definitely your go-to gal! We also had Shareneka today who knew how to treat us like friends instead of customers. The food was fresh and hot. After my post on Facebook & google was removed I decided to come here. I contacted Texas Roadhouse last week, made a reservation, and thought all was well, until I was told today, they do not take reservations. I was also told "I will not tie up 2 servers for a party on a Friday night." My party is 38-40 people, we have this information last week when the "reservation" was made. Today, the rude girl on the phone passing the managers messages back to me, insist we eat elsewhere, and then hung up. It takes a few minutes for a manager to tend to a phone call rather than lose a ton of potential returning customers! Well, TRH! Took forever to get food - mistake check - overall just a very long dining experience. Won't be back.

I went there almost two weeks after they opened, I had a steak, baked potato, and a Caesar salad. The next morning I got food poisoning from what I ate. I get that most would think it could just be ur body, well I think that's not the case because I had a friend recently go and she also got food poisoning from country fried chicken and a house salad. The next morning she had food poisoning as well. AND THEN I had another friend go the same night and couldn't even finish the pulled pork sandwich. He also was told by an employee that the chicken was not cook correctly that night. AND LASTLY I have another friend that wasn't even notified that they ran out of pulled pork until everyone at her table received their food. We won't be going back. read more

This restaurant has a no regard for customers with health issues. They blast the music so loud every 45 minutes so loud that you can't hear the person sitting next to speaking. I have had brain surgery and I am sensitive to sounds. We spoke to the OWNER and he didn't care that I was having an issue and needed the music level turned down. He said it would end in a short while and would start again in 45 minutes. Customers are the business lifeblood. Making them happy should be first priority. We also waited 59 minutes for our order. Food is mediocre at best probably due to it being a huge chain restaurant. The service is good. Very kind patient employees. However with every pro there is a con. The con being the loud music. The music is so incredibly loud you'll leave shaking. I could barely enjoy my meal due to the amount of anxiety the loud music produced. If you want a better experience try to find a steakhouse that isn't a huge chain. read more

Honestly, the hype had me excited, but I was less than pleased with my experience here. My NY Strip came out looking like a sirloin, and the woman who delivered it felt the need to argue with me before finally the manager replaced it. Then it wasn't cooked the way I'd ordered it and was rather tough. The Peach Margarita was great, and our waitress was fantastic, but I don't think I'll be back. Ordered for pickup. When I got home, I was missing a salad. I called the store and was told I could drive back to get it or I can get it the next time I go back for free. How can it be free when I already paid for it? Certainly not driving back there now just to get a salad. We ordered $100 in steaks and chicken strips to go. The app would not let us order so we are next door at hotel and we drive over. We placed our order took our number and we went out slide to wait and an hour later they couldn't find our food order. They take your number but don't call when your order is ready. We get back to the hotel and there is half our order missing, they have gave no sauce that we had asked for ,no salads , no silverware, we bought a drink too and didn't get any of it. Told my husband he needed to leave when he went back for the food we paid for and they still didn't give us our order . I wouldn't recommend them at all to my worst enemy because their hospitality and service is awful. The manager working tonight was rude and disrespectful and was hostile when all we wanted was our food and something to eat it with. We will never go back or have any of our office events here ever! Service is not good. And the food not much better. My wife ordered a BBQ Chicken sandwich and waitress brought a BBQ Pork Sandwich. When she tried to correct the waitress, the waitress said, "We don't have a BBQ Chicken Sandwich". They keep the menus on the table (which is gross, especially during Covid-19 era), so we were able to quickly educate her that indeed they did have a BBQ sandwich on the menu. It took soooo long to get food, and we ended up taking my wife's home. She did not even eat there. My kids were not impressed either. Such a waste of an afternoon. Maybe this was just a one off. Ordered online, parked in the ToGo area and followed the instructions. At home, without exception we receive a reply text but did not here. Nearly an hour later, all of the other cars in the ToGo area were gone and went inside to hunt for the order. The hostess was rude and there was no apology. I could hear the staff in the carryout area discussing the order and when they brought it out, no apology. What was finally received was cold and swimming in grease. I really don't understand what the big deal is about this place. We show up and were told the wait was 15 mins. Ok. Fine. No biggie. I'm a server I understand. But, an hour goes by and still we aren't seated. The host up front are scatter brained and its obvious this is their first job. The service was decent except the sever tried telling me the horseradish that came with my appetizer was spicy ranch. The food wasn't that great. The cactus blossom was bland and not worth the price. I had an early dinner with my husband a week ago. We were able to use the free veteran's day meal card that we were blessed with from Texas Roadhouse. What a great idea to avoid the rush on Veteran's day. So generous and gave us something to look forward to. My husband had a sirloin and I got salmon. They were both fantastic! Truly some of the best salmon I've ever had! The rolls were fabulous, as always! We got the brownie a la mode and it was enough for 4 people. The only downsides were sitting in the bar area. I miss the preCOVID days being able to choose to sit in that space on purpose to watch a game or if you just wanted to avoid the wait. It wasn't exactly the date night atmosphere I had in mind since it was louder with many distractions and we were near the kitchen. We could hear a female voice yelling, but nothing unkind. The wait was long enough to allow shopping at Joanne's even though we were there by 430. Our side of mushrooms was quite salty, but other than that it was a fine experience! I am writing this review for my brother, he is way nicer than I am. This is a copy of his FB post. So last night we go to Texas Roadhouse and I am at the cooler picking out a steak to eat. When all of the sudden, all of the butter and all of the to go cartons that are being stored on top of the cooler, are shoved at me. In an instant I am covered in butter. The amazing thing is not one person apologized and the hostess just stood there and looked at me like I had done something wrong. I didn't want to move because to step anywhere meant stepping in more butter. Finally a guy comes around the corner and starts sweeping up all the little buttercups. He never says a word to me but finally I asked him for a towel to clean myself. He politely obliges me but never apologizes or offers to assist in cleaning me up. It was all as if I had been the one that had done it to myself, as if I had made a huge mess at their place. Evidently the store is a very new store having only opened in March so the employees are just now figuring things out, but thought it was all rather rude. So when we finally get to our table and I hand the waitress my ticket for the steak I had finally gotten to choose, she looks at me like I'm doing something really weird and then she says "what would you like me to do with this?" Evidently she had no clue about Roadhouse's process of choosing your own steak. So I had to explained to her how that all worked. We struck up a conversation with another waitress because of a flag she was wearing and it just happened that she knows the owner. I left my number with her so we'll see if he actually calls. Service has declined in the last few months! The app doesn't work most of the time. I always end up having to go up there to do a "call in", then it takes forever to get the food. Today, I called 5 times, each time either they end up hanging up or holding for long period! The last time I called, I just wanted to get 2 dozen rolls. We were at least 15 mins away from the restaurant and by the time we were halfway there, she still had me on hold! We pulled up and the guy in lot took our order and told us to go to take out park #3. We stayed there 20 mins and STILL NO ROLLS! We left and just went to Walmart to get some to bake at home. We visited with a party of 8. We asked if we could wait for a table so we could all sit together. The manager told us they had no tables and only had booths. We would have to be separated due to them "not having tables". As we walked to our booths we noticed that they did in fact have tables. The manager lied. The hostess stated that their tables don't move (unsure if that was true or not). They could not accommodate a party of 8 even though they have a sign at the hostess station saying they can accommodate 8. They don't accommodate large parties, families, and management is dishonest. This location is awful. I have been to a few locations in middle TN and never had problems. read more
