Service was very poor and food arrived cold at the table. We waited over 30 minutes for a waitress after the hostess sat us and we only saw her twice. Once for drinks and food (because we didn't want to let her get away and wait longer to place an order) and the check. Nobody every offered refills. read more

Absolutely delicious food. Nick, the server was extremely hospitable and displayed desire to serve and get us whatever we wanted to make our meal more enjoyable. My food was good by my wife's was awful. We asked about happy hour and the waitress said "we don't need happy hour because we are busy"....really, you are in Jackson MI, not some high end classy joint in a big city, they even have happy hours. I have been at the TX Roadhouse in Jacksonville FL years back, and that place had a better atmosphere and the staff was not annoying. Oh and one last thing, don't offer military discount if it will be only for one item not including the beverage. Kind of belittles the purpose. I know you cant offer for a party of 6 but when other smaller restaurants offer a discount for the whole meal, I think a large chain like you can also. Staff swiped another customer's bill in addition to mine after I had paid my check. I never swiped for that other bill, nor signed a receipt, yet it was processed under my card and money taken from me for 2 bills on the same day! Will never go again! First and last time there! read more

This Lone Star Steakhouse COPY , is better . But not much. They claim to have LEGENDARY Food AND Service.!!? The Food I agree with, they keep it big, and consistent (for now). They do something that many restaurants dont. Thats trying to be all things to all people by having a menu bigger than the Bible !!! Now the Service. Average at best. Met my expectations , but by no means exceeded them. The steps of service taught by all chains was followed and our waitress had a great personality !!! I heard they do the dancing to my least favorite music. I see this as a gimmick not LEGENDARY ! While the dancing is going on, you cant get a refill , your food is sitting in a pickup window getting cold, etc. If I want a Steak I will go there, I used to go to Finleys until the Service went down hill in late 90's ! If a restaurant wants to give Legendary Service they need to have great training on the basic fundamentals, and then goal set by setting and rewarding each employee to Open Doors from open to close for guests, get to know and use names, do x-tras like Having free samples for waiting lines, something for all kids (balloon, treats, etc), having umbrellas to walk people to their cars, etc, etc. Managers need to lead by example , give the tools needed, and celebrate success. Upgrade at all times by removing black holes and Replace them with stars. !!!!!!! I have seen Real Legendary Service before, but it was always the management that let it Die Out ! We went for the 1st time so my husband could get his free meal on Veterans Day. You can imagine how busy they were, but we only waited 15 minutes for seating. All the employees were just great. Waitress didn't miss a beat & the food was great. Loved the rolls with cinnamon butter and the blooming onion. Hubby said his steak was the best he's had in a restaurant, huge baked potato also. The reviews on here are stupid, I write restaurant reviews for a living. I have ran several restaurants and managed others. There were some bad reviews on this site about this place. First of all its a sports bar its going to be really loud haven't been in texas roadhouse that wasn't loud. Second of all the wheel chair access is hit or miss at restaurants , there is no real laws that detriment this. Third if you sit at the bar you have to understand one the bar staff has to make drinks for the whole restaurant and also take food orders at the bar. And when you sit at the bar be prepared to have one or two drunks that make a scene at the bar its bar life. But what great reviews i seen on here, I will have to agree, the food is reasonably on time considering they are a new start up and really busy. The prices are reasonable considreding the type , the amount, and economy. The staff is overlly friendly which is standard in a sports bar, the staff is not understaffed but way over staffed. Six hostes is a bit much considering they just stand around and talk waiting for tables to open up. I think they utilize them in other ways like getting drinks, cleaning tables removing some dirty dishes from the table as guest progress through thier meal. This takes a way from the servers stress to do it all, plus having three people baking rolls is also miss use of staff. However , the food is hot, wounderful, the enviroment is entertaining . With a bundance of peanuts, rolls and drinks and company your mouth will be busy. The restaurant and its staff is freindly for all types of people, no matter size, age, or race. The comment about racal comments is ridiculous, because any comment is depending on the context and situation . So don't pay attenion to the bad reviews even the best restaurants in the world gets some bad reviews every now than . Its usally from people whom we can please no matter how hard we try. read more

We were there today around 3 p.m. Service was good so was part of my meal. I lost my appetite after the busboy spilt water all over the table & floor across from me & was doing a lousy job of cleaning it up!! first he took the rag you wipe off tables with & threw it on the bench & wiped off the bench. No big deal until he used the same rag to wash off the table. You NEVER use the same rag for the seats & table. Then he threw the cloth napkins on the floor to mop up the water including a dirty napkin that had wet food all over it onto the floor. It looked like vomit even tho it wasn't. I called the manager over & asked why did they use cloth napkins & I hoped they would throw them away. She said "Oh no. we send them out to be cleaned." After they have been on that filthy floor?! So he left the vomit looking mess for us to see during our meal even after a 2nd manager came over. I will NEVER go back there. Too dirty. read more

This was my second try with the gluten friendly menu. Both times, my steak was delivered to the table with seasoning and margarine. I was hoping my second visit would be better. But, it wasn't. All of the staff was very friendly on both visits. That was a plus. I'm not sure I will be back though. It just creates a really awkward experience for myself and my dining companions when I have to wait for two steaks to be cooked. They don't want to eat while I don't have food. It's just not a pleasant experience. read more

Fun atmosphere, very busy (we went in close to their grand opening we waited about 3 hours in total), very loud, prompt service. Food was good and the quality was okay. The price was great. The rolls are probably their best thing served. read more

This was our first experience at this locale - just visited one last week in Surprise, AZ (which was great). We all ordered hamburgers. One guest ordered "well done" - it came medium "rare" & I ordered mine "medium well" it came very well done, over cooked. I ordered a salad instead of fries served with my burger. Half way through the salad, I saw bugs crawling in it, YUCK! I complained to the server, she took it away and wanted to know if I wanted another, "no" I said. Five minutes passed and some guy - who didn't identify himself was standing before me and said - "we wash our fresh lettuce daily, and it's a once in a million chance that bugs still remain, and that million person is you". Would you like another salad, "no" I said. Okay, sorry and he left. We were presented our bill, no discount for the wrong cooked food or the bugs, no coupon or gift card to return and try again. This is one person who will never go back there - total indifference. Never been treated so poorly. read more

I had a $50 gift card and used it to pay for a $48.08 meal. The waitress brought the card back said it could not be used. I had to pay for the meal some other way, so I paid them. The manager told me there was a problem with gift card system. When I got home I discovered the store had placed two charges on my gift card. One for $48.04 and one for $1.96 emptying the card and then they charged me another $48.04 for the meal. Grand total for a $48.04 meal $98.04 plus tip. Recently opened franchise steakhouse. My wife and I shared an 8 oz sirloin and added 1/2 rack of ribs. Also ordered a 4 vegetable plate with salad, loaded baked potato, mixed veggies, and cup of chili. 5 year old daughter had the Kraft Mac & Cheese with mashed potatoes. We should have asked, but the potatoes were skin on, so she didn't eat them. Service was just a bit slow, but it was already a packed house at 4:30 on a Saturday. Manager stopped by a couple times, bringing us a basket of fresh rolls once, which was nice. Everything was quite good. Steak was ordered well done. Due to variation in thickness, half was well and half was medium well, which was just right for us. Ribs were slightly dry, but full of smoky flavor. Drinks stayed full all evening, and we had a full box of leftovers to take home. Before tip, bill came to just over $37. Not terrible, and we definitely think we can get by just sharing a single entree next time, and we definitely plan on coming back. read more
