I chose Texas Roadhouse for my evening meal. Texas Roadhouse is popular for a reason and one of the things they do well is a consistent experience no matter the location. I got my bread, I got my salad, I got my baked potato, and steak. Everything came out just I expected it would and I left content and full. The service was great too. horrible experience. my sisters 77th birthday lunch. she ordered prime rib loaded baked tater and green beans. Second visit. I keep wanting to give them a higher rating but they keep messing up. This time everything was great until they brought out the entries: two meals were perfect and 2 were overcooked. A medium steak came out well and the medium well came out very well done. They did remake the steaks but it did take some time. I decided to try their loaded baked potato and didn't love it. I appreciate the effort, and remaking a steak when they overcook it, but you really want them to do it right (even just one time) where everything comes out as expected and you actually get what your order. read more

We ask to be seated outside and away from the loudspeakers, and asked the server to turn down the volume. It's very hard to have a conversation across the table with the loud music. Great food and service. We visited on a very busy Saturday night but the wait time was acceptable and service was so great. Avi was our server and was extremely helpful with orders, taking away plates, checking on us and just awesome all around. Food was very good. My wife is gluten free and enjoyed her meal. The wait here has gotten a little ridiculous with a heavy focus on to go orders slowing the kitchen down. Seems like plenty of staff but no urgency. Christmas Eve alert ... give them a try on another Night!!! Our waitress and her trainee were kind considerate and polite ! They listened to our first comment of no liquor in my margarita but it is a pre mix so not able to do anything about an ice slushy. The manager was kind to repeat a base mix so nothing could be done to correct my liquor bill or drink!! The great loud country music vibe still creates a good drowning out of other conversations. The chill of the ceiling fan going by our table on a 38 degree night yikes!! The kids chicken tender and my husbands 6.00 loaded bake potato and my smokehouse burger everything was delicious but I like my food hot! Our server was very friendly and efficient and I got a free appetizer for signing up to their VIP program last week. The food--filet for my wife and me and ribs for my BIL and his wife.--was tasty and properly cooked. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was my baked potato which was warm but not steamy. The Chili ( I was eating as a meal) came out about 15 minutes before my Wife's steak. The steak was ordered Medium Rare and was well done. We went on a Wednesday and took advantage of their Wednesday special, which was an 8oz sirloin with shrimp and two sides for $9.99. We were seated immediately by a friendly hostess, then our equally friendly server arrived with bread. He took our drink order, then left us to look over the menu. The bread was fresh and piping hot. The cinnamon butter was soft and good. Our server returned with our drinks and took our meal order. We also ordered the fried pickles appetizer and asked for more bread and butter. The pickles arrived within 5 minutes, along with the additional bread and butter. This bread was also piping hot, but the butter was frozen. It was spreadable in just a few minutes. The fried pickle chips were very good. The ranch dipping sauce was fine, but the cajun horseradish was my favorite. My 20 something dining partner thought the background music was too loud. We asked for it to be turned down a notch and it was done quickly. Our steaks arrived in about 10 minutes. We had each ordered them medium rare. Mine was medium well, another was medium, and the third was medium rare. We decided against having them refired and having to wait. Our server was apologetic and very nice, but it wasn't his fault. We probably should have asked for new steaks since two of the three tasted like they had been frozen. All TR steaks are supposed to be fresh, but something was off for these. The meat had a slight gray color and even a "gray" taste. The one medium rare steak was very good, so I'm not sure what was wrong with the other two. The shrimp were all overcooked. Not quite rubbery but close. The flavor was good though. The baked potatoes are large but not huge. They were a bit overcooked and crumbly inside but the toppings were good. The vegetables were slightly overcooked. They were soft but not mushy. The Cesar and garden salads were good. This was not the quality of experience we have had previously.
