Top notch tavern! It's been a minute but we wanted to try this tavern and it blew us out of the water with its delicious selection of " pub food". This truly is not your ordinary pub food- it's "Michelin star" worthy. So upset that I m not one of the food critiques. The service is speedy fast, our server Aiden was on top of our drinks, appetizer and entire. His check in times were on point. Thank you Aiden for excellent service. The tavern is a warm ambience with TVs showcasing football and news channels. The booth we sat in was very spacious. The most impressive thing for me was all the framed photos on the walls. The subject matter non descript just interesting to me. I'm giving five stars to the menu and the chef, you made this Yelper happy. I am telling all our foodie friends this Marlow's is on my list of favorite places to eat. Yes, I did take your catering menu!! I might have to use it.

We had originally planned for a different restaurant but that did not work out and we had seen Marlow's Tavern on the way so we decided to give it a shot. It was good and we returned less than a week later. My daughter had the mac n' cheese with fries, hubby had a salad and I had wings and kettle chips. Everything was very good including the service. I did not realize it was a chain until we accidentally ended up at a different location after putting the name in my GPS. This time I had the royale burger and hubby had the chicken panini. Once again, both food and service were good. Oh, and both times we got the creme brûlée for dessert and it was delicious. I like this place and will likely make it part of our regular rotation.

Parking: There is ample free parking as the restaurant is located in a shopping center with a parking lot. Food: I ordered the BBQ Chicken Cobb Salad and enjoyed it. I would get that again. It was a pretty large portion and the dressing covered the salad nicely. My sister was not impressed with the Caesar salad, nor the steak she added to it. She had to ask for a side of Caesar dressing since the salad didn't seem to have any on it. My sister's friend ordered the French Onion sandwich and said it was good. Drinks: I ordered the Paloma mocktail and it was delicious, and refreshing. I love how they have a variety of mocktails to choose from. My sister and her friend ordered the ginger marg, and were not impressed. My sister didn't even finish hers. Vibe: We sat outside and appreciated the variety in chairs (those with and without arms). The service was okay. Not the worst I've had, but I've definitely had better. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to go back or suggest Marlow's, but if a friend or family member wanted to go I wouldn't say no. I would just recommend not ordering the Caesar salad.

Food was ok... not our favorite. Had Parmesan crab dip (too salty), Ruben ( not enough horseradish and just missed the traditional flavors) oh and bloody Mary's watered down. Aiden was a great server!!! Ambience on point as always! Drinks on point!! The Buck and Marg we got seconds!!!

Six reviews back I wrote about a different branch -- actually a better branch -- of Marlow's. Music was blasting when we walked in today. Too loud to carry on conversation. Our server -- a nice gal and good waitress -- asked, on my behalf for them to lower the music. After a second request they complied. Our table was tacky. (Sticky, not garish.) The waitress said it was because of the sanitizer they use between guests. I was dubious. I asked my friend if she wanted to go elsewhere. She didn't. I ordered my usual off-the-menu item: a grilled chicken bahn mi wrap with a side salad. The salad wasn't as good as at the aforementioned location. Neither was the wrap, which I found skimpy and lacking 'oomph.' My friend ordered the shrimp and crab nacho plate, which her daughter recommended. It looked better than I expected. Is this place terrible? Certainly not. Will I come back? Probably not.

We were in Marietta for a Grandson's Birthday and as such, we normally take my Son Brian, wife Jill and the two Grandsons and one Granddaughter out for Lunch, normally on our last day there before returning back to Denver NC. It had been a fun time and we kept up the tradition of taking the Kids out for new shoes and that is always fun. We've dined at probably at least three other Marlow's Travern in the area before and they were always consistently good. Brian had never tried this one before and suggested this one to see what it as like. It's a few minutes further away from their house that the East Cobb or Kennesaw locations but no big deal. Still well within a reasonable driving distance. Any parent will tell you that going out to eat with three little ones ranging in age from 8 to 3 can be a challenge particularly when the two oldest are rambunctious boys. The little girl is a sweetheart and while she does not put up with anything from her brothers, is very well behaved and mannered. That said, a party of seven with four adults and there under the age of 8 ir probably ever servers' nightmare. Still the hostess found us a spot a little off the main area that was quiet and we had a very good understanding server. Ordering for the kids was the easy part. They are at an ages with Gourmet Dining consist of either Mac n' Cheese or Chicken Tenders. made it easy. My wife started with a Black Russian and we had to explain what a Black Russian was, but they finally figured out what it was, and she finally got her drink. Good thing she did not order a White Russian which has slightly more ingredients. I stuck with my Iced Unsweetened Tea, Jill had a coke and Brian had one of the Craft Beers We started out with s shared place of Asparagus Fries which were excellent. Susan and Jill ordered the Steak Salad while Brian order the ROYALE Cheeseburger and I had the Black and Bleu Burger. One comment and that is they have excellent Fried Okra. My compliments to the restaurant and while thinks were chaotic as could be expected, you put up with us. Only reason I did not rate you higher is that I rarely rate venues with a five based on one visit. We have another trip to the Marietta area coming up shortly and we may be able to visit again.

Staff was excellent and very knowledgeable. For the most part the food was cool. A little greasy with the fried options but cool non the less. My side piece (wife ) had the coconut/ Basil margarita which was delicious... hope you enjoy.

My prompt to my gpt this morning included "family owned, cozy place, food that hugs you like a grandma after a long time away, etc" this is one of the best places I've been in USA so far. I also woke up idealizing to only try new things and no repeats but I've already ordered a second drink haha I absolutely don't want to leave. As soon as you walk in they greet you and help you out, then the bartender (I came by myself so I sat on the bar) approached me with the most warmth and helped me getting something according to her experience and taste but considering my taste and preferences. The food came (quick for how busy it is 12 min) The food tastes just like a grandmas food that she's been working the entire day on it. I can't wait to be back here. Also I didn't have anything the entire day and couldn't finish my plate because the amount of food is way more than decent. Place is clean, music is great and volume even better, you can see families bringing their babies to enjoy meals here. Also everyone that works here and so nice and polite even if they're not serving you this is my favorite place from now on and I will not shut about it haha adding a picture of my drink (which we are repeating ) and plate that I'll be bringing the leftover home

3.5 Despite having…read morenerdy tendencies, this wasn't the place for me. I'm thinking that I experienced it in its weaker era. I came here on a work trip so there was a LOT going on: food buffets, bar mania, games of all sorts. Had I come here with a group of friends to play games and sip on a drink I think I would have had a different (read: better) experience. That said, I appreciate that B&B exists and what it's trying to do. Despite being here as part of a big group, the staff was perfectly lovely and patient. That's not always the case when it comes to dealing with large groups. The food menu is confusingly large and caters to about every taste.* I got a little grossed out at the thought of eating around so much dust. Board games and consoles are dirty/dusty. They show both easily. Eating around/in that didn't appeal to me. What *did* appeal to me, though, was the thought of drinking a potion. From the glass (straight up D&D) to the color (blue), I was all in. The Mana Potion had a lot of the right elements (gin, blue curacao, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and Sprite) but the extra zhuzh for our party was team too much. The edible glitter made the drink a bit thick and didn't do wonders for my stomach. It's a tough criticism because I was here for an extra sparkly drink/potion. Definitely on brand. For me, Battle & Brew is an odd space that could benefit from some editing. But, it looks like I am in the minority. I can agree with not being the target audience. So, gamers, have at it! *I didn't experience much in the way of GF/DF/VG options but, again, target audience.

I was truly excited to try this place because it is such a cool concept. Went yesterday for dinner…read morewith my husband, daughter, and my friend and her daughter. We opted for the board games for $7 so that we could play together at the table while we ate, which is a great idea in theory but the execution left a lot to be desired. Most of the games we tried to play were old, dirty (yuck), and incomplete. For example, we were unable to play Guess Who because both the red and blue lineups were missing people and many of the people cards were torn into pieces. We were able to play What Do You Meme, but it was obvious that most of the meme cards were missing, so we had to stop abruptly when we ran out of new cards. Since people are eating and playing, effort should be made to keep the games clean, or at the very least, provide hand sanitizer at each table so that guests aren't grossed out about handling dirty game pieces in between grabbing bites of their sandwich or other finger food. I just feel like even though $7 for board game play is reasonable, it felt far less justifiable after experiencing the issues I just explained. If you are going to charge people any amount to use the games, ensuring that those games are complete and sanitary seems like a reasonable expectation. Service was okay but most of the food did not even meet the okay standard. We started with mozerrela sticks, which were okay. The fries with all our meals were obviously the frozen bagged kind you can find at any grocery store. They added seasoning but it's not enough to hide the fact that you are eating frozen fries at a sit down restaurant. My husband ordered the Don't Call It Hotlanta chicken sandwich and I think that was probably the best tasting thing we all ordered. I ordered the ATLA with cheese and did not like it very much. The bread was too crispy, the cheese was cold, and the overall flavor just didn't do it for me. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese with a side of fries. It does say on the menu that it is Kraft mac and cheese. She didn't complain, but she's 12 and not too picky so no surprise there. I had a soda water, my daughter had a sprite, and my husband had two mixed drinks (I think margaritas). Our total bill including the $7 for a crappy board game experience came out to $94 before tip. It was not worth it and I would never return for dinner nor can I recommend that others consider this a worthy dinner spot. Nevertheless, it would be a cool spot to come to with a big group of friends to play the computer and video games while enjoying a few drinks and maybe an appetizer or two. I could see that being a fun experience and would be open to returning to play the video games with friends or maybe one of their event nights like trivia that sounds like a good time, but I won't come back specifically for dinner because there are far better place to get a far superior meal for that price around here. So, at the end of the day, two stars is my review for the dinner and board game experience, but it would probably be closer to a 4 for just video games and drinks or events because I don't think there is anything else like it around here. I am not 100% on pricing for the video games but I think I saw something like $20 per hour, which I think might be a little pricey. However, I am not a big gamer myself so I may not be the best judge of that.
