Absolutely come for the rolls again! Ha! We stopped somewhere for dinner every time we come up to Lake Livingston and since we were approaching dinner time, we decided to get Roadhouse! Love that they have the option to join a waitlist online, which we did and we were seated immediately when we got there. Quinn was our server and he was very intentive, nice and quick with the service. Hard working young man right there! The place is very casual and a family friendly environment. I got the herb chicken with mashed potatoes and corn; my bf got the steak, garden salad, and green beans. Food tasted good, price point was great, and service was even better!

Was in the mood for a steak without the high price tag attached so we settled for Roadhouse..We went the day before mother's day which was a little busier however it was just the two of us so we only had to wait about 15 to 20 mins to be seated. We order the Porterhouse, onion bomb, and the Texas selection with baked potatoes. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The margaritas was so freaking good. The only downside was the waitress she was wondering around instead of attending to her customers. However I did notice waitress Karissa doing an amazing job (I wish she was out waitress) we literally had to bother the managers walking around to ask for things that she neglected to bring.

No line so we were sat as soon as we walked in. We got our drinks and food ordered. That was about the only time the waiter stopped by to ask if we needed anything or if everything was good. He did keep passing around us but never in his section. We only got one drink since the waiter never came by and as you can see my cup just sat for rest of our time there. Wanted some sauce for my food but no luck. So I sat there eating bread. Finally when the waiter showed up we asked for a box and bread to go which BTW had hair stuck to it. Def.not coming back.

Stopped by Saturday night the waitlist wait time was 35-45 minutes. After waiting for over 45 minutes I decided to go check and she said they had paged me over 20 mins ago to which I replied I never got the message she was rude about it but sat us down a few minutes later. We wanted the combo with the rattle snakes but they were out of them, the wings and potato skins were cold, my steam was supposed to be medium and was more well done than it should've been, I also wanted the ribs but they were also out of them. Would not recommend

texas roadhouse is always packed for a reason and its because they serve up some good homestyle food. Great food as always can't beat it, prices on the menu does not disappoint even with todays inflation. i really enjoy either the chicken fried chicken or the chicken fried steak, it never miss on flavor and the the breading is good and tender the Sides are awesome and go well with any dish on the menu, i love there buttered corn, mash & steak fries also the baked potato is good but i prefer is loaded with bacon, cheese, & sour cream. oh yea! the hot yeast rolls with that cinnamon butter is a amazingly delicious and can be addicting we usely get a couple baskets of the bread rolls thats how good they are. The service is great I never had an issue here with that it's always friendly and attentive every time me and the family go. always when i leave i take a few bags of there salted bagged peanuts such a great snack. i know things are not perfect and things happen like long wait times or service can be a miss but this place does get really packed on some nights. Texas roadhouse is a chain resturant but this good place to eat at.

I've been to location twice and the main issue is they are not set up for large groups. Just went tonight with a group of 9 people for my daughter's birthday. They tried to squeeze 9 of us into a booth that fit no more then 6 people. We ended up having to be split up. But other than that the service is good. The food is good and prices are fair. If you are a smaller group then you shouldn't have any issue. Larger groups I would look elsewhere.

For Houston Restaurant Weeks, they're offering a 4-course dinner for only $39, and when I tell you it is a GREAT value... whew! The portions are generous and you are definitely not leaving hungry! My choices were: 1st Course: Bourbon Glazed Bacon 2nd Course: Dinner Salad 3rd Course: Salmon Bianca with Brussels sprouts 4th Course: Cheesecake EVERYTHING was delicious! The Bourbon Glazed Bacon was thick-cut, sweet, smoky and so good. The Salmon Bianca was another winner with that lemon butter sauce on top. By the time dessert came around, I was STUFFED! I had so much food left that I had lunch for the next day. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their meals, and it made my uncle's 80th birthday celebration even more special. If you're looking for somewhere to try during Houston Restaurant Weeks, Saltgrass is definitely worth adding to the list! Four courses, huge portions and delicious food for $39?! You really can't beat it! Highly recommend! 10/10!

Sadly, that was where the good times ended. The decor is an eclectic mix of studio pictures from the attached photography studio. Random yet quaint. The hilarity of brown paper bags stuffed with white claws at the other tables lent a certain added character to the eatery. Certainly interesting. It is a BYOB establishment so you will be left drinking canned sodas or tea. Not a huge issue, but certainly sad. We ordered the lobster bisque as an appetizer. Fishy. I'm not afraid of fishy but I fully expect lobster to be sweet and the bisque to add a burst of creaminess. It was very obviously not fresh lobster. For entrees we ordered the lobster Mac and Cheese and the Blackened Stuffed Flounder. First, the lobster was no less fishy in the Mac and Cheese which was bland and not very flavorful. Secondly, the flounder was a huge disappointment. It wasn't blackened so didn't have that familiar character flavor profile. It was soft throughout. Like a pile of bland mush with zero flavor or texture. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't previously frozen and possible microwaved. To fail on all levels beyond the service is inexplicable. Sadly, this will not be on the rotation of wonderful restaurants to visit in the Kingwood area.

The pecan crusted chicken was dry and the sauce on top of it was too sweet The lamb chops were thoroughly enjoyed by the guest, who ate them All of the desserts could've been sent back because they just weren't any good. The ambience and atmosphere was great because you could hear each other. Talk and enjoy conversation. However, my all in all score of this restaurant is unfavorable. I won't be going back. The reviews that I have seen in the past are nowhere close to what was reality. The best thing that I ate tonight in the restaurant was the warm rolls with the butter.

The average wait was about 50 minutes, so it was nice being able to wait at home and head out when our table was almost ready. It was my first time visiting this location, and it did not disappoint. Noah's service was top-notch! He was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the 20 oz. Ribeye and the 8 oz. Sirloin. The 20 oz. ribeye seemed a bit smaller than usual, but the food was still great. The mashed potatoes were definitely the standout side dish. If I had one piece of feedback, it would be that the floor in our booth and the seats were covered in bread crumbs. It may have been due to how busy Father's Day was, but the dining experience would have been even better if the area had been swept. Other than that, the food and service were excellent. Definitely ask for Noah if you get the chance!

He tried to eat it, but it had a bitter taste from being overcooked and ultimately had to send it back. The remake was good. My husband ordered the chicken fried chicken, and while it was okay, it didn't taste as good as it did when we last visited about three months ago. I ordered the shrimp appetizer, the flavor was good, but it wasn't as crispy as it should have been. We also had the Brussels sprouts, but the usual sauce they are tossed in seemed to be missing, along with that crispy texture we have enjoyed before. When we first arrived, there was trash under our table, which wasn't appreciated. We did ask for it to be swept, and they handled it quickly. However, the person who swept seemed to have a bit of a bad attitude, though she did take care of it promptly. It was very busy, so perhaps the staff was stretched thin. On a positive note, our waitress was very attentive and kind, which we truly appreciated. They also brought out a complimentary ice cream sundae for my dad's birthday, which was such a sweet touch. We even got to see our favorite waitress, Brandy... she didn't serve us this time but came over to say hello, and that meant a lot. Thank you for helping us celebrate. We're hopeful our next visit will feel more like the experiences we've loved in the past.
