Service was perfectly timed and my waitress was very pleasant. Started with the grilled shrimp and a hurricane margarita. Both very delicious. The fresh rolls with the cinnamon butter are still the best thing about this restaurant. I ordered a T-bone, cooked medium, and it simply melted in my mouth. I did not get any toppings for the steak and did not use any condiments. Buttered corn and green beans were the side dishes and both tasted fresh. The restaurant, including the gals' room, was clean. You have some of the nicest staff I have ever had. Everyone from the person answering the phone to the ones bringing the bread, to the waitress, to the one bringing the entrees- just really pleasant staff you should be proud of, especially since most are so young. I don't know why this place has low reviews but I had a gift card and it was my first time here. Working at a restaurant is not easy these days, especially during covid but we were really happy. I treated my parents to a meal and we had a margarita and cheesecake also that were really good. For the 3 of us plus leftovers we took home it was under $50. We had shrimp, steak, and the bbq Chicken sandwich with fries which were great. Fries were crispy and the chicken melted in your mouth. We have been to fancier/ pricier restaurants that left us disappointed. I didn't have high expectations coming here but this place was great. The only things were they could have put more shrimp, the side of corn was just canned corn with spices it seemed, and the sauce we got with the shrimp was just seasoned oil. But for the price, especially the chicken sandwich and fries, it was bang for your buck. Worth the trip here. Your staff and atmosphere are really great, and we had a pleasant experience and would come back here. We tipped our waitress well because she deserved it and these are hard times during covid. Not only did the bartender Tim remember my name but it was as if I was just in there a week ago . These guys are the best from Christine, Tim Courtney to Mallory the mgr. along with Libby and Lindsey they really make you feel like family when you come into the place. The food is excellent but the service is even better. Been here 12 days and have eaten there 3 times so far. Even with the situation we are in they make it a pleasure to eat dinner there. Entrees are anywhere from $10-20 on average.They do have a children's menu. It's also nice that they give you rolls and peanut s to start with. The noise level is fairly loud. The tables, chairs and booths need some tlc. If your going here I would recommend calling ahead if you are going in the evening or on the weekend. read more

Came in after an 11 hour day of work and had Brittany for our server. She was AWESOME. She took our order right away, made sure we had all we needed quickly and efficiently without hovering. The food was just what I wanted. Hearty, satisfying, hot when served, steak perfectly cooked to my preference, yummy. My family just visited this location for dinner and the service was less than par. The initial wait wasn't unreasonable as it was only about 10 min around 4pm on a Sunday evening. However the wait for food was rediculous. We ordered and it took well over 30 min to get our food. To top it off they brought out one of our meals while the other 4 of us had to sit for another 15 min before the rest of the food arrived. Meanwhile all of the other tables around us we're sat, ordered, and served before us. Wether it was the kitchens fault or our waitress we never received any apologies for the delay. My wife and two of our dearest friends decided to visit this location for the first time together. All of us had been there before but just as a single couples. We used call-ahead seating and only had to wait about 15 minutes. The waiter came by promptly to see about drinks. A short time later we ordered. The salad I ordered was nicely prepared with lots of ingredients, unlike other places that think a salad is some lettuce and a tomato. Everyone's meals came out in a fair amount of time. Our friends had no issues with their meals, unlike my wife and I. She found her baked potatoes had way too much salt on the skins, so she only ate the insides. BTW, she likes to eat the skins but could not eat these. Usually I order a rack of ribs, which have always been amazing. I have recommended Texas Roadhouse to everyone who had asked me to direct them to a "rib joint". So, you can only imagine how disappointed I was to find the ribs delivered with the combo meal were nothing like ones I had eaten there many times before. They were lukewarm, extremely dry and all too chewy. All previous ribs I had there were moist and almost melt in your mouth. Rather than make a fuss, I took a few bites and did not eat the rest. It still wasn't Makers. As I was leaving I called him on it again and he pulled out a new bottle, opened it in front of me and we compared. It was night and day. He tried it and agreed it tasted different. He couldn't explain why there was shitty whisky in the Makers bottle. Seems obvious to me. Someone put it in there to save money or because they stole the Makers and replaced it with cheap stuff. This is fraud. My wife and I had the best experience at dinner that we have had in a very long time. 2/9/2020, we arrived and asked for a booth. We were greeted with such politeness, smiles, positive attitude. We were shown to our table within the time we were told that there would be one available. Our waiter, SION was an absolute pleasure to have as our waiter. That man was knowledgeable about the food, checked on a concern about a mixed drink ingredient, and was on his game. We ordered steaks, prepared just as we asked, and exactly as SION described the finish product. We were very happy to be able to taste the steak and not the overpowering spices other steak restaurants use. I am very strict about tipping, if we are not happy, tipping is cut. Not the case this time. We were happy to give SION 20%. This is quite a big deal to me, I usually only go 17% max. Some may say I'm cheap, not so, I work hard for what I spend. My boyfriend raves about this place so we came here for dinner. I recommend calling in advance to prevent waiting time. We came around 6:30 and we still had to wait 45 - 50 mins. The place was packed on a Saturday so you know it's good. We got his favorite which was the prime rib with sweet potato and house salad as sides. Portions are huge, you can definitely share it between two people. Our food all came in less than 10 mins. At first our steak was cooked a bit rare when we requested medium rare but the server took it back to have it recooked and it came out fine. The service is great here, they are very attentive and they constantly checked up on us to see if we needed anything and asked us how the food was. Overall even though it's a chain, I still liked it. The steak was superb, I've never had prime rib but the meat was tender and I loved the sauce it came with which was au jus. Very flavorful, tender and almost melts in your mouth kind of steak. For the price you pay, it's incredibly cheap for steak. Worth checking out! Try to make reservations ahead of time if you can. We went here on a Friday night and the place was hopping. Everyone was in a festive mood and ready to eat! The Texas Roadhouse can be a great place to go with the family for casual dining and spirits. We were seated fairly promptly but they did not offer crayons and a children's menu for my daughter. Too bad our server was the worst. He really did not know how to make things run smoothly and he overcharged us for a couple of items. My husband thinks the Texas Roadhouse is a nightmare for vegetarians ... and I guess he is right since they really did not give him anything very good ... especially when the "veggie" green beans came with meat in it. He asked our server if the green beans were vegetarian and he said yes. He was wrong! In addition, our server did not bring us frosted mugs with our beers like other guests around us received. I ended up going to the bar myself to get frosty mugs and our waiter did not even notice. My dad had a hard time getting a second glass of wine because our server could not be found. When it came time for a little treat for my daughter ... we asked for a children's dessert and a little Happy Birthday amusement. Our server brought over a brownie sundae without a birthday candle dropped it off and just walked away. My 3-year old even asked for a candle to blow out and the guy never returned with one. We were charged full price for an adult dessert. And ... my daughter should have been charged less for her children's salad too ... he charged us for an adult's salad as well. What a birthday bust for a little girl. Thank goodness we had other plans for the weekend that included birthday candles and lots of birthday songs. First time trying it we from queens New York 3 1/2 hour drive. We called and was told the wait was 80-90 min. We got there 1 hour after the phone call and waited for another 35 min our waiter was Kylie really nice girl. The food was amazing !!! Deff worth the wait my wife and son enjoy the chicken with veggies. My wife loved the steak with the bbq chicken sauce. My full racked ribs was delicious it was worth those 95 minutes wait. Tonight, was by far, the worst experience my family has ever encountered at a restaurant. We have gotten better services at McDonalds. My husband called in for our party of 11 (2 Infants, 3 Children and 6 Adults). He was not given an estimated wait time nor an arrival time. She told him our code was 701 and followed with a goodbye. She did not ask if we needed any accommodations, which is simple phone etiquette. When we were seated our tables were diagonal from one another. They did not have the decency to ask us if that would be okay. When I spoke to the lady in charge of the host stand, she became annoyed by my request to be seated together. She did not have a name tag, but her shirt said she was the manager. I used to be a hostess and I would always ask if that was okay, and never assumed. The hostess' set the tone of your customers experience, and she left a negative impression. My sister in law was walking by and overheard a conversation between our original waitress and a fellow colleague about us. The colleague asked where we went, and our waitress said, "I don't fucking know.." My sister in law approached them and explained that we were separated and wanted to be seated together for the special occasion. Today is my mother's birthday and one we will never forget. When we were seated the second time, we were still at separate tables. Jill was our waitress and did a horrific job. She took longer than Alicia did to greet us and take our orders. Our 8-month-old spilled my husbands sprite, and no one offered to help us clean the mess. I went up to Jill, I asked for napkins and a refill. It took a while for the refill and she did not help us clean, she did not ask if we were okay and she did not bring us extra napkins. She never asked if we wanted more bread, and we had to ask for our refills. Her nametag said she has worked for Texas Road House for 7 years. She should know the company's values and stick by them. Alicia was serving my brother's family and was constantly on top of things. She even asked if my nephew needed another apple juice. She did not feed into the negativity that your staff had created. When our food was brought to us all 3 steaks were burnt along with my husband's pork chop. I will attach a photo. I wish I had pictures of our steaks. If this was brought to you, would you eat it? I walked up to Alicia and told her about my mother's steak. She took it back but stopped to complain about the request to another colleague. The manager on duty brought another steak, and my side of corn that was forgotten. The manager seemed unexperienced and in a hurry. We asked that the bill be put under one check and Jill could not follow a simple request. The only positive experience was when the staff sung happy birthday to my mom. I am a Store Manager and I have high expectations from my staff. This behavior is unacceptable. This place is really well run. Stick with the fantastic steaks and ribs; chicken & fish not as good. Favorite steak is the Ft Worth ribeye. Love that they offer at least 1 local IPA beer on tap. It used to be the Lancaster Brewing Co IPA, lately it was Victory HopDevil IPA - both are really good. Love that they're open on Sunday, which is very rare for this area. Your experience starts with a bucket of free peanuts in the shell, which is really fun. Usually they slightly overcook steaks. What they consider "medium rare" might be considered "medium" at an upscale steakhouse. Once I got an overcooked steak and they were happy to redo my meal. Once I ordered a rare steak, and it was a true rare (almost completely red). In general, I order "medium rare" and it falls within a range that I'm happy with. A few recommendations for families: - The "Ranger" kids meals are more money than the other kids meals, but much higher quality (same meats as the adult meals). - Order your meals immediately when waiter comes to take your drink order, otherwise service is too slow for kids. - If you are ordering appetizers or side salads (which are served first), ask for kids meals to be delivered with those. - Use the Call-Ahead seating to minimize waiting at the restaurant. read more

Girlfriend's chicken was dry, the steak was first served wrong, then discovered to be the wrong cut altogether. Baked potatoes were burnt. The chili was the exact same stuff I occasionally buy in a can. I was supposed to be happy that I was not charged fifty cents for the mushrooms I didn't order in the first place. It was a horrible, horrible meal that ruined the date. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and fun to talk with, even if the guy showing us to our booth did keep craning his neck to look down my girlfriend's shirt. Ya know, this is a chain restaurant, so, never set your expectations high, no matter how delicious the table leaflets or commercials look. BUT, I always feel like Texas Roadhouse sets that bar for chain eateries. Amirite? Huge parking area, so, parking isn't too much of an issue. When it is busy, it can be hard to find spots close to the door, however, there are always spots. It's a matter of whether you're willing to walk. Some spots are far, & around the building. I live in an area where there are no TX Roadhouses. Sooo, when I am in the Lancaster area to visit my parents, we always come here for great food, at a crazy reasonable price. Honestly, we have been coming here for YEARS. Consistency is key. Price point for quality & expectations, this TX Roadhouse stands above other locations. Bathrooms are clean & filled w/necessities. That is always a plus. I've read some reviews regarding the service, & wasn't surprised. This location tends to, what seems, hire inexperienced staff, whom, are not thoughtful or empathetic, to say the least. This is not to say sèrvice sucks because we have had terrrrible service; but, we've had phenomenal service too. There are 2 incidents' that come to mind, but I will share the 1 reason we stopped attening TXR. We came to this location, & my father, a vet & handicap, was belittled by the 16 yr old hostess because he couldn't sit in the abnormally tight booth she was trying to have us sit. She made us, including my father, stand & wait by the table, in a verrry busy walkway, all-while, servers squeeeeezed by us, w/hot food & trays of icey-cold drinks. Granted, to the hostess' defense, we didn't ask for anything specific; but, I was a hostess at a chain similar to TX Roadhouse & if I ever treated a guest like my father was treated, I would have been fired. Part of the job is to take note. Isn't it obvious, a man, crippled w/a cane, & having an issue walking, is not one that you walk to a booth in the far section of the restaurant? That took place in December 2015 & we have not stepped foot in a TX Roadhouse since. My father refused to visit this eatery for over a year....until I finally convinced him w/a gift card. Thank goodness we had a MUCH more pleasant visit this time around & our server, Courtney, won my Dad over. He said he'll now, visit again. Courtney went above and beyond, AND w/a sincere smile on her face. Little did she know, she was winning back regular customers. Seriously, thank you Courtney for such a memorable night. I secretly told her how it was my mom's birthday, & she came over, after dinner, with the TX Roadhouse crew, including a horse, & let, me, tell, you.... they made a scene. My mom laughed & was so embarassed, but, she is still talking about that night!!! It was so memorable & with the help of Courtney's enthusiasm & kindness, hearing my mom giggle like a school-girl is a priceless gift. 5 million stars to Courtney. As for food, I have seen some reviews about the wrong meat or wrong size or wrong temperature on steaks, but, we have been fortunate not to have any sort of issue regarding food. In fact, the reason we have returned, time after time, is for the consistency of our meals. Some of our favorite items include: snake bites - fried jalapeño cheese balls, they are similar to Jalapeño Poppers, but not nearly as spicy. These are my sister's favorite appetizer, so we always order them as soon as we sit down. The fresh baked rolls are served per table, & the best part? The whipped cinnamon butter in a shouffle cup on top of the warm buns. Try not to fill up on the warm bread and bucket of peanuts. Just try. I don't think I have ordered anything other than the 6oz filet at any TX Roadhouse. The deal is killer. Price point to quality & consistency, it's hard to steer away from what I know. I also LVE A1. Ok, shoot me. You love A1 too, don't lie. I normally choose a salad & applesauce as my 2 sides. I use to get the baked beans, but those are no longer on the menu. Booo.
