Earlier tonite we parked outside in the curbside takeout stalls. Started off with good customer service but when we got our order... we always check to make sure that we have everything correct so we don't drive off without something... come to find out that we didn't get our sides for the steak and shrimp orders. Also didn't get any utensils or sauce for the 2 orders of chicken tenders. Then we get back to the hotel room ready to eat and they didn't even cook our steak the way that we asked! We asked for our steaks to be cooked well done and got it cooked more on the rare side. I would've have took a picture of the steaks before I wrote this review to include but I already went down to the lobby hotel and used the damn microwave to finish cooking the steaks to our liking! We went for my birthday meal last evening. We had two Dallas steaks. My steak was a 6 oz hubbys was 8oz. I ordered my steak prepared medium and his was to be prepared medium well. My steak came out well done, over done and my husbands was medium. Our son and fiancée also were missing toppings on their steaks. Service wasn't stellar either as she never checked back with us until it was time for the bill. We come to this Texas Roadhouse quite often. Tonight was exceptional due to the great waitress that we had. She was perfect right on top of everything. Her name was Dominique. The best waitress ever. If food is great but there was bad service we do not go back. Rarely does a waitress come back and ask how everything was . She did . She was right on top of everything at all times. Had unfortunate experiences this weekend. A friend wanted to go here for a steak. No idea why she picked this place, oh well I rolled with it since it was her birthday. Call ahead seating worked well. We did not have long to wait and were seated with a couple baskets of their rolls with cinnamon butter, that was the best part of the whole night. Order drinks and I ordered the fried pickles appetizer for the table. After everyone's salads started coming out, I asked if the appetizer was coming. She forgot to even put them in. She asked if I still wanted them, said yes but after tasting them I wished I said no. We couldn't believe how salty they were. Dinners arrived just a few min later. Just looking at my pork chop I could tell it was overcooked and hard as a rock. I cut down the middle, yep, so dry I had to send it back. I did order it medium so should have been juicy and slightly pink. Asking around the table, not one person had a steak cooked to the temp they asked for. My wife ordered Catfish. She ate one of the three pieces but could not eat any more. I tasted it and it was horrible. She didn't want to send it back though. She ended up not feeling well after dinner, probably all the old oil the fish was cooked in as that's all I could taste. As a local in Lancaster, I do not know why anyone would go out here. There are plenty of restaurants for a steak. If your a tourist, I'd advise looking else where. You could probably go to any of the restaurants next to the roadhouse and get a better meal. read more

I'm only taking one Star away but it's not really something I think can be control, the amount of wait time can be longer then estimated. However our experience was great. I want to praise our server Neal. They where an amazing server. We were ready right away to order and Neal got out drink and food to us so quickly. Our wait time was 100% longer than our service. We have been here twice now and had excellent food both times. Each time they were slammed. Always use the wait list feature and you won't have to wait so long! The first time we went, several aspects of the order were incorrect, but it was addressed quickly and efficiently. The second time, our server did an amazing job keeping our drinks filled and making sure everything was to our liking. As always, the food was amazing (I ordered spare ribs, green beans--a favorite--and a loaded baked potato, and my husband ordered the steak with chicken breast, steak fries and apple sauce). We also got a cactus blossom. You can tell the staff enjoy working here; you could see them working well together (we were near a computer station), and helping one another out. This restaurant is the best in Lancaster Pa and is a 5 star establishment. From the minute you walk in and you're greeted by the group of hosts one of whom walks you to your table to the food itself is all 5 star. The freshly baked bread basket with cinnamon butter is amazingly soft and sweet. The service is prompt the food is superb too just top of the line. We sat at the bar after walking around a lot in Lancaster and we were hungry. Bartender was named either Aliya or Alicia and was absolutely incredible. She just made us feel great with a smile and asked if we wanted a drink and some bread to start off with. Best bread rolls around! She just kept checking on my wife and I and took care of everything. Been there once before, same situation, Christmas Shopping. Covid19 makes everything more difficult but even the Manager came to bring our food out and say hello. Very disappointed in our service we received this past Sunday at Texas Roadhouse. We had Jeff and he was slow, forgetful, brought 2 orders of the same thing. I ended up digging through it and eating the meat inside. They are supposed to be emailing me a free entree coupon since that happened. Came here for dinner tonight with my family. I tried to call ahead and have my name down to cut down my wait time...the system is really bad. Instead of talking to a real person, I need to press this number and then another number...I ended up hanged up. This is the reason why I took one star off. I love Longhorn's call ahead...you talk to a real person at once! Anyway, after a 45 min wait, we were greeted warmly. The service is excellent..our server Ethan is very nice. The steak came out perfect, maybe just a touch too salty. We had 12 oz prime rib, and new york strip. The sauteed mushroom is to die for. The bread is very warm and fresh. We all tried something different tonight. We had a Sirloin steak, Barbecue chicken, we had a barbecue chicken and sirloin steak duo, and then a hamburger. The appetizer was very good and then also one of our side dishes was smothered french fries. The only thing I would say is that our food took a really long time in coming. I've been to this location multiple times it's usually the spot my family will get together at for dinner. I have never had any problems with staff or food. The restaurant is clean, has a large waiting area (with peanuts to snack on), and a lot of seating in the main restaurant. Wait times are sometimes bad if you just walk in but since doing the call aheads or checking in on there app o never had to wait more than 20 minutes even when there was a party of 7. They are amazing at accommodating infants/toddlers there high chair actually slides right into the booth so your not in anyone's way. Not to mention the unlimited free rolls with cinnamon butter that they have! All of there food is amazing never had any issues with it or needing to send it back. Their mixed drinks are also very good and in my opinion reasonably priced for what you get. And the little extra bonus if your there long enough the employees line dance every hour! read more

Alright Texas Roadhouse location. Love walking in and seeing the steaks all lined up for the choosing. Cool, laid back vibe is always a plus. Food is great. Blooming onion was incredible and entirely too much food, even for four of us. Steaks are outstanding. Nice and juicy. Like that you can see the grillmaster cooking away through the window. No complaints with the food. Minor issues: One of the main attractions here are the peanuts, but our table was without them. I probably wouldn't have had any, but kind of odd. Maybe because we can in just before close, but there was still a wait. Also, the entire table next to us sent their food back. Don't know why. When they got it back, they all decided without taking a bite to just leave. Never seen that before, but as you probably guessed, they were elderly. It has been at least a year since I have had enough money to venture out on my own for a great steak. My wife loves Red Lobster, me not so much. I am a steak person through and through and this trip was incredible for me. Before Lonestar closed up in the mid 2000's it was honestly my choice of steak around here. But I had to move on, and while the Outback is also around, I am a Texas Roadhouse person at heart. Probably the time of day, but I arrived shortly on Monday May 6th and was promptly greeted by the wait staff. Within five minutes of arriving I was seated, had a waiter assigned to my table and was ordering. TOUCHE I say! I really don't care for the cinnamon sugar mixture for my roles, and was not really there for the rolls. To be honest the rolls tasted "Off", and did not have the same yeast like smell I remember them for, but I wasn't for there for the rolls anyway. If I wanted rolls I would have made them fresh at home. My order consisted of a Medium Well 16 ounce Texas Ribeye with baked potato with bacon, sour cream, butter and cheddar cheese. I also ordered a side salad, no eggs with ranch dressing, bowl of the yummy chili, and a strawberry daiquiri, with a side of water. About 10 minutes after I arrived the chili and salad came out. So yummy and deliciousness that I remember. I scarfed that down waiting for the main course and was not disappointed. OH BOY, OH BOY, OH BOY! The steak and baked potato arrived. First thing I had to eat was a tip of the steak with its tip that was done to my liking. I think I savored that first bite for what seemed like forever. Now that is what a great grilled steak should take like! It was incredible. Did I say I loved it? Can you say better than sex? This was outstanding. Yeah it was good, but the thing next was the price. Guess I need bigger glasses, but that Texas Roadhouse offered a 20% discount to military/veterans on Monday. Well I normally don't take part in the discount programs at most restaurants, but I did here. My meal would have been originally around $34.00 if I remember right, but with the discount it came in under $28.00. A win for me. We have come to appreciate consistency at Texas Roadhouse, and I've been to perhaps a dozen around the country. We had the rattlesnake bites for a sampler (free as a birthday present thru email club) and I thought it would be like chicken nuggets. NOT! it's basically a fried cheese ball with jalapeno to give it a kick. Nice starter. The other appetizers are good, but are filling and I want to enjoy the main entree. I had side salad with vinegar and oil, 1/2-lb BBQ chicken breast and sweet potato (Picture). I'm watching what I eat and this was a good choice. There is not much that won't break the daily fat gram targets and even this did. Wife had 10-oz prime rib RARE (picture), house salad and chili. She didn't care for the chili, and i sampled it...it tasted like they dumped a lot of chili powder in for taste...too much. We RARELY send anything back, and asked if we could substitute a sweet potato and they were happy to make us happy. So here the chili, and at another location the dried out pulled pork drowning in sweet BBQ sauce have been the only major mistakes made by Texas Roadhouse. Stick to steaks and prime rib, steamed vegetables (broccoli alone on request), and baked potatoes, and you won't be disappointed. read more

Been in town now 5 months working and I have to say.. by far the not only the friendliest bartenders but for that matter from the moment you step inside your treated like family. My hat goes off to all of them.. I have yet to either have a bad meal or experience there .. unlike the other place in the same parking lot. I'm so disgusted with what I saw after having such a great dinner. Food was delicious, service was fantastic.... As we were walking out after having a great dinner, me and my husband both saw the guy who prepared and cooked the rolls, place the raw dough ON HIS HEAD Like he was wearing a dough hat. He then threw the raw dough back on the counter to be cooked. We both looked at him confused, and said did you really just do that?? (It's an open window to the kitchen right but entrance). He said what I'm throwing it out... I said ok let me see it thrown out. He tossed in garbage and said "happy now?".... I said you're disgusting. Service was perfectly timed and my waitress was very pleasant. Started with the grilled shrimp and a hurricane margarita. Both very delicious. The fresh rolls with the cinnamon butter are still the best thing about this restaurant. I ordered a T-bone, cooked medium, and it simply melted in my mouth. I did not get any toppings for the steak and did not use any condiments. Buttered corn and green beans were the side dishes and both tasted fresh. The restaurant, including the gals' room, was clean.
