Boneless buffalo wings with Bleu cheese
    Lori H.

Mimi was our server and she was awesome. The food didn't blow us away but it was good and prices were reasonably affordable. We should have tried their steaks or signature courses but were there for lunch and didn't want anything too heavy. The servings were plentiful. The Buffalo wings were boneless bite sized and not spicy. We'd come back to try some better entree options since it is conveniently located in our area. Thank you.

My son loves Texas Roadhouse and that is where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner! So we ended up at the newish location in Leander. It opened this past November and I'm so glad we gave it a try. Pro tip, always join the waiting list before you arrive then check in as soon as you get there. I made the rookie mistake of getting on the list when we got there. Boo. So this caused us to have approximately a 40-minute wait. Because this location was booming. It has a huge parking lot and it was full. They do have a really nice outdoor patio waiting seating area as well as an indoor area. If you want the famous TX Roadhouse peanuts, you have to ask the receptionist and she'll give you a bag. Anywho, When we got a text I went to the receptionist and she directed my son and I to stand by the saddle and a hostess would come get us. I noticed they had five pre-staging stations and I guess the saddle was the 6th. That was a little awkward to have us there because it was right by the steak viewing And where the servers would pick up rolls and butter. Not the best place to have guests stand and wait. It took about 10 more minutes for a hostess to come get us and take us to our table. Want seated we were greeted by our server within 5 minutes. And from then on everything worked like clockwork up to the end of our visit when our server seem to be pretty busy so it took a little longer to get refills and togo boxes. Overall it was a great experience in this newer location. It was cool because the restaurant was super bright and I'm used to Texas Roadhouse being a little dim. But they did dim the lights around 7:30 p.m.. The food was consistent quality and delicious. We really liked the new twisted mozzarella sticks. They had a really good flavor and the cheese was cheesin! I always get the same thing, sweet tea, house salad, 8 oz sirloin with the baked potato and veggies. My son got the full rack of ribs with the side of fries and a loaded sweet potato. It was my birthday month and his birthday so they gave us a complimentary appetizer because I was a rewards member and had a coupon. For next visit I know to plan ahead and check in when I'm on my way. I definitely recommend this new location and we will definitely be back.

First time at this location. Clean dining area, friendly staff, great service, and great food. Expanded menu so you'll find something for everyone. Free peanuts !!!! It does get packed so show up before 5 PM or you may wait for an hour or more after that.

On 5/28/26 at 4:30 pm, we had a family dinner (5 adults and 2 Children) celebrating the High School graduation of our Grand Daughter. Parking: Ample spacious safe. Reservations: we not make one. Ambiance: Nice modern Texas family friendly steakhouse. Seating in our area for a party of 7, would be tight, if all tables were fully occupied. Wait time to be seated: 2 minutes, 4:00-4:30 pm before the Dinner Rush. Wait time to be served meals: 12-15 minutes. Amazing, considering we had a party of 7, with each order different, and with drinks and sides. Service: Our waitress Karina provided us with excellent, efficient, friendly, and subtle/polite suggestive sales. Price: Awesomely affordable due to before 5:00 pm special pricing. Quality: Excellent. All steaks/orders were exactly as ordered. Taste was also excellent. I highly recommend this Texas Roadhouse (Leander, Tx) .

Undercooked 8 oz NY strip. Ordered medium.
    Jenifer S.

Definitely order your steak or burger one level past what you want. This was medium on an 8 oz NY Strip. I cut in the middle of my steak and it was medium (hot pink center) but this last 1/3 was certainly undercooked. This usually happens when a cold piece of meat hits the grill or the grill has uneven hot spots. Learned that in culinary school. My son's 16 ounce NY was ok in the middle like mine, but was rare as he ate away from the center. Son's best buddy ordered a bacon cheese burger and it was quite rare in the middle and he also ordered medium. We showed the manager Jonah and he didn't seem surprised. Given the place was packed and we knew we'd have a wait for a fix, we all decided to take home food and reheat later except for the burger. Everything else was great: salads, loaded baked potatoes, side steamed veggie. Service was pretty good, drinks refilled, appetizer came out quickly, bread and butter came out 2x. We had a great experience when they first opened in Nov 2025 so this was a bit disappointing. Tomorrow morning we'll enjoy some steak tacos....

For this being such a new location, it was actually a really awesome experience. We were celebrating two birthdays, and they made it special for both of them. Everything was perfect when it came to the table, from the onion cactus blossom, to how the steaks were cooked! Our server, Chris, was awesome too. She made the experience extra special. She was on top of refills, and even remembered our grandbaby's name. Things like that go along way with us. One tip I will give, and it has nothing to do with the restaurant itself, is, don't ask Siri to take you there. It'll take you to a house in a neighborhood that is not that close. We will definitely be going back, to the restaurant, not the house! We'll leave those people alone. They're probably already wondering why so many people pull up and then turn around looking all sad and disappointed and confused.

    The rolls are amazing.

We had a great evening celebrating Nathan Hohn's birthday tonight. We visited the new Texas Roadhouse in Leander. It was a wonderful meal. Staff was super inviting and helpful. Nathan had the medallions and I went with the chicken. Everything came out perfect. We then came home and enjoyed Nathan's all white birthday cake. He loves Randal's cake as they make it with whipped cream. He is a fan of the plain white cake so that's what he got. All in all it was a great night of celebrating Nathan. The place is a little loud but still not overwhelming in my opinion. We had a great time.

Welcome to Leander Texas Roadhouse. Arrived 12:30, even though the parking lot was full, we were seated right away and our server, Adrenaline took great care of us. Unfortunately, both of our bacon cheeseburgers came out mixed up(not sure where that hiccup came from possibly were not marked coming out of the kitchen, possibly the server not Adrenaline that brought the burgers out to us) my medium went to my partner and his well-done came to me. After he took a bite we noticed. Here's where it gets a little tricky. The same burger was brought back instead of a fresh one, which wasn't ideal. My own burger was also incorrect and very messy, though they did replace it. There were a lot of trainees and managers on the floor, and I think the kitchen is still working out timing and accuracy. Adrenaline stayed apologetic and attentive, but overall both burger remakes took 15 additional minutes each. We were not able to enjoy our meals together. The price is right $34 for two burgers and one iced tea. We were charged $1.99 fee on the receipt which I inquired about, and they took it off, but it was something about the kiosk at the table. Must have touched a button to start a game in error. Wishing you the best. Fantastic decor, and plenty of team members. We were served by at least five team members not sure if that's usual and customary.

In an era where customer service seems to have gone downhill worldwide, this newly opened Texas Roadhouse bucks that trend. As soon as I walked in I was thoroughly impressed with the wide grinned smiles, friendly staff, and organized flow. Even with a booming restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, the staff was attentive, I was seated with minimal wait, and my food was received in a timely manner. Everyone seems to genuinely be happy and enjoy their jobs - a rare find these days! It's obvious whoever is doing the training and whomever was chosen as shift managers, are doing a phenomenal job! I let them know in person and they were thrilled for the compliment. The staff's friendliness certainly rubs off on patrons. It's nice to leave a restaurant less stressed and more happy! I'm excited to finally have a Texas Roadhouse nearby and will be a frequenter of this specific location!

Dallas steak (with mushrooms?) and baked potato

I understand being a new restaurant in town, and everybody is all "excited", but this place was a ZOO! First, (*like another reviewer said), the parking is not that great! I hope when they open Willie's and Estancia next door, they open it up. People were parking up in the dirt, and on the side of lot, making their own parking spots. As the other reviewer said, you will have to drive around and see if another person leaves to grab a spot! Second, GO EARLY (if going on weekend). If want "dinner", think of maybe doing "Linner"! AND, download the app, and get on waiting list, trust me, it helps a lot! We got there around 4PM on a Saturday, and it was starting to get busy. I told them I was on waiting list, they said to wait for text and then proceed to hostess stand. I immediately got a text and did so, but then, they put you over to the left in either spot "1,2, or 3" and you still wait. Then, a lady walked over with a pencil and small piece of paper. It is a comment sheet to fill out on your waiter/waitress and she said to hand back to hostess upon exiting. We waited for like another 10 minutes before seating. You could hear how loud the place was, and every table was filled. We sat in the middle of the restaurant, and Dominque was our initial waitress. I told her it was my husband's birthday (*if you have someone to celebrate, read online what they do to embarass them! LOL). We ordered our drinks, and an appetizer. I got thru app (and joined VIP club..no cost ) to get "Free app". I showed her the email confirmation. She came back, as she forgot what app we wanted. Another waitress brought me my drink was a margarita, but they forgot the extra shot, she would go get it, and for some reason, the bartender forgot my husband's drink, and she would go get that too. They came back with those drinks, and another waiter brought our appetizer. We ordered the Grilled Shrimp, which came with this small toast and kind of garlic mayo on the side. Not that impressed (did not get pic of it). Shortly after, our waitress came up and said she was leaving, and Ava would take over. Well, since this place as busy, it took awhile before we saw Ava. When she finally came over, we finally got to order our main meal. My husband got the Porterhouse steak (wanted the biggest they had for his birthday). I inquired what the "Dallas" steak was compared to the New York Steak. She said it was "thicker". I went with that, and decided to add mushrooms. Both of us got our Cesar Salads quickly. Took a little while to get our main meals, and again, delivered by a different waiter. Shortly after, Ava did check on us to make sure it came out ok. Both us liked our steaks. I was not fond of the "mushrooms", which just looked like "burnt" pieces on top.. I tried them anyways, just to see if they had any flavor with the steak. Nope. I just pushed them off to the side. My husband had the steak fries, which were just ok he said. I got the baked potato which was good. Then, they came up and sang for my husband's birthday, and wanted him to sit on a saddle (he did not want to), and was totally embarrassed (Yeah! LOL). It took awhile for Ava to check back. She asked if we wanted dessert. We said we would take the cheesecake to go. She came back later with the paper tab, and said we could pay at the table monitor thing. I did not see the charge for the cheesecake, so I thought, maybe for his birthday, he got for free. We paid thru the table monitor, and waited, and waited....and Ava never came back. The plates from our main meal was still on our table. My husband filled out that comment sheet, and one of the questions, was "Did they clear your plates"....and he circled "no". We walked up front, a little disappointed. The front area, now being around 5:30ish, was even crazier! My husband barely got over to hostess to hand in the sheet. I barely go thru all the people and tried not to hit anyone with the door to just get out. It was good food, but the service and the atmosphere and the parking was just too much to handle. Don't think I would try again for some time.

It's Texas Roadhouse, you love it and you know what you're getting. Came in for the pre-opening friends and family event. Food was exactly what you'd expect from TR, great value and good steaks. Service was friendly in-spite of the steep learning curve they were going through. Don't fill up on the bread rolls like I did :) My only critique is the small (in relation to demand) parking lot. I'm sure as the hype subsides and the shopping center expands parking won't be such an issue. But for now, pull up, find someone leaving, then follow them to their car.

I decided it was finally time to give it another shot, and I'm so glad I did. First of all, the service was phenomenal. The employee who took my order ~I believe his name was Aidan~ did an amazing job. Not only did he take my order quickly and efficiently, but since I was dining in, he also brought my food out to my table, which I really appreciated. Everywhere I go I always order some kind of dirty Mac and cheese, which in this case is the chopped brisket with Mac and Cheese, even though it isn't listed on the menu as a meal. I usually know exactly what I want before I get to the register so I don't waste anyone's time, and Aidan knew exactly how to ring it up. The entire transaction took less than a minute but didn't feel rushed. The atmosphere was very relaxed on a Thursday evening. It wasn't very busy, but after this visit, I can definitely understand why people keep coming back. The food was excellent. The mac and cheese was perfectly cheesy, and the chopped brisket was moist and flavorful. To finish off the meal, I had a slice of apple crumb pie for dessert, and it was a great ending to an already fantastic experience. I'll definitely be coming back again soon perhaps to try the breakfast tacos next time. If this visit is any indication, I have high hopes for them. This has become one of my favorite experiences at a local restaurant, and I'm excited to return.

Rudy's BBQ should be the baseline, yet Lazy G doesn't even reach that. I ordered the ribs and brisket, hoping for something decent, but both were far below average. The brisket was especially disappointing--you could see the congealed fat right in the slices (see pictures). Serving meat at the right temperature is BBQ 101, and their failure here made the texture and flavor a cold, greasy mess. The sides weren't any better. The cucumber salad was bland, with just a dusting of dill and no seasoning whatsoever. Adding salt and vinegar should be a no-brainer, but apparently, even the basics were too much effort here. I was excited to try the smoked mushroom side (as a mushroom lover), but it was downright unpleasant. There was zero smokiness, and the sauce tasted like a watered-down BBQ sauce, giving the button mushrooms a soggy, unappetizing texture. The BBQ sauce was another letdown--it tasted like bottled Sweet Baby Ray's. For a BBQ place, using (or at least mimicking) store-bought sauce is the ultimate red flag that they just don't care. Even at $22 for a two-meat plate, the quality doesn't justify the price. In short, Lazy G BBQ Company doesn't just fall short--it doesn't even try. If their goal was to live up to their name, they succeeded; this food is lazy, uninspired, and, frankly, not worth your time or money.

The next morning he said, "I kept telling myself I need to leave a little bit more for Lee Lee but I kept opening it back up and eating more until it was all gone!" Good thing I had my bites right when we arrived at our hotel because I was so hungry. My husband ordered sliced brisket and we lucked out and got a few of the brisket burnt ends. They weren't all "candified" like a lot of the other bbq places serve; but they were smoky and delicious. I also enjoyed the potato salad. We were excited to order the smoked mushrooms but honestly, they could have used a bit more flavor for me. You could just tap the salt shaker and it would have been fine. I appreciated the creative side dish and love how the bbq scene has doubled down on the side hustle! It was cold out so we sat on the enclosed patio that had heaters and were very comfortable. We order a couple of beers and waited for our food. The service was friendly. This was a nice dining experience.

If you wanted authentic Elgin sausage in those days, there was no shortcut--you pointed your vehicle east and made the pilgrimage. The reward was a link of the town's famous "hot guts," a sausage with a snappy casing that gave way to a coarse, peppery filling infused with the unmistakable flavor of slow-smoked meat. It was the kind of sausage that lingered in your memory long after the last bite. Thirty years later, Southside is still turning out the same quality sausage that built its reputation over more than 140 years. While the sausage remains the headliner, the supporting cast is impressive: brisket, beef ribs, pork ribs, sandwiches, and an array of classic Texas barbecue sides. On this visit, I opted for the daily special, a boneless New York strip smoked to a perfect medium rare. The smoking process transformed the steak into an exceptionally tender cut, one so yielding that even a plastic knife sliced through it with ease. The lone disappointment was that the steak itself carried only a faint hint of smoke and could have benefited from a more assertive seasoning profile. Still, it was a quality piece of beef, and a drizzle of Southside's distinctive barbecue sauce elevated it considerably, adding a sweet-and-savory punch that brought the flavors into focus. The sides rounded out the meal nicely. The beans were rich and satisfying, while the potato salad delivered the familiar comfort expected alongside Texas barbecue. Southside's legacy may have been built on sausage, but after more than a century in business, it's clear the market has mastered far more than just hot guts.

Just the right amount of sweet and smoky flavor with the most tender pork belly I've ever had. The chimichurri beef rib was succulent and beyond tender, but not at all overcooked. Except for the short rib, the meats were not tender and not easy to pull apart or fall apart. Brisket was dry and chewy and the pork belly was cold that the fat was unrendered. Flavor profile of the pork was unique, on the sweeter side but eventually got tired of it as I am not much of a sweet meat person. If the meats were warm and soft, it would have been a good day & prob 4 stars bc the flavor was good, but just short of it being good all together.
