I would like to first say thank you to Chasity for her Amazing professionalism on last night. She was my family's server and she was beyond amazing!!!! My nephew and family was here visiting from Texas and we wanted to have dinner here. My husband and I made it there after my sister, nephew and family did, but when we made it the manager said that we would be seated in 45 minutes and seated away from my family that we were there to done with. This was unacceptable because there was seating literally right next to them on the same bench. The manager stated that they couldn't move any chairs to accommodate us, and my husband told him we could just sit right there, right next to our family on the same bench. The restaurant wasn't crowded and no one else came in behind us; therefore, this request did not appear to be too far fetches to accommodate us. The manager stood there and did not say another word!!! My husband told him that we only wanted to sit with our family and "we understand that he is in charge and he is still in charge." With no other directives nor did the manager say another word, we proceeded to sit next to our family. Chasity asked us about our drink preference and proceeded to take out order, again she was amazing!! The owner is out church member and we have never had this type of experience, but I wanted to put on notice the lack of professionalism by the manager. His name is Michael. This was my first time here. It was my daughter's birthday and she requested steak! I have heard that you can walk in and select your steak but it was super busy. We got there and there was a 45 minute wait and this was on a Tuesday night! We waited about 30 before we were called back to our table. The seats sit very low just fyi. Our waiter was sweet and took our order very promptly. They start you with complimentary rolls with sweet butter. We had a nice meal and they gave a big Yee Haw for my daughter's birthday! They shouted her name out and clapped and announced we were celebrating! It was such a sweet shy moment for her! The lighting is horrible inside so I'm sorry about my pictures. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We had food and drinks. I had a margarita while the two other people at my table had Long Island iced teas. Our server was great, but the manager left a very foul taste in my mouth. DRINKS: my margarita was ok( I got an extra shot), but my friend's long islands were un-drinkable. Their long islands tasted ONLY LIKE SWEET AND SOUR. We brought this up to our server whom promptly brought her manager MIKE (Michael) MIKE was very rude and honestly aggressive, I have been in the service industry for 5+ years and I have never seen customer service as poor as his. I've always enjoyed Texas Roadhouse, but this experience left a bad taste--literally and figuratively. We ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, and what we got was basically sweet & sour with Coke--zero alcohol. When we politely brought it up, the manager, Mike, handled it with the worst attitude I've seen in a long time. He was rude, dismissive, and made no effort to fix the situation. Customer service should be about hospitality, not hostility. We won't be back to this location, and I hope management reconsiders who they have representing their brand. read more

I usually find that Texas Roadhouse is consistently good no matter which location you go to and I have been to them in several states. This was my first visit to this location and if I lived in the area, it would likely be my last. We had been awake since 2:30a.m. and on the road since 10a.m. thanks to the great IT outage of '24 resulting in all flights home being cancelled [this was only our half-way point, not home]. When we were rolling into town, we tried to call in a to-go order, because it was ~9:15 and the restaurant closed at 10 and we didn't want to be "those people". However, this restaurant [maybe all TRH? I haven't checked] did not allow call-in orders; you have to download their app, which is not happening in rural TN on a road trip. The GPS said we would get there at ~9:30 so we decided to have our order ready to go ASAP to save as much time as possible and proceeded to be "those people" that try to get sat too close to closing time. I expected to be walking into a mostly-empty restaurant and receive glares from staff that we dared to enter when they are trying to get their side-work done, but that was not at all the case. The parking lot was completely packed, as was the restaurant. There was only one group ahead of us trying to be seated and eventually they were taken back and it was our turn. There were 2-3 hostesses that put up, and then took down, a napkin sign that said "no longer seating" during this time. I put up three fingers and said, "would it be possible to seat 3?" and she turned away without providing a response and began talking to/laughing with the other hostess. After 1-2 minutes of this, I went around where I could make eye contact with her [since she had her back to me] and said, "I'm sorry, I wasn't clear, are you going to be able to seat us or should we leave?" and she stated at this point that she would "try" to seat us so we waited while they went back to chatting/laughing. We DID get sat, but the service was only so-so and the food was not great. I used to work at a TRH, and the kids chicken meal[s] used to BOTH have the regular chicken tenders, one just had fewer than the other, so when she brought out these itty-bitty half-nugget things, I was shocked. It must have shown on my face because she came back with a basket of fries and apologized for the "sad" appearance of the plate but affirmed that at some point TRH [all or just this one, idk] switched to the little kids meal being these pathetic nuggets. My spouse and I ordered a chicken salad to share. The chicken was burned and cold [how?] and the rolls they brought did not have the token cinnamon butter. During this entire escapade the only sign of any authority figure I saw were the two police officers guarding the waiting area; I never saw a manager. When I worked at TRH, a manager or owner used to go to every table to check and see how things were going [and in many other restaurants as well], but not here. Given how busy things still were at 9:30 at night, they may want to consider staying open later on Sundays because it seems like they are missing out on revenue. They also may want to train their hostessing staff as to whether they are allowed to "stop seating" since they put up homemade signage while we were waiting and also that the job of a hostess is to welcome patrons so ignoring them or turning your back to the door is poor practice. read more

My friends and I went to this location on Friday November 18, 2022. It was very crowded at this Texas Roadhouse location. Luckily I signed up for the wait list online, and we were able to get a seats quickly. With the restaurant being busy that night I could tell that my waitress was a little bit stressed, but she was very nice and patience with us. Texas Roadhouse is mostly known for it bread and I can definitely see why. The bread was really soft and the cinnamon butter went quite well with the bread. For Dinner I had The "Road Kill" with a side of fries and mash potatoes. The "Road Kill" is chopped steak with jack cheese, sautèed onions, and sautèed mushrooms. The toppings on the steak somehow blended well together and made the steak really enjoyable. The fries was really good, but need a little bit more seasoning. The mash potatoes was ok as well, something just feel missing from the mash potatoes. The strawberry lemonade was good to wash everything down tho!!!! read more

I was in town on business and stayed at a nearby hotel. Decided to visit Texas roadhouse tonight and it was a great choice! I was a little surprised that at 5:45 PM they were already completely full, however, joining the wait list through the app was a great help and got us in quickly. Our waitress, Chanel was the best I've had in a very long time. Although they were very busy our steak and grilled chicken salad both arrived very quickly and the food and service was top notch. We ordered butter rolls quite a few times and never got them. We had our food sent out really late. Other tables that were there after us, got their food before us. Yesterday my daughter wanted to do a birthday dinner with her friend, I was placed on a waiting list for 45 minutes, I waited for 1hour and 45 minutes. After waiting the manager by the name Micheal split her and her friends up in 3 different places although it was available tables around. For this guy to be a manager it shows a lot about the company. Everyone was complaining about this guy he was very rude, walked around the entire time with this mad expression on his face this guy didn't care about satisfaction for guess and he doesn't have this company best interest at heart. I got the most delicious, melt in your mouth bread, ordered my food, and then waited. And waited. And waited. And waited some more. And literally ONE HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES after ordering a medium rare steak, the food arrived. (I know the exact time I ordered because my husband called me to place his order also). Nothing extra was going on. There were plenty of servers, and someone from the kitchen even came to chat with someone they knew at my table! (And yes... Once the manager acknowledged my problem with steak, it's been excellent every since. The night manager is amazing. I hate I can't remember her name but she Ricks. Our server Paige is excellent. She provides the best service. We love her and most of the staff. I make sure I tip the cook because it's hard to get a medium well steak. The cook or the grill guy definitely cooks with love. I don't know how many people are involved in getting a chili out cook/expediter/server but everyone overlooked it. I asked for my check and explained I'd like to go. Chastity was our waitress and she was wonderfully attentive! Refilled our drinks, checked on us often and got our order correctly. She was courteous and kind as well! This restaurant was really busy with a steady flow of customers coming and going. The atmosphere was very lively and energetic. The hostess and waitress were pleasant, friendly and polite. We were seated quickly and received a courtesy bucket of peanuts a trademark of the restaurant to snack on. The menu had a favorite of dishes: steaks, burgers, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, salads, sides and appetizers. I ordered the Pulled Pork Plate with steamed veggies and my husband ordered the Sirloin Hearty Cut Steak with a loaded baked potato. We shared the appetizer: Boneless Buffalo Wings choice of mild or hot sauce with Rattlesnake Bites (Fried Jalapenos) and Tater Skins. Served with your choice of two dipping sauces. The pulled pork was tender and favorable with a sweet spicy accent. The vegetables were undercooked and bland. My husband's steak was cooked to his liking and he enjoyed the loaded baked potato. Absolute disgrace. We arrived just after 8pm on Saturday, June 8th. Party of 5: 2 adults, 3 children. The lady manager took my name and quoted me 45-50 minutes. At just around an hour of waiting I went in and asked the hostess how much longer. She told me probably 30 minutes. I informed her our quoted time and how long it had been and she stammered something about being busy. 5 minutes later she asked me what my name was, then asked me to wait at their on deck space. At that time another gentleman came in and asked how long the wait was. She told him probably 30+ minutes. He then smiled and asked how quickly she could get him in. Like me, he was a party of 5. He was sat 17 minutes later ahead of me and my family. A minute later they decided to seat us because a server came up and said to sit us in her section. They printed out their seating ticket as a party of 4, not 5, and stuck us at a 4 top booth. That's honestly not a big deal. However, waiting almost an hour and a half on a 45-50 minute quote while being skipped by another party of 5 is a big deal. I asked to speak with the manager. The same server who told them to seat us in her section then went and talked to the hostess. I'm only assuming the hostess told her I asked to speak to a manager. The server never showed up. On the seating ticker her name was Jessica. Maybe Jessica K. After 12 minutes of never being greeted we left. Needless to say this had to be the worst Texas Roadhouse experience of my life. From the top down completely poor service, incompetent, and poorly trained. It's sad when we ended up with better service at McDonald's than a Roadhouse. read more
