When we first arrived everything was going okay, until our server came. She took our drinks and when my friend asked "could we get some rolls?" she rudely said "I will when I have time." Like? I understand it's busy, but she did not have to say all that. She could've just said "yes ma'am" or something more nicer. That would've been appreciated, but no. She didn't come back with the rolls till 20 minutes later. I saw other servers treating their customers better and I was jealous! She skipped over me when taking my friends and boyfriends order. She said "Is that it?" after taking only taking THEIR orders. My friend pointed at me and said, "what about her?" Then she took my order. She came back around 3 times to make sure my order was right. In my head I was like "Well did she not write it down?" I understand she wanted to get my order right, so that didn't really bother me, but I still wonder why was she confused on my order if I thought she wrote it down and she still repeated it after taking my order and still came back 3 times to make sure she was right. Anyways, my boyfriend needed a refill when his food had came, and she came back whenever he finished his food. That's so late! He had to keep taking drinks out of my drink. And also with my friend! She also needed a refill but the server had came too late and we were ready to leave. It took more than 30 minutes to get the refill and another 20 to bring back the change. She was always on top of other tables but never on top of ours. Her service was really slow to be honest. Lastly, at the end she questions my boyfriend "do you want your change back?" like of course!! I don't know if it's mandatory to say that when the customer is trying to pay, but I think that's a rude thing to say! When we were seated and our orders were taken at 5:30 and we waited for over an hour for the food to start coming out and some of my guests didn't receive their food until after I asked for the manager. Our #1 steakhouse! Since COVID, the Wolfchase Texas Roadhouse near I40 and Stage, has redesigned the waiting area to takeout and staging area. So during heightened hours the crowd blocks the entrance/exit passageway. There's no place for anyone to sit while waiting. Just awful-don't go. We were looking for something close and thought this would be a reliable choice, but now with symptoms of food poisoning I regret it. The server was nice, but after we ordered she had bizarre behavior-while we were eating she was trying to bus tables and actually left her garbage on my bread plate. I have stopped at this location several times over the past few years for travel, but after this time it will be my last. I expect a wait on the weekend, but the service and cleanliness was definitely subpar. When we were seated after over an hour the table was filthy and food in the booth and the hostess grabbed a napkin and swept everything off the table, she didn't even do a wipe down. The manager came by and cleaned it properly and did apologize. We waited an abnormal amount of time until a server came at which time she tossed the small plates and knocked over a bottle and didn't even pick it up. Several more minutes passed and finally our order was taken. At some point silverware dropped on the floor and sat there for 30 minutes with multiple staff walking by it and even one acknowledged stating would be back and yet it sat there until I picked it up off the floor when we left. I've been going here for a long time, but today, I notice many young workers who had nasty attitudes just working at the front and as a server. We had such a horrible experience for dinner and our server AP was just terrible. Typically we would always leave a tip no matter our service but she did not even get one because simply giving us our check she just slammed it on the table. Please read completely (bedbug related) Food and service is always really good! A really loud place , but enjoyable. It's always very busy, even if you use the app or website to check in or join wait list ahead of time , it will take about an hr to get seated and probably about another 30 minutes to get served. Last time I went to this location I got bit by bedbugs, I noticed after getting home. So if you do visit make sure you check your seats if you don't want to get bit or bring any uninvited guests back to your house. Went to Texas Roadhouse for Veteran's day. It was packed because Veterans ate free. It was so good. We were treated like royalty. We waited 45 minutes but we were told there was a wait, but understandable with the crowd. Service was impeccable, food was amazing and the atmosphere was very patriotic. I guess we really hit this place on a bad night. Our waiter was terrible, the manager was rude. We made reservations early in the week, yet we were all seated at different tables. Larger groups than ours were seated together. Our service was slow(waiter) It took over an hour and a half to get our entrée's and then, they had forgotten part of it. The salad was warm, and the steaks were bland. I will never waste my time and money on this place again. Next time I will just go to Applebee's, at least there you expect bad food and terrible service. I've been coming to this location for a few years and finally decided to write a review. The atmosphere is family friendly and very loud in my opinion. Prices are cheaper than most dine in restaurants in the area. Now if you want stellar service don't come here, you will be greeted by teenagers that are absorbed with themselves and having side conversations amongst themselves. Once you're acknowledged then you're good to go! Calling in an order is a royal pain and the time given for you to pick up food is most always wrong, so plan on waiting another 15-20 mins for your order. The ribeye steak and shrimp combo is my go-to. The bread alone is enough to keep me coming back. Despite the mediocre service I will continue coming because it is a pretty good meal for a decent price. read more

Too bad I can't give zero stars... I ordered three entree's with a 45 minute lead time before pick-up. I arrived 5 minutes early and went straight to the carry out counter behind two gentleman that were standing in front of me. The young woman working the carry out counter didn't even acknowledge any of us for a solid ten minutes. I will concede that it was busy but they were seating people very quickly. After the first gentleman spoke up, she addressed the three of us and asked us if we were there to pick up to-go orders. The first gentleman got his order right away, the second gentleman got his about two minutes after that. The young woman asked me again what name my order was under, walked away for about two minutes, then came back to me saying that they don't have the order. I asked her to check again, which she did and it was apparent she found the order but it had somehow gotten overlooked. I observed the young lady go to the plating line and speak to the manager about it. I instantly saw a look of "oh crap" before the manager went to work on getting my order ready. I attempted to ask the young woman about my order status but she immediately became defensive, stating that she "didn't know yet". She clearly knew what had happened but didn't want to own up to the mistake and communicate to me about what was actually going on. By this time my order was close to 25 minutes late. After about five minutes, the manager approached me with the bags stating what was in them. She actually left out one of my entrees. So, still, my order wasn't correct. The manager then went to the carry out counter. After about 2-3 minutes, I finally went to say just forget the order, refund my money and I'm out the door. The manager stated she had my entree and everything was good to go at that point. I admittedly was upset and voiced my frustration to the manager about how the employees need to be better at owning mistakes, communicating with customers and making an effort to make things right...none of which happened. Honestly I really don't like this place anymore, my fiancé and I use to come here all the time. But it's just not good anymore. The chicken was so hard and crunchy it just wasn't fresh or good. The only thing that was good was only one of the alcoholic drinks and that was the Kenny blue. The chicken tenders were small and crunchy and they were way to crunchy in the salad. The only food item worth while was the cheese fries ONCE IN A BLUE MOON it was always a gamble either they were over seasoned, seasoned just right, or they would spill the ranch on the fries when we request it on the side plate. We frequent your establishments once or twice a week, for the past 6/7yrs. We know all the staff. All the staff know us. I hate to inform you of the lack luster experience we had. Paige brought our food to the table. She was very rude. As mentioned, we frequent your establishment often. Paige has always been less than stellar. She brought the food to the table. We had an issue w/ a steak(minor issue) Paige stated several times, "well I'm not your server" "I don't know what to tell you." I thanked Paige, and let her know I would talk w/ T, our server. Paige's attitude towards us was awful! Awful!!!! I have never been treated that way at an establishment. I know that you all try to pride yourself on making sure the guest are happy, this experience did not exhibit the core values of your company. We placed an order to go with an hour for it to be ready. We get there and the foods not ready. We sit and wait for 45 min past when it was suppose to be ready before we can get our food. They had 2 people working to go line and there was a line of people clustered by the door waiting for food. Instead of calling out the name on the to go order once the order was ready they sat it on a shelf and let it sit there until you finally made your way up to the counter to give your name. I asked the staff at the dine in and to go check in if they were allowed to call the names on the order instead of letting it sit there and get cold. The dine in staff stated "that's not my area I don't know what they do". Of course by the time we get our food and make it the 5 min drive to our house the food was cold and we had to warm it up.
