We are Texas Roadhouse regulars and have eaten at many different locations in several states. This is the worst food I've ever received from one. Our steak, which was supposed to be cooked medium, was cooked well done to the point where it was chewy. The rolls were so bizarrely dense that you had to bite hard to get a piece off of one. And even the cinnamon butter was made poorly. I was shocked because we almost always have reliably good food no matter what Texas Roadhouse we go to. Really sad. Waitress was awesome though - unfortunately it didn't make up for the food. read more

I am surprised to see only 2.7 stars on this place. It is only our second visit and like last time, it was packed. Literally, every table but one was taken when we arrived at 6pm. With the music and voices it is pretty loud, but yet we were still able to have a conversation at a table of 4 people. The hostess sat us quickly, our waitress Dallas, did a pretty good job all night. The kitchen seems to pump food out good food quickly. We ordered the potato skins, that were pretty tasty and plentiful for an appetizer. Next she had the filet steak salad, and she enjoyed it. I had the ribs 1/2 rack with corn and steak fries. Very tasty. Last we had a birthday and they hollered out over the crowd to celevrate my brother in laws birthday. Good times . Lastly the bathrooms were clean. Private parking lot very large. ABSOLUTELY NOT! My family and I waited an hour and 30 minutes just to get food. It took twenty minutes to receive drinks. I wanted to just speak to a manager but it took twenty minutes. Not only that, they tried to convince me that they couldn't give me a receipt with my payment on it. I asked for one and they needed a manager, and it took another 5 minutes just for my receipt. DISRESPECTUFL, RUDE & DISGUSTING. When checking in we were asked if we wanted to sit on the patio. I stated "no" but then was told I would have to. We get put out it's extremely hot and muggy, tables were dirty and then ants crawling on them. They literally turn on a small stand up fan for the whole area. Then when they crack the roll up doors it makes it worse plus people stand next to it smoking. The ants are crawling all over the crumbs and food leftover that doesn't get cleaned off . The flies are horrible. Plus the hazard of extension cords going across the floor. The salt shaker was absolutely disgusting and a severe health hazard as it rust on the Inside that had gotten on the actual salt. The food was not any better. Steak was way over cooked to the point it was like leather, sides were cold , macaroni on the kids plate was curdled Yes I did speak with the manager about EVERYTHING (she had on a tie dyed shirt ). We went yesterday to use the awesome food voucher that Texas Roadhouse passed out for Veterans on Veteran's day. I tried something new. I had the country fried sirloin. It was actually pretty good. The food as expected for a quick turnover for various food selections. I had a hand selected cut bone in ribeye and requested medium rare. Unfortunately, the steak still was rare and had to be cooked a second time. The area we sat was very cold and wish we sat by a window. There are plenty of staff but should work as a team to pickup dirty plates for each other to provide more eating space for diners. read more

The manager was informed and the I could still see the same bread served by wait staff. 3. Two appetizers were ordered and only the blooming onion came out; however cold. I asked another team member to replace the blooming onion despite couldn't locate my waitress after 10 minutes. 4. All food was over seasoned except the sweet potato and bake potato. 5. After the problems 1-4, the waitress made an effort to promptly come check on the table in a timely manner; yet ignore the gentleman at the table. I usually have a great time at this restaurant and no complaints but this evening was not pleasant. I still left a 18% tip despite the issues. Not worth carrying out or taking to go. Your order will 100% be wrong. You'll get charged extra for certain sides, like mac and cheese, and when you go pick it up, they'll give you just a cup of cooked noodles with nothing on it. What a waste of time- I am so mad I can't see straight! We checked in on the app, we were seated as soon as we received the text (5:15). TWENTY FIVE minutes later we had to ask for a manager because no one ever came to our table. We watched 3 other tables be seated and served!!! Manager (Maddison) came to our table and said nothing more than "sorry about that, we will try to do better next time". Next time? She didn't ask us to stay, offer a solution or anything. Soo..... we got up to leave, she stood there and let us walk out. You guys just lost a few hundred dollars from us that you will never see. Retrain your management and staff ASAP. Food was great! I think that the time waiting was probably due to the place being packed. We enjoyed our ribs so very good and tender. Sides were very good. Baked potato was very good also each of the baked potato toppings were in the bag so I was able to heat it up after returning home. After waiting over AN HOUR for our food- which was country fried steak, we decided to just ask for it to go. The country fried steak that took over hour to get was greasy and definitely looked NOTHING like the pictures portray it to. We will NEVER waste our time or our money at this place and again. i'm not the type of person to leave reviews, but i simply have to for this visit. i'd like to start off by saying i'm a bartender so i'm well aware of how this industry works/how overwhelming it can be. my 2 friends and i went to this location last night for dinner. when we got there there was a small wait, but nothing crazy. we get seated and it seems to be taking a while for us to be greeted. we see our server just standing, talking with another server. she saw us sit, made eye contact, and finished her conversation before greeting us. cool, no biggie im sure ive done the same. we order drinks, fried pickles, and plain butter for the rolls. when she brought the rolls we were given the cinnamon butter. she sat the rolls down quickly and left the table before i could ask her for it again. i'm not upset she forgot it, i totally get it, im upset it took her almost 15 minutes to come back to the table before i could ask her for it. she only had one other table in her section, but she kept acting like she was in the weeds. the pickles came out super soggy and room temp. we needed refills but she was busy sitting across the bar eating. i didn't say anything assuming she hadn't had a chance to eat all day. when she did come over, i felt bad so i didn't say anything about the pickles, and just asked for a refill. she brought my refill out almost 10 minutes later with our salads. it had already been 30ish minutes since we ordered. about 3 minutes after our salads were down our food arrived. my friend ordered beef tips, and the gravy had been sitting for so long it looked like gelatin. my baked potato was cold and my steak wasn't hot either. my steak was cooked to a perfect medium, but it was sooo salty i couldn't eat more than half. i had my friends try the steak, and they both agreed it was way over seasoned. the waitress didn't come back for over 10 minutes and didn't even stop at the table. she walked by saying "everything good?" with a thumbs up but didn't even give a chance for us to reply/stop her. we paid $100 for this meal, still leaving a 20% tip. i understand it's the end of the night and everyone is tired and over it, but no server should ever neglect a table to that extent. please save your energy and money and just go to a different location. read more

Meanwhile the first waitress that took our drink and food order left us sitting there for 35 minutes without checking on us to see if we needed any refills. During the 35 minute wait their so called boss came over to us with an attitude and accused us for cussing at our first waitress, and we never said anything to her speaking that we didn't see for the past 35 minutes. Tried to call about 5 times... nobody ever answered... Confirmed in parking lot and it took another hour... hostess stand had 5 - 7 people there pretty the whole time and they kept saying they were waiting for tables to be clean... I think TR needs to clean up the hostess stand with people that know what they are doing and also use some of those people to clean tables and not be all standing around the computer... Update: Disappointed. The latest visit left much to be desired. The positive, Carli was a nice personable hostess. We had a nice conversation as she walked us to our table. The appetizer and salad cans out quickly. The negative: there was a long wait to be seated, it took over 30 minutes to receive our entrees. Part of our meal didn't arrive, the top shelf margarita tasted like juice, the check was incorrect, etc. Previous Michaela was a great server all around. She had a cute conversation with my niece and was very attentive when taking our order and bringing refills. I could see her being a manager. The food was good, excellent portions. I've been going to this restaurant for several years now and enjoy it every time we go. We always have great service and tonight was no exception. Angel took great care of us. We were impressed that she had only been a server a couple months. The menu has something for everyone, so if you are not a red meat fan, there is chicken, pork chops and even shrimp. They have every cut of steak, and mine (whether I order the ribeye, the filet, or the sirloin) is always cooked just right. They have a great selection of sides, healthy and of course not so healthy. This is probably my favorite place in town to grab the Chop steak (RoadKill). I order the 10 oz. chop steak smothered with sautéed onions & mushrooms cooked medium-well. It comes with pepper jack cheese, eh. But I order it with just onions and mushrooms & brown gravy on the side. They do an amazing job. It is perfectly seasoned and has a nice char. Add some mashed potatoes with gravy and fresh veggies and it's time to eat. I usually get water but today I got the peach tea, it was good but it was very, very sweet. Peachy but sweet. The waitress was friendly. She brought out fresh rolls when the entree to arrived. I packed my left overs to-go and she even brought some fresh rolls for me to take with me. I didn't have room for dessert but maybe next time. Oh yeah, my phone died while I was hovering on my food to take the pics. I have been to this location numerous times, mostly at the request of my son who loves their steak and sweet potatoes. Since I am always on the hunt for a good deal, I feel that the Early Dine menu (Monday through Friday until 6 pm) is a great option for $9.49. (see my pic of the Early Dine menu) The 6 ounce sirloin with two sides and lots of rolls with butter - was enough to share with my son. Other visits have been much more expensive but the Early Dine menu really is the way to go if you are looking to save a few bucks. Going after 6 pm on any day (but especially weekends) can result in you waiting with a pager - so I highly recommend getting on the Call Ahead Seating list so you can seated ASAP. read more

There are a handful of chains that I don't hate, and this location of Texas Roadhouse is one. Seems that all restaurants can be hit or miss with food and service, and that's especially true for chains, but I can honestly say the good outweighs the bad here, in my experience. It's a standard chain steakhouse, with a variety of cuts, as well as chicken, rib, and seafood dishes. I think it's a good value for the money. I usually get the ribeye cooked medium. Once or twice it came out over or under cooked, but it was corrected. I added grilled shrimp tonight. They were ok - too seasoned for my liking, but they were surprisingly cooked well. I think there was a $5 up-charge for the shrimp, which is comparatively priced with other places. Even so, I'll save seafood for the restaurants on the causeway (or cook it myself). My daughter loves the green beans. Tonight, she asked the waitress for the recipe. She loves that they have bacon and onion. I'm a purist when it comes to green beans, I guess - no bacon or onions in my green beans, please! Baked potato comes with salted skin, which is the only way to go, IMO. The Caesar is usually fresh, but be sure to ask for the dressing on the side. Otherwise, they will drown it and the lettuce gets too soaked. Overall, it's not bad for a chain. There's something for everyone, so it's good for groups. read more

Little disappointed and here are some of the things that I Noticed that I appreciate when I go to other TRH in other places. Like straws, serving plates, utensils, napkin sand bread served when you are seated. I've never ever been to one TRH and had to wait for a basket of bread. We've been sitting her for over 10 min and still waiting for it. Then my drink I ordered when we first got seated arrived and we had to request THE BREAD! Then requested again with another waiter...Finally she came with a basket. Then they were out of steak so we had to size down. When it finally came...steak was too dry, shrimp was disappointing as well. Surf and Turf was not appealing even taste buds were not happy...Margarita mango which I know comes with fresh cut mangoes but it wasn't included. Salmon was just beyond saltiness! Never had to squirt so much lemons to get rid of that heavy salt. It is what it is- I make it to a point when I travel, I must visit TRH if they had one in the area! So far this is not the best but I can see that the waiters were trying to accommodate, hence the reason for three stars read more
