The server was doing the best she could with the hand she was dealt. The restaurant was out of three items that our party of 6 attempted to order: two were appetizers and one was a steak. The restaurant was hot and when we asked if the temperature could be adjusted, we were told that this has been an issue for three weeks and the manager is aware. However, she would notify management again since we are not the only customers to bring up this concern. We asked for salt and pepper since it was not on the table due to Covid restrictions, and we were given salt packs (which was fine). This place is extremely racist. Went here with my grandma and mom to enjoy a night out and was here for over 3 hours. Server was Brittiny and honestly she's horrible. When we got our food it was freezing cold. We got a new plate of food but it was the exact same plate. I know because I put a lot of salt on it purposely so if I got it back it would be salty. Not only that but apparently they were out of everything. No rattlesnake bites, potato skins, Italian dressing, and all flavoring for drinks. I know she was lying because I saw someone with potato skins AND a flavored lemonade. Bread was doughy. Table was dirty, flies flying all over our food. Not only that, but I noticed all the black people were seated more towards the back of the restaurant. Brittiny rolled her eyes at us on multiple occasions. 5 of us (family members) went there today, 11/22/20, and all had great meals! The waitress was exceptional and made sure we had everything we wanted. 4 people got steaks (each different) and all bragged about how good they were! I wanted grilled salmon, but they didn't have a sweet bourbon sauce that I like, only a lemon sauce which I wouldn't like, so I got catfish which was ok, but no tartar sauce. The sides that came with my fish was great and I'll eat the fish, but wish I would have picked shrimp instead. I came here on Father's Day to treat my dad. We went online and put ourselves on a wait. When we arrived, we were told that our table was taken and it would take 10 mins for a new one. We then waited 30 more minutes outside and we finally got in. Our waitress, Kylie, informed us when we sat down that food was taking about an hour. We order our appetizers and then the food took 2 hours to get to us. When our food did finally come out, our steak was cold and the kraft Mac and cheese we received was cold. Our waitress Kylie only checked up on us 3 times the entire 3 hours we were here. She was polite and sweet when she was talking to us but we just barely saw her. On top of the wait and service, we were near the back corner where a sever kiosk is. Our entire lunch/dinner, we had servers standing next to our booths the entire crowding around us. They should train their bartenders in customer service. It was pretty bad. I sat down at the bar. They were a little busy, there was a small wait. I had to move the dirty plates out of the way a good bit after I sat down & they never once wiped down the bar for me or when someone left. I ordered an appetizer and it took over 15 min to get it. I had to ask for silverware 3x. My drinks were empty for a while. My steak was slightly overcooked, ordered Medium and it was Medium-Well. The food was good though, that's why they got the 2nd star. Also, I got tired of listening to the staff complain about not making any $. They would probably make more $ if they provided better customer service. I travel a lot with work and eat at TX Roadhouse all around the country. This one as not up to par. We decided that since we were driving from Moss Point to Mobile, that we would use the call ahead seating. When we did we didn't have to.wait to long for a spot. We went here for one of my birthday meals. They offered me a coupon for either a free appetizer or a sidekick of ribs. We opted for the appetizer, had fried pickles. They were wonderful. They also brought the bread along with the cinnamon butter to our table when they dat us so not only de we enjoy the appetizer but the rolls as well. My husband the 10 oz Ribeye and I had the 8 oz sirloin for our meal. We both wanted baked potatoes but were told it was going to be at least a 10-15 minute wait for them and would we prefer their mashed potatoes, since their was a wait we decided sure. The mashed potatoes were awesome but about 5 minutes later they brought out the baked potatoes. No problem. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and our whole meal was great. We got our house salads before our meals came but had no silverware we had asked for them three times and they finally gave us them our food came out. First of all, I would like to say that all restaurants are operating under a complete reversal of how their business should be run. But that should not effect the way employees do their jobs. We have been to this location many times and have been, for the most part, satisfied. However, on this visit things went downhill from the beginning. Was told it would be a 20-30 minute wait, but actually was more like an hour. Once seated, the server took our drink orders. My wife got her tea in a timely manner, but my beer was another story. Had to ask twice before it arrived. My wife's salad arrived, but with no salt and pepper on the table we had to ask for it. It did no get to the table until she had finished her salad and again requested it. I had ordered the 12 ounce prime rib and my wife ordered the rib eye steak. I had requested the prime rib be medium rare. When it came to the table, I have never seen a worst piece of meat served in a restaurant. It was an end cut and, IMO, an end cut could hardly be medium rare. One look and this gross looking hunk of meat was sent back. It was so bad it ruined my appetite and was unable to order anything to replace it. As I have stated the restaurant itself is operating under dire circumstances, but that should not exclude employees from doing their job in a satisfactory manner. If the cook had any pride in his work he would not have let this leave the kitchen hoping no one could tell the difference in medium rare and well done. The server could have seen it was not what was ordered and not allowed that to be served to a customer. She could have been a little more diligent in following through when the customer asked for things. The manager was very nice in acknowledging our concerns and seemed to handle things in a professional manner and concurred with our dissatisfaction. We will probably be back, but it will be a while. In the meantime, I would hope that the cooks and servers be made aware that they are the face of the business and resolve to do a better job during this time of madness. Large party to celebrate my husbands 30th milestone birthday. There was confusion with the seating and the manager, Terica, had such a nasty attitude while trying to clear up the situation! After our server, Rachel, did an impeccable job recovering with great and timely service and such a positive attitude, I went to the managers to make peace and offer my suggestions to make a future issue more seamless.
