They were both VERY well done . I showed my waitress and she lightly said "sorry" . didn't see her for a long time , had to ask another waiter to please send a manager over, That was also a waste of time . Kind of mixed up group of people standing around the front desk. Seemed to be gossiping. They got our 2 people waiting mixed up with a 5 people waiting group. The group seemed to have a negative air about them. Not very impressive. They should find another place to gather, in my opinion. I completely agree with a previous review by Lori B. the front of house staff was young and completely inappropriate acting. This is a restaurant not 7th grade lunch hour. The wait staff was good, but the food was not very good. I realize it is Texas Road house but most of the time the food is decent, tonight not so much. To begin with our waitress was horrible to say the very least it should not take 15 minutes to get drinks alone then another 45 for food "they were busy yes but for how much staff they had on hand which was at least" it's still no excuse that they couldn't do other things so she could focus on waiting tables. Typical Texas Roadhouse with the seating being fast and the staff being courtesy. The drinks from the bar were well made and presentation was nice. My meal was prepared well with the steak slightly overdone but I understand it's hard when they're working short handed so no complaints. The presentation was about the normal for a chain restaurant. Big shout out to Texas Roadhouse! They're so organized during this Coronavirus mess. We arrived at 7:45 about 15 minutes before they closed. They were so accommodating with our order. They didn't make us feel bad about showing up at almost closing time. They had our order ready and our steaks cooked perfect in about 25 minutes. I was so impressed. We come to Texas Roadhouse all the time and every year for our Anniversary. Tonight on our anniversary we booked through yelp an hour ahead of time on the wait list. We got a baby sitter and headed out with my 8month pregnant wife. Arrived and we were told they no longer do the yelp wait list. Why's it still active on yelp? "Not our problem we can add you to the current waitlist and you can wait for an hour to an hour and a half? Almost pompous? Makes you wonder why people order food to go now a days. This place always has a full parking lot, so I wanted to check it out. Wow! Looking for a tasty meal for $10.00 try the entrees served until 5:30. I chose the 6 once sirloin and my two sides were sweet potato and salad. Steak was cooked perfectly, and was so tasty. I was so surprised how good the steak was for the price, has outback beat hands down. The salad was not just a bunch of lettuce and a tomato... it was delicious especially the croutons, and I never eat croutons Sweet potato was perfect. I will certainly go back. Be aware this place gets busy... ample parking even if you have to park in the 2nd lot next door. They do have a bar with sports events on the tv's and lots of peanuts. The staff was excellent. We visit this location for a Sunday lunch. Our wait was 20 minutes, which was not bad. Our waitress' name was Renee. She was very unprofessional and rude. We recieved our bill and my oldest child said mama if you have cash give her that or she will have to share the tip with everyone else that are waiters. I said I dont have cash and my middle child who is 12 said mama can I tip her and I said yes son and I will give you the money back. He took 6 dollars of his money and tiped her. We then proceeded to get up from the table to leave and she came by I said thank you and she said yes thank you and she jerked the money from the plates that was on our table. She began to talk trash to the other customers and employees stating 10% on a 60 dollar bill. She said these people are ridiculous. She continued to talk junk while she followed us toward the exit. Me trying to hold it all in because of my children and the elder persons in the restaurant continued to walk out. I called the manager and explained everything to him and I told him we would not return and we would not recommend anyone to this location because of Renee's unprofessionalism. We should have left her no tip to be honest. If you decide to visit this location ask that you dont be seated in Renee's section!!! Put ourselves on the wait list via their internet, at that time there was a 35 minute wait, got to the restaurant in 5 minutes was told there was a another 35-40 minute wait ,after waiting almost an hour I checked with the check in girl and she lost our name on the wait list, after complaining to the manager we were finally seated about 15 minutes later. When the waitress finally showed up we were told they were out of what I wanted to eat, prime rib also out of a beer that I wanted Blue Moon and would you believe Diet Coke as well. The front check in girls were pathetic, talking and not paying attention to what they were supposed to be doing and as a result of their inadequate job performance it made our night at Texas Roadhouse of Murrells Inlet miserable.
