They were my first W2 server job showing me the ropes of reliable customer service and camaraderie that endures in any position I've held long into my corporate career, and Brooke (my server at this location) along with managers Seth & Madison fulfilled every expectation. I ordered takeout from here at about 1 PM on a Saturday afternoon. I got a message saying it would be ready at 1:35. I arrived a few minutes early and waiting in my car and went to the window and was told they would text me when I was ready. I never received the text and waited another 15 minutes before going up to the window to get my food. The ribs were excellent and well cooked as well as the sweet potato. The salad was just OK nothing special about it. I did ask for no tomatoes which they did do. And of course, the rolls with the cinnamon butter were excellent as always. I would've given them five stars if it had not been such a long wait and they had actually texted me. I'll return because Texas roadhouse never disappoints read more

In today's critical view of what is, or what isn't a steakhouse, It's always good to know that there are such the difference of what a steakhouse is compared to your BBQ house. TRH is a true steakhouse, no question. I took my wife and daughter to TRH for Valentine's, since my son is off to college, I like to treat my wife and daughter to a nice meal. I'm always critical of what the facilities look like before anything else, and the men's restroom had quite a bit of water splashed on the sink, and some debris on the floor, I didn't look that close. I had the herb crusted chicken, my wife had the NY steak, and my daughter had an appetizer. I totally get the fact that Valentine's night was going to be packed, you can't knock points for the joint literally packed and people bumping into you in the front entrance. That wasn't the issue. The young lady taking our order was rudely rushing us, and it was like we were bothering the her, and I get it, she probably had lot on her plate that night. She took our order and the food came out rather quickly, and after looking at our plates, it looked as if they were sitting under a heat lamp. I've seen better presentation at a Luby's cafeteria than how our meal was plated. It really was disappointing for the amount we paid for, and yes we were charged over $80 for this type of service. The chicken I ordered looked as if the grillman bit into it the corner, and plated it anyway as if they were doing me a favor, by gracing me with such delectable food. The grilled lemon was also thrown in to help cover the empty spaces on the plate. Chicken was not moist as one would like their chicken breast to be, veggies were veggies. The steak was mediocre at best, but i only had a couple thin slices. I will give credit to the passion that went into the diamond grill marks on the steak. All in all, my wife does like this spot for the steak, not for the service, and for the all you can eat rolls. I do not recall the last time I dined at a Texas Roadhouse. So when I saw one while running errands, I decided to dine here. Walking up to the entrance, I saw several folks waiting outside. So I was not surprised to see the waiting area was crowded. Rather than get on the waiting list for a table, I checked the bar area and saw several seats were available. Without being prompted, as soon as I sat down, the bartender handed me a menu and asked if I knew what I wanted to drink. I got a small Shiner Bock, but erred not asking if they had Sam Adams. I later discovered the Boston Lager was available in a bottle. Soon after serving the beer, she went to the kitchen to get their rolls. Unfortunately, I forgot how addictive the rolls were especially with the melted butter. I quickly devoured the three and thankfully was not asked if I wanted more. To my horror, the diner next to me asked if I wanted any of his. Fortunately, I had the willpower to decline. Rather than try to memorize it, she grabbed a napkin and wrote down my order: 8oz filet, baked sweet potato and buttered corn. The filet was cooked correctly. Because I ate all three rolls, I had enough room to finish the steak and the sweet potato. The corn was good but not sufficiently addictive to eat more than a few bites. For the price, I enjoyed the food & service. If I had the discipline to limit myself to one roll, I would have room for dessert. read more

Texas Roadhouse is great. We've actually done takeout more than eaten in the restaurant, but both experiences are great. When dining in, you've got a great atmosphere combined with great service and delicious food, its a pretty simple winning combo. When doing take out, its honestly an amazing experience. Their app is seriously one of the best I've ever used. It's kinda crazy how good it is - you can customize absolutely everything on your meal and then they follow it up with text messages letting you know when your order is ready. Once you arrive, you text 'Here" and they'll let you know when the food is at the window so you can stay comfortable in your car while you wait. Awesome. The staff do a very good job of packaging up your food too, so it travels very well and stays warm when you're ready. I've always been iffy about to go steaks, but Texas Roadhouse truly does a good job of making your steak the temperature you want it. Check them out! read more

A very disappointing experience on a fairly slow night this evening. Average service with no beverage refills. Badly burned chicken fried steak . Like lots of folks, I don't care to send food back. That said, my plate should have never left the kitchen. It spoke quite loudly to whoever prepared it simply not caring about the "finished" product. I reviewed this place once before and store it off. But my family wanted to give it another chance and, well, I have regrets. First we called ahead and were quoted a wait time of 1:10. We got there within an hour and ended up waiting a full 2 hours. I understand it's not always that predictable, but dang, they really missed the mark. The waitress was friendly and attentive, so no concerns there. I tipped her well. The food, on the other hand, was as poor as ever. The Cactus Blossom was fine. Salads too. Th entrees were hit or miss. My son got steak and shrimp. The shrimp was pretty good, but the steak was under seasoned. One daughter got salmon. That was better than expected for north Texas. My wife and other daughter got steak. My wife's was ordered medium rare and came out medium. Not the worst, but both also lacked enough seasoning. Not trusting this restaurant, I ordered a burger, saying to my family that I didn't think they could mess that up. When it came, I went to add sauce to it, and saw a horribly overcooked patty. So yeah, I was wrong. They could mess it up. I ordered it medium well, which according to their specs means a tiny bit of pink, per the waitress. When the waitress asked how things were, I showed her my patty and she grimaced and immediately offered to take it back. I took a bite to be sure and then did send it back. They did replace it and put it in a to go box as requested. I was a bit surprised they didn't offer to comp it, especially when you consider we dropped $120 on the check. But I certainly wasn't asking for it. I don't imagine I will ever go back to Texas Roadhouse. This was the third straight failure by them. I should have known better. read more

The only thing that was good was the 8 oz. filet. The broccoli wasn't hot. The salad was marginally acceptable. All in all a huge disappointment. We had just left the Texas Motor Speedway on a Friday night. You know it's going to be busy. They were observing COVID-19 rules quite well. A 30 minute wait got us a table with a great waitress. Picky Mike wanted a steak and got one that was...fairly acceptable. If you knew Mike, that's a good thing! I had a hankering for chicken tenders, cause I love gravy! Well, turns out these are pretty good tenders! And I only had to ask for extra gravy twice. She was actually amazed I ate all that gravy, but I had fries so it was easy. The last two times we've gone we had Luci and i absolutely adore her. She is the sweetest server we've ever had. I seriously don't think I've ever had that good of service before. A year ago I would normally given this location 4 stars on a normal day. Unfortunately this location's standards are slipping. Tonight I ordered the medallions which is 3 different cuts of meat. I ordered medium rare but got rare, medium and well done... after asking for the rare one to be redone it seems that they took my cut meat and just placed it into a pan with some oil... this gave it a very nasty flavor. Didn't eat it and wasn't going to wait to bring it up. They should've made it right but in return I'll just stop going to this location. Sad I only give 2 miles away. read more
