We shared a family dinner at Texas Roadhouse in O'Fallon, MO recently, and everyone enjoyed their food immensely. The salad dressing, regardless of which one you choose, will not disappoint. At our table five people chose steak (strip and sirloin), and one decided to try the pork chops. All of us remarked how good the meat tasted and that we would not hesitate to order the same again. The loaded baked potato and loaded sweet potato are hard to choose between...both are delicious! And the (eat as many as you care to) hot rolls melt in your mouth topped with their honey butter...WOW! The menu offers a wide variety of side dishes that all sound excellent. Our server(s) could not have been better or more appropriately attentive, and one of the managers stopped by to check on our experience and to ask whether there was anything she could do to make our dining experience better. We assured her that we were receiving great service and that our food was superb...that doesn't happen everywhere! While the place was packed, and the noise level was a bit high as might be expected, we were able to converse and enjoy one another's company. We were seated in a booth which allowed enough elbow room, but with a bad back, it would have been more comfortable at a table. The additional parking at this new location is welcomed, much better than their previous place. We've been to this "new" location before, and we will certainly be back! In this day and age where it feels like it's impossible to feed a family of four at a decent restaurant under a hundred bucks, I'm always thankful to have Texas Roadhouse as an option. My family and I went last Friday night to the O'Fallon location and everything was delicious. Steaks were seasoned well and mine was cooked to a perfect medium rare. I enjoy getting their sirloin because it's a nice compromise where you aren't missing out on a tasty steak but spending way less than a filet. We didn't have any beers or alcoholic drinks and we didn't get any appetizers, but as the meals came with two sides we all left full (plus we did enjoy the rolls of course!). With a 20% tip we left for under $75. It's always busy so I highly recommend using the check in option on their website to skip a lot of the line. Reliable, affordable, tasty and service is always great. Highly recommend! read more

Came in the other night for a fab meal. Have always loved Texas Roadhouse. They have the absolute best rolls and butter and cheapest steaks that are lean and I NEVER leave hungry. Everything comes with 2 meals and they crank out the butter and bread like its no ones business. We came in around 6 the other night and got immediately seated. Service was incredible, shout out to the kid with the longer curly hair and hat, super sweet guy that I wish I would've gotten his name because he needs a raise. Sent us home with extra bread and butter and the service he provided was INCREDIBLE. Best service I have had in years. For the food, I had an 8 oz sirloin with loaded sweet potato and fresh veggies and my boyfriend had an 11 oz sirloin with plain sweet potato and mashed potatoes with the white gravy. Everything was cooked to perfection and we even got a free appetizer from joining the online club, so we got the rattlesnake bites which are basically jalapeno poppers and are insanely good and come with like 12 or so, so more than enough for 1 people. I came here to shout out Naira, our waitress. she was kind, responsive to our needs and if she thought we needed something, she brought it out (ie water, container for leftovers, etc.). Was there for dinner Thursday June. Morgan was wonderful despite having to deal with a table of disgusting old women who were insufferable and had no idea how a restaurant works. She maintained her entire section despite this and was extremely pleasant. They deliberately placed us as far away from the bar as possible and we had a table full of high school girls with their out of wedlock screaming one year olds. What a waste of money!!! My husband left his $26.99 Filet on his plate after only two bites!! When his Filet first came out it looked like it had been run over by a truck but he tried it anyway. Epic Fail Texas Roadhouse- First let me start off by saying that we are regulars here. We probably eat here at least 4 times a month. We have always had a good experience until probably the last 2 months. We understand Covid and restrictions, we eat out 5 times a week so we are used to the way things are now. We checked in on line, the site said 25-30 min wait ( check in time was 6:05). After waiting in our car for 40 minutes we walked inside to inquire how much longer. The hostess said you should always add 20 min to what the website says for wait. HUH? We eat here All the time, and have never heard that before. So my wife finally got the text that our table was read ( 6:55) . We proceed up to the desk and are told to stand on a number by the jukebox. 10 minutes later we are finally sat. The waitress was attentive at first , brought our drinks and took our orders, although we were short two things of silverware ( hard to butter bread with nothing to butter it with). We flagged down another waitress and she brought us some silverware. After waiting almost 50 minutes for our food and seeing our waitress one time, our food finally arrived. The waitress that brought it had an attitude and was not friendly at all. My wife ordered beef tips, and my son and I ordered 11 oz sirloins. I cut into my steak and the steak was COLD, not luke warm, not warm but COLD. My sons also was COLD. My wife's beef tips had a funny taste to them as well. We waited another 5 minutes and flagged down our waitress. My wife explained that her meal had a funny taste, and the waitress said what do you mean a funny taste? We also explained our 17.00 steaks were cold. She said she would have the cooks throw them back on the grill to heat them up. HUH? With everything going on, and your just going to heat up our steaks. I have a microwave at home too. After 10 minutes the manager brought them back ( my wife thinks they were the same steaks) she set them down, said I'm sorry and walked away. So far we have invested almost 2 hours of our Saturday night. My wife didn't even eat hers. She just asked for a to go box for hers. The waitress brought our check and said sorry, and said she took 10 pct off of our bill. Wow thanks for the effort. 10 pct on a 70 dollar bill is enough to pay for the overpriced soda's. We will still come here, but come on Texas Roadhouse. We have come to expect a lot more from you. Do not get food to go! #1 the manager is a nut case blaming me for being upset that i didn't receive ANYTHING I ordered after I drove to the location. She explained that she hires 16 and 17 year old kids and that I should expect certain things lol I told her this was the second time its happened and that I was really pissed and even more upset I had to tip before I completed my order online. Today 8/14/24 at 7pm I placed a to go order in the drive thru. My shrimp was made incorrect, the manager Thomas told me he would fix it and bring it out to me ( Thomas was very nice). Riley came out instead and told me to "Get back into my car!" As I was trying to explain that Thomas had told me he would bring my food out, which is why I was waiting. Riley proceeded to say "We don't bring food out, it's a safety hazard." Which is understandable. I was trying to explain that I was told my food would be brought out. Riley then says "I don't have to yell at her, she will give me a refund & her 16 year old daughter is inside" and then proceeds to lock the window on me with out giving me a receipt. The ONLY reason why Riley insisted that I was yelling was strictly because I'm a black woman, I don't even understand what her 16 year old being there has to do with my food, she forced me to get a refund and didn't even provide a receipt for the refund and then locked the window as if I posed a threat. My fiancé and I are frequent flyers at this location and we're just served lunch by Regina. She is by far the best server we've had at this location. She was genuine, attentive and even took the extra step to pack up fresh rolls for us to take home in a to go box. My family came in with a large party for my grandmas birthday last night around 8 pm. We come into this location all the time as it is a family favorite however last night we had a bad experience. After we were sat, my mother realized she was getting dripped on from the ceiling above our table. We told several people that there was an unknown leak from the ceiling and we wanted to talk to the manager. One of the service managers came by but we did get to talk to the head manager of the evening like we wanted. We decided we were going to let that ruin our experience, so we powered through. When our server greeted us he was extremely nice as we were settling in, but once we ordered our drinks everything went down hill. We waited 20-30 minutes to receive our drinks. We then heard from another server nearby, that our server walked out during the shift. Finally we were greeted by Erika, who was awesome. She came to our rescue after waiting and waiting with no service. Everything Erika did during our time there was amazing. After finally getting to order, we waited and waited for our food. Which is understandable because we were a larger party. As time was going by, it came around 10 pm and still no food. We finally received our food at 10:20 pm, which again we understand was not our servers fault. Already irritable, we directed the same service manager to our table. She insisted that we were going to be compensated from our poor experiences through the evening. Which was not demanded by us, but offered by her. Once we finished, Erika brought over a bread pudding to my grandma as a birthday dessert. Finally we were ready to pay pushing 10:45 and received our full bills. We were confused because we were not looking for a hand out or free food, but were promised something as a token for our patience and understanding. Some of the members of the party paid for the original bills which was not a big deal, but we did want to speak to the manager to let them know of the situation of the evening (as we demanded all night). By 11 pm, the last member of the party was finally greeted by the manager and given some kind of voucher or gift card. Overall, we are really disappointed with the way management handled our experience. I too am in the service industry so I understand times get busy and you can't get to a table immediately. However, after waiting almost three hours to speak to someone about multiple instances is a little ridiculous. I don't mean to sound like a Karen, but things could have been handled a little more professionally on managements side.
