My favorite chain restaurant by far. I'm not sure what it is, but their honey mustard is the best anywhere. Put it on a house salad or with chicken fingers and it's just great. Of course, the rolls are always amazing. I've had steaks a few times as well and they're always cooked great. It's hard to beat for the price. The only downside is the increasingly long to-go wait times for ordering online. My fiancé and I are frequent flyers at this location and we're just served lunch by Regina. She is by far the best server we've had at this location. She was genuine, attentive and even took the extra step to pack up fresh rolls for us to take home in a to go box. Well let's get the basics out of the way first. This is a very solid chain restaurant. You will get a good solid meal at a fair price and the service will be pleasant. I enjoyed my visit here. It was at the end of a long day of travel and the food arrived relatively quickly and it was hot and tasty ( the burger was a little overdone, but still a good sandwich). I wanted to talk about two other aspects of this restaurant ( and the other casual dining clones like it) 1. Who decorates these places? I mean come on,did they raid the set of Hoarders? This place had that same random stuff attached to the walls motif that Bennigan's forced on us all. I don't mind interesting eye-catching signage but actual objects that could fall into my perfectly piled french fries...no thanks. 2. Why oh why do these places make the servers gather up and do a "line dance" or sing some sick version of happy birthday. Everyone, and yes I am sure of this, everyone hates it! I know I did when I had to trudge out from behind the bar so many years ago and pretend to be excited about signing "Moxie Birthday" [seriously the place was named Moxies, so we sang Moxie birthday to you, Moxie birthday to you..with "energy"] ....to some drunken idiot who could care less; just give me my free ice cream. Anyway Roadhouse did this sickly version of a Coyote Ugly thing. It was ugly, I'll give them that. They were bored, we were bored. Two of us went for dinner on a Friday night. Checked in online before we got there, so the wait was only 2 minutes. I had a ribeye, which was cooked perfectly, and steak fries. The steak was very good, as were the fries. Wife had a KC strip, also cooked perfectly, which was even better than the ribeye. The service was as good as the food. This restaurant is always packed, but obviously it's because it's so great! If you are planning on going on a weekend, I would recommend calling ahead and getting a spot in line. This way you don't have to wait near as long when you get there. I'm sure you've heard, but if you haven't, their rolls and honey butter are to die for. They are always fresh and warm, and you could totally eat them for your meal. But, they have good food too. A great appetizer for a lot of people is their blooming onions and potato skins. Came here again the other day and it was delicious. The food always comes very quick considering how crowded it always is. We joined the waitlist online and we were able to check in just fine and able to go straight to a table. Food is always great and service is as well. The rolls are deadly. I can never stop eating them I get so full when I go here. I am a big fan. The service is always quick and friendly. I always get the filet. All the steaks are great.I usually get a margarita with a kicker. They have many varities and special drinks. Love the atmosphere. Very country style. I keep going back. I got the filet again. It was delish. Along with a salad and sweet potato my wife got the same thing. She did have a bad tasting sweet potato. She informed the waitress and in 2 minutes had her a new fresh one I always get there early, as a long line will form about 5pm. I like that they have veteran parking too. Went to dinner and ordered an 8oz Strip Steak. Ordered it medium Rare It was the worst steak I have ever had. First of all it was not medium Rare. There was hardly any pink in it. It was way over done and so stringy I could hardly chew it. I realize if I want a great steak I need to go somewhere besides Texas Roadhouse but thought I would be able to get a half way decent steak there. Which I was wrong. Great experience! The food was amazing, as all Texas Roadhouses are. This review is really for our waitress, Hannah. She was so sweet, polite, fast and friendly! We barely had a chance to finish a drink when she was coming around with a refill! She glanced at the table-we had one roll left-dinner almost out. Worst customer service ever at a Texas Roadhouse. Came here for my girlfriends birthday but we ended up not getting to eat together because they couldn't get my steak cooked right. I ordered an 8 oz filet medium. When my steak came it was so small I knew it had been over cooked. When the waitress came to check on it I showed her where I had cut in and didn't have say a thing. She said oh that's well done I'll get you another one. Meanwhile my girlfriend is eating her chicken. 8 minutes later a guy with a managing partner name tag brings me a new steak. I cut into it and he says "oh that's medium rare". (Looked rare in center). Several minutes later he brings it back out and it's cooked medium. My girlfriend is done by now and she gets to watch me scarf mine down. 3 tries to get it right and you know what they did for me? Nothing. Zero. No discount. No comp on a dessert. Your silverware was disgusting. Is your dishwasher broken? Is your clean up crew on strike or something? We asked several times for new cutlery and each time we got a new set of dirty forks and knives nicely wrapped up. Can your people wrapping the silverware not see that they're nasty? After our meal, I let the manager know. She was pleasant but, in a very kind way, blew me off. In no way did I feel like she really cared or will fix the problem in the future. Your food is excellent and service is fantastic. Why drop the ball with dirty utensils? C'mon, you really need to do better. Love the lettuce used in the Caesar and critter salads - so crispy and yummy! TR also has the best loaded baked potatoes and a plus is it's only .99 to upgrade your potato to loaded. I was craving a Steak!!! First place we thought of and since we are new to the area, we thought we'd give it a try. We got there at 5pm on a Friday...crazy packed. My husband and I eat dinner here often and usually are always happy with our food and service. However, tonight we arrived at 8:00p.m. we ordered our usual, my husband's ribs were burnt. After about 10 minutes I had to ask another server to send our server over, told her the ribs were bad. They replaced about 1/2 of the ribs, my husband had ate 4 of the 12 because he was hungry. We had won a gift card and decided to try it out last night. We were welcomed by approximately four people when we walked in and when we were seated right away we were asked how our last visit was. I had advised that this was our first time here and we were excited to try it. throughout the night 2 managers came over to ensure that our meal was good and that we were satisfied. we absolutely loved it and will be going back soon. My husband had the ribs with loaded fries and I had a fillet with green beans. Our server was awesome. The ribs were moist and not dry at all, the steak was cooked to perfection. Found this restaurant to be packed and we ended up at table stuck in the corner. This is definitely a roadhouse type of restaurant. I did enjoy the rolls. I had the salmon fillet, my daughter had a burger and my hubby had a steak. We all found our dishes to be a bit too salty. Had a limited amount of time for a dinner out with sister and brother in law. Wanted steak and I found Texas Roadhouse on Yelp. They had an online wait list and never having used it before I didn't expect much. But when we arrived we went up and gave the info we were told to and got seated in five minutes. And the manager also told us to pick the steaks we wanted from the display case so the waitress already knew when she came to take our order. Got our food quickly and perfectly made. WARNING!! DO NOT LEAVE ANY VALUABLES IF YOU WANT THEM BACK!! My friends, wife and I ate at this location April 2015. I had left my new custom Oakley sunglasses ($210 value). One honest employee had found them and turned them in. I called to confirm they were there by describing the glasses to them to a T. The hostess confirmed they had them and would hold them at the front. Well, we are from out of town and we're heading back home at the time I called. So I called one of my friends and asked him to swing by and pick them up for me. He said he would, but it was not the same day. Texas Roadhouse knowing that my friend was not going to come the same day might think it would be a good idea to lock up the glasses in their safe. Nope. My friend shows up the next day and they said we have no record the glasses were there. No one, not even the server admits the glasses were there.
