He went out of his way with little details pretty napkins, real roses a beautiful display, even a tray for you to freshen up after your meal. Bracus was a phenomenal server. He set up the table with nice napkins and beautiful flowers. He was very approachable and personable. He was very kind and a has happy personality. I had to put my name on the list for a table and the wait was less than 10 minutes, to my pleasant surprise, since the host had told me it would be 15 - 20 minutes. Ambiance: TR is a less sophisticated, less expensive version of Longhorn Steakhouse. The rustic wooden interior made me feel like I was in Texas or Arizona, which I liked. Food: As I only wanted a small dinner, I ordered their grilled shrimp appetizer. Unfortunately, it was overcooked. I let the server know and a minute later the manager came to ask me for my first-hand impressions. He said that he would make another one himself and, boy, that second shrimp skewer he brought was definitely grilled to perfection. Their complimentary bread, although warm (always bonus points for warm bread), was too greasy for my taste but patrons seem to like it/consume it a lot. Texas Roadhouse is a chain, but always hits the spot when I'm feeling steak and too lazy to make it. The prime rib here is an absolute showstopper - tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. One con...the steak did come out a little cold, but not sure if that's because I ordered it medium-rare. But what truly elevates the dining experience are the heavenly buns paired with the cinnamon butter. These buns are nothing short of a divine treat and our waitress kept us loaded when we basically downed them in minutes, and gave us a baggie to take home! The Cactus Blossom was great, my husband loved it, I could only take a few bites because it was so heavy for me. The portions are generous and you really can't beat it for the price. The service is impeccable - our waitress was attentive, quick, and delivered everything with a friendly smile. It's a very casual and lovely atmosphere, if you're looking for a quieter dining experience I'd probably look to come during a slow time. It can get crowded and wait times can be pretty long if you don't time it right, you can join the waitlist ahead in the app or online. There could even be a wait on the weekdays, I honestly haven't been to a Texas Roadhouse that isn't bustling. read more

I wish I could give 5 stars because the food was so good. However, the service and pace of the meal was terrible. When seating us, they said they had no rolls at that time. Ok but the table next to us got rolls and were seated after us. It took so long for the waiter to appear that we ordered all at once. After about 10 minutes my salad appeared but no one had gotten a drink yet. When they dropped off the drinks, they said they would get us more bread. Long story short, the bread came with the check. We were almost done our meal when the waiter checked on us. My grandson went 15 minutes without a refill despite the fact that his drink was totally empty. This was our first time at this location and it was very nice. Our server was so sweet, thorough, quick, & on top of things. My daughter & I both had a ribeye and they were so delicious you didn't even need steak sauce. The corn was so well seasoned, I loved it. The applesauce was cold (I thought it was going to be warm) but, it was good. My granddaughter loved her food. She had the kid's steak & fries. The rolls were delicious, as always. We went for a mid week treat - to our pleasant surprise we were blessed with the most wonderful server, Bracus! He was so amazing. I love me a good Texas Roadhouse experience. & I'm a little disappointed that I can't give this place 5 stars. My husband and I decided to grab a last minute dinner here on a Saturday night. We decided to head over and realized the long, hefty wait of people outside so we didn't have any expectations walking in. I was greeted by the hostess almost immediately and told that the wait would be over an hour long. We thanked her and decided to check the bar area instead as we didn't mind sitting and eating there. The bar was open! A lot of the seats up there were. We were seated and greeted immediately. The bartender was super nice and tended to us almost immediately. I think it caught her a little offguard that we planned to sit and eat there, maybe because most people don't. Who knows? Regardless, we ordered two soft drinks (dry January, boo) and placed an order for 2 steaks. My husband added ribs to his. We decided against ordering an appetizer, which was not our norm, but were ready to eat our meals. The steaks came and my husband chowed down. He loved the ribs and they didn't stand a chance, so kudos there! My steak was good, but it was cold. I'm not sure why, but it was definitely not warm/freshly cooked OR had been sitting out. Left me a little disappointed. I didn't think to speak up and I'm just not that person, so i decided to take it home instead. Where it sat in my fridge until it was time to throw away. We love Texas road house on 1150 Blackwood Ave it's always a popular place for the family. But once a month I try and take my grandma out for a nice dinner just the two of us. Tonight was a true treat though, Bracus made it feel truly special. I can't really put it into words just how far above and beyond he goes for his customers. From making the plates, setting everything up, making sure we were taken care of and even offering us hand wipes and fresheners at the end of dinner. Waiter was great and moved us from the close quarters they put us in. We waited up front for a table for 5 minutes with plenty of open tables available and two receptionist were busy chatting. They put us in the back where they had put a small table in between the anchored tables the waiter could not fit. Then proceeded to stuff more customers in that area. The bone-in-ribeye Steak was very salty but I have learned not to send anything back to the kitchen when you are not happy with it. $5 margaritas were good but that is the only highlight for this place. We had come on a Saturday night and with the reservation we got right in, if I didn't make that reservation online then it would have been a 45 minute wait. I got a Cesar salad with a 6oz filet cooked at medium rare and a sweet potato! The steak and everything came out perfectly! This is a review of Texas Roadhouse on Blackwood in Ocoee,FL. We arrived at 6:45 pm on Tuesday. We were seated in about 10 minutes. Everyone was very friendly. We ordered Prime Rib and learned they only had medium or more cooked. There was no medium rare! There was no explanation offered. We asked for the manager and he advised that the medium rare prime rib is usually gone before 6 pm. He was very friendly and even personally checked back in the kitchen to validate that there was no medium rare offerings. He said that this was normal to be out after 6 pm, sometimes even earlier. He was friendly but not apologetic. I was shocked. Then our alternate meals arrived, but only 2 of the 3. Mine was delayed about 5 minutes with no explanation. The server, although very nice and friendly, did noy offer any compensatory offset nor did the manager. Not a very efficient or customer friendly operation. read more

I love the great quality of food and the relaxed environment. I got the 6 one sirloin with 2 sides for $11.99 at an early bird special. My sweet tea was good. The warm yeast rolls with cinnamon butter are always a delight. I got a medium rare sirloin, house salad, and sautéed mushrooms. The steak was cooked perfectly. My sister & her husband ordered drinks and waited far too long for them, about 15 minutes. The waiter James said it takes awhile for the bar. They ordered filets and enjoyed them okay. I ordered a ribeye combo and very light on the seasoning, My ribeye & my shrimp skewer were extremely salty (not edible) and both were barely warm. I did try to scrape the salty seasoning off of the steak. The shrimp was overcooked, someone else ate it. I asked for butter on the side of the baked potato. The potato was rolled in salt (too much salt) and the butter was slathered in excess inside the potato. We scraped the potatoes and tried to get much of the butter off of potato, in the end, I just couldn't eat it. Because my ribeye was cold I didn't eat it, my sister said to take it to go and she might eat it. I left there a little hungry, I only had a salad and our food took more 40 minutes to arrive at the table from when we ordered. We were disappointed with the service and especially disappointed with the rib-eye combo. I didn't complain or see a manager because my sister & her husband are mortified if you speak-up and complain. Although it was a little busy, there were many empty tables. read more
