Good meal here. Could use a little spiffing up on the cleaning, but the staff was attentive and the food was cooked correctly.

I did something on this trip I said I would not be doing and that was to wait one hour for a table. I just don't like to waste my time however since I was with family I had no other choice. After a one hour wait, we were seated in a booth among a very packed bunch of diners. There were peanuts on the table so that helped calm me some. I ordered a steak and it was delicious. Cooked just the way I order it and the flavored was fantastic. The wait service could have been better and I don't know if it was the crowd or he was just slow. Everyone said their entree was excellent. With the slow service and eating we were in the restaurant for two hours thus dinner tonight was three hours long. We could not park in the parking lot and had to go across the street to find a parking space. Even so we will be going back, but perhaps on a slower less crowded night. read more

One of our favorite chains so stopped since we were on a racing trip to town. Yikes, it was Sat night Prom Night and zillions of folks waiting. Surprised us that the wait was only 40 mins......but was worth it. The rolls and salads are always great. Ribeye and shrimp always good. The service was good even with the place being packed. We'll be back on our next trip. read more

I was craving steak and decided to get carry out here. Country type atmosphere and good service. Lots of chicks work here since it's that kind of place. A little on thr spend side for what I got, but the bread was nice. I thought my bbq chicken was going to be bone-in, it was not. Steak was actually done medium-rare, which suprised me. Overall, just average. And no, this chain was not started in Texas, as they try to come across as. Evansville, IN is where they hail from. Ah, marketing people! I don't know if I would go to "Texas Roadhouse" again in the future. It was average, but not anything great. read more

This is supposed to be a steak house. Steer clear of the meat. The kitchen must not know how to grill them. Finally got our order after the steaks had to be refired twice. When they arrived at the table they were 80% fat and not edible as was the side order that wasn't cooked. At that point our waiter became invisible because we had been at the table for 45 minutes waiting and the manager must be used to it because the bad service was almost laughable to him. Spent too much for subpar food and mediocre service. If you like nuts you'll have a great meal skip the rest its not worth the money. read more

Visiting friends in Symsonia and decided to have dinner. Fantastic. Food was awesome, atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, but our server made the night. Kearee, or "K" was amazing!. He was friendly, funny, and very good at keeping up with whatever we needed. So much so that when we come back this way, I will ask for him by name. read more

I took my fiancee there for her birthday last night. I asked the waiter to have the staff sing for her like they do right as we were seated. We were there for over an hour, and they never did. The waiter told me "Everyone is busy with their side jobs and won't come sing." End result is my lady ended up crying over it. On top of that, they brought us the wrong drinks, the waiter vanished for the last 30 minutes of our meal, our rolls basket wasn't kept full and the waiter never asked us if we wanted desert or coffee. I have been a regular customer at Texas Roadhouse for several years and always get consistent service. They have great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and are always my first choice. The food is cooked correctly, has average portions, and I never leave with that sick feeling poorly prepared food can leave you with. The dining room gets warm in the heat of summer but otherwise the atmosphere is great. We often request our favorite server and they are very acomodating. I recommend you give them a try but call ahead on a busy weekend because it's no secret they are awesome! read more

I never had a bad steak there. Every server we've had has been very friendly and efficient. This is my number 1 choice for steak.

Every time we have gone in we love that the bartender "K" is there. He takes great care of us and in very personable. One of the main reasons we love going there is that he is there. One of my family's favorite places to eat at in town. Always packed so wait times can be horrible but the food usually doesn't disappoint. Obviously the steaks are the star of the show. The Dallas filets are the best thing on the menu. Always perfectly cooked. I don't recommend ordering carry out as they almost always forget to make my loaded mashed potatoes loaded and just give me regular, but if you eat in house it's great. Bartender is very helpful and drinks come out quickly. read more

I have tried other knock off places nearby but Texas Roadhouse is the best in the mall area compared the completely expensive and extremely low quality place i ate at a few days ago down the street ( see my other review). I ordered the prime rib medium rare. It was the worst prime rib I ever had. It was more fat and grizzle than prime rib. It had a awful taste too. I ordered the cactus blossom too. The onion part was undercooked. I guess they undercook everything. I had taken some family members and I was totally embarrassed. I had talked up how good the prime rib was. The one in Paducah was horrible. I contacted their home office and the manager called me and stated they would send gift cards to replace it but I never got anything. I guess their word is down their with the prime rib. Will never return to Texas Roadhouse. read more

I heard this is a nice place to I went with my friends last night, 8 of us. The waitress was super mean to us for some reason and I think because we came at 10p, an hour before they close. It took them forever to bring our food to the table. It was cold and not fresh at all. worst stake Ive every had. If you want to try bad meat, Then this is the place. They put a lot of salt on the food so we cant taste the bad meat. DONT TRY IT AT ALL. I PREFER TO EAT FROM THE STREET RATHER THAN EATING HERE. We are Texas Roadhouse junkies who visit our local TR at home regularly, and this was SO disappointing tonight. When I saw there was one close to the hotel, I couldn't wait for a good meal at our stop over. We mentioned as we left that we would have been better off at IHOP, and that's saying a lot since it's our least favorite restaurant. I should have read the reviews here better and trusted them! The peanuts tasted stale, the rolls were overcooked (not the delicious fluffy TR rolls I expect), the fried pickles came out warm (they had definitely been sitting for a while before we got them), the chicken on my salad tasted like it had been warmed in the microwave, there was hardly any lettuce in the salad, the kids burgers were awful (they wouldn't eat them and they are not picky eaters.... The bread was baked to a crusty finish and the burgers were charred to a crisp. Nasty!), my daughters steak was well done when medium was requested, AND two employees were sitting in the lobby looking at something on a cell phone, laughing and giggling (no "have a nice night" -- nothing! So unprofessional). In addition, the restaurant just felt dirty. The bathrooms looked as if they hadn't been attended to all day and tables were left uncleaned throughout the restaurant. Needless to say, I had to write a review because I want others to know what they are getting at this particular Texas Roadhouse! This is by far the best chain steakhouse in Paducah. Their steaks are flavorful and much bigger than they advertise. I ordered a 10oz ribeye that looked more like a 14oz or more. The sides are fresh and they have the best bread of any steakhouse chain. One more thing. To my suprise, they also have the BEST ribs in town. If you haven't tried them, you HAVE to go to T.R. just to get the ribs once. I promise you that it won't be your only time going to the steakhouse to order their ribs!! Their staff is friendly and the service is prompt. Great atmosphere and how can you not have a good time throwing peanut shells on the ground? A place to revisit for sure. read more
