Later on after taking the order acted very helpful, not sure of sudden change in attitude, but all of us felt she realized her mistake. The food was good not many complaints about the food it is always consistent I think they messed up a few things but it could have been our servers fault. Seems our server was trying too hard but did not have it together at all. I asked about the price of beers he didn't know and asked just looked at me. I got one refill after I sat there with an empty glass half the meal and after he saw and came to the table 3 times he reremebered. The salad dressing was not correct had to change that twice and he offered us $15 our meal if we purchased $100 in gift cards. We jumped on that offer and come to find out he was wrong after we had already paid..! Made a yelp account just so I could write this review. I was up there for the great Smokey mountain jeep invasion (all the way from South Florida) and our group decided to eat at this location. Let me tell you that when I had the best service I've ever had from our waiter, Joe, I am not kidding. He was on top of everything, checked in whenever possible, was running food and drinks, and was a very pleasant waiter to deal with. Food was great and came out fast. I will mention that the wait time for the table was a little more than i would appreciate even tho we did go at peek hours about 7:30 pm. We came in tonight (3/3/23) for our 6 year anniversary. The waitress Cheyenne was hands down the best waitress we have EVER had! She was so sweet and very attentive to all of our needs! She went above and beyond! We ordered the filet and ordered them medium rare and all I can say is the cooks cooked them to perfection! The BEST filets we have EVER HAD! Great food and great service! I always give Texas Roadhouse a very good rating and that's because I will rarely eat at one that isn't good. The staff is always friendly, the steaks are always cooked to profession and the flavor is a bonus. My most favorite thing to eat there's are the rolls but unfortunately I'm ALWAYS on a diet. Decided to have dinner here because of past positive experiences with this restaurant chain. Happy with our decision. Our wait time was around 25 to 30 minutes which was not bad. Our service and food was excellent. My husband and I both ordered ribeyes. They were so tender and flavorful. After having a fun day at the fair and go-cart track this was the place for the party and meal. We arrived here after 10 pm and they were still a little busy. We were promptly seated and given rolls and butter to tide us over. Our waitress came over and took our drink order plus we have the app and utilized our free appetizer. We ordered the jalapeño poppers and they came out hot and fresh. These tasty morsels were a nice start to the dinner. I ordered the chicken fried steak which is a ribeye steak batter fried and comes with 2 sides. I chose a salad and fries. The salad came out and it is not like you get at a lot of places they put egg and cheese on them. Our meal came out shortly after that. My food was good, but I'm not sure what was super salty but they should hold off on the salt shaker there. After finishing dinner they rolled out the saddle and brought out my birthday desert. I have never been to a Texas Roadhouse but let me say, we were more than pleased. The service was fast, friendly and attentive; our servers name was Cynthia. The atmosphere was upbeat, family oriented and they were even doing balloon art. When our food arrived, it was pefect. I am really picky about eating steak out because it either isn't cooked right, not flavorful enough or it is tough. I was skeptical but ordered the 20 oz bone-in Ribeye anyway. Let me tell you, when that 'bad boy' got to the table, I checked to see if it was cooked order; it was perfectly medium-rare. I preceeded to cut a bite; it was tender. I put the bite in my mouth and my eyes litterally rolled back in my head. Maybe not 'litterally' but my daughter noticed my reaction and asked for a bite; her reaction mirrored mine and both of us agreed it was the best steak we'd ever eaten. Good eating for sure: I chose a few places to go out for a late lunch to my wife in Pigeon Forge, and to my mild disappointment, she chose the Texas Roadhouse. I know she chose this because it's generally a good chain, but I like to take a chance on more local flavor, and this just ain't it. To be fair, some of our attempts to try more local fare have gone badly. Generally the customer service has been lacking. That being said, it's hard to complain about the Texas Roadhouse. The T-Bone steak I had was excellent. My wife was very happy with her Ribs. The rolls were excellent, and the sides well well-cooked and tasty. The only thing I'll say is that I think our server was either new or just kind of stupid. She really didn't know how to handle herself. She was friendly and prompt, so the rest of it was pretty well handled. Plus the guy who brought me my steak asked me specifically to check my steak to see if it was cooked to my satisfaction, and no other place that I've been to this year has done that: that was a nice touch considering I've had to send a steak back recently due to it being well-done when I asked for medium.
