Looking for something new, we decided to try Texas Roadhouse and were glad we did. We left full and quite happy. First the food. I had the steak tips, and my granddaughter had the NY strip steak. Both were cooked exactly the way we'd ordered them. She had fries, and I had mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes were so good, and I loved that gravy! My tips were swimming in mushrooms and sauteed onions. No shortage of either. I opted to skip the sour cream. No complaints at all. My granddaughter said she liked her steak better than the steaks she usually gets at Outback. I also got a side salad that was really good. Maybe it was because it had chopped hard boiled eggs on it, which most restaurant salads don't. I don't know, but I ate the entire thing, which I don't often do. I'd forgotten to order the dressing on the side, but it came on the side, so I really appreciated that. Now for the service. The service was top notch, from the person who seated us to our server to the manager. Our server was Jules. Ask for her! She was very friendly and attentive. She seemed to know what we wanted before we asked for it. The manager (forgot to get her name) was attentive, too. She was constantly walking the restaurant and stopping at tables to make sure everyone was pleased with their meals. She came to our table twice, but it wasn't intrusive at all. I have been to this Texas Roadhouse a couple of times now. The food generally is pretty good. We have had steaks, chicken, pork chops, catfish, chicken critters, and sandwiches. The bread with cinnamon butter is great to start. The atmosphere is casual with a fun country feel. Our server, Selena, was one of the best servers I have had in a while. On 5/22/2026 my family visited the Monroeville Pa restaurant fora birthday celebration. Since there were 8 of us, we called the local number for call ahead seating. We were given a time frame and headed to the restaurant.  Upon arrival my daughter checked in at the desk. She was told they were waiting for the previous patrons at the table to pay then we would be seated. At this point 6:39 pm we received a text saying we would be seated shortly and we gathered our party. At 7:15 pm we checked with the hostess and were told 30 more minutes. After 40 more minutes we inquired and were told, "the manager apologizes but the kitchen got mad. It will be 30 more minutes. We inquired again after 30 more minutes and were told it would be 15 more minutes.  We left the premises at this point very disappointed with our treatment. Having our family celebrations at one of these restaurants has been a staple for decades in our family. Needless to say, with such disrespect and no answers as to why we were forced to dine a different establishment. I have never been treated in such a way ever at a restaurant. read more

One of the worst dining experience we have had in a long time! We have 8 friends who meet once a month. Today we selected this place . We were there at 3:00 with 6 of the 8. We asked to be seated since there was no one else waiting. They refused. Two of our friends have crutches, still refused, still no one else waiting! After being seated,ordered our food. I chose the ribs! They were so tough I couldn't eat them. Told our server, she shrugged and said nothing. We came here for my grandma's 88th birthday and had a great experience! The women who sang her a happy birthday yeehaw were wonderful & they even did a line dance a little later!! The Texas rolls were great, as always. However, my steak was underdone - I ordered medium and it appeared rare and my boyfriend ordered his rare and it looked like it could be cold inside still. Went with a party of 3 on a Sunday evening about 7:30pm. Greeted warmly by the host and hostess. We were sat immediately with the fresh bread and cinnamon butter of course. Our server DJ was prompt and efficient. She was also kind and patient as my daughter ordered her food. She made sure to repeat our order back to us. Every thing came out in a timely fashion and was perfect. We ordered the potato skins for an appetizer and they were so good. We had a bacon cheeseburger, ribs, house salad, chicken breast and veggies. We had zero complaints. I also ordered the $5 LIT which is a Long Island iced tea. As soon as we walked in, the waiter/waitress with shorter hair was extremely rude and had an attitude the whole time. Not even 5 minutes later our friends came over to talk to us and she yelled at my friends about our party size even after we told itseveral times the number. As an avid Texas Roadhouse supporter, I was truly disappointed in not only the food but the service as well. Usually we go to Greensburg where never have we received a bad meal or incompetent service. I had ordered a 1/2 rack ribs that I thought someone was playing a joke. The ribs were not tender at all and the bar b q sauce was not very tasty either. The manager had given me a coupon for a free appetizer to use the next trip in. Well we went back a 2nd time this time I ordered my favorite sirloin tips served over rice with a peppercorn gravy. I showed my supposed coupon for the free appetizer from the rib fiasco and ordered a blooming onion. Well we got our meal with cold hard dinner rolls but guess what? No appetizer again. We spoke to the manager I believe her name was Shelly who actually gave us the free coupon for the bad meal in the first place. After I told her we still did not get the appetizer she chuckled and said, "well you can use it next time". I gave it to a family who just sat down as we were leaving the restaurant. The food both times was totally the opposite of what we were used to getting. Both times the food was poor quality or cold or had a bad taste. The Greensburg location was our go to place but since it was so far out of the way after I retired we went to Monroeville location but I will honestly say that location will never see us there again. Although the atmosphere was clean and fun the food was just not the same. I don't know if they are independently owned or not but if it's all corporate owned that Monroeville location needs help. Both times we went there the food wasn't the quality we were used to. The service was substandard, and the portions were more of a child's menu than a regular menu portion for the price. read more

This place happened to be open so we stopped in here for dinner instead of hitting Ocean Treasures!! And a young person was bartending and told us she was new. I asked for a couple Manhattans she said please direct me and I did and she made a terrific cocktail! A bit too much sweet vermouth but close to being spot on and I dug her willing attitude!! Her attitude and personality won the night for me!! Then we ordered I had the petite filet mignon and he had the ribeye! The meat was tender and seasoned well! And she poured me a glass of their nicest red wine which was garbage! but she brought it for me!! Went to the Clearview Circle, Butler PA restaurant on 3/6/26. It was awful. Ordered a 24oz. bone in ribeye steak medium. When it came out it was rare or just flashed cooked. When I cut into it, the blood just poured out all over the plate. If you like it like that ok, but if you do not, it was awful. The blood mixed into the potato which made it worse. However, the steak looked odd. I ordered a bone in ribeye, and I could not find any bone. The manager did take it back and had the steak grilled more, however when it was brought back, there still was no bone in the steak and upon cutting, there was no marbling in the meat and the grain of meat did not look like a ribeye. When I brought this to the manager's attention, I was told that the cooks sometimes cuts the bone's off, and there was enough marbling. I asked if I got a sirloin instead of a ribeye, and was told they just cut the bone off. Now, if I ordered a bone in ribeye, why would they cut the bone off. As it turned out, I got a sirloin, but they charged me for the 24oz. bone in ribeye. The manager would not change this, she insisted that they just cut the bone off the steak. She actually went back into the kitchen and brought me out a bone. Really. read more

Nice experience here! Good for what it was, my expectations were met but not exceeded. We got the ribs and classic burger. As always, the free bread was amazing! Ribs and burger were tasty but nothing special. Love the steak fries normally, wish the ones we got were a little more fresh. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Was at this location 6months ago and ended up leaving because they couldn't get the steaks correct. Order medium rare the most common steak ordered and it came out well down and was tougher than shoe leather. Me and my wife decided to give it another go because we have a gift card. Steaks were still terrible. My wife's steal was terrible and couldn't even eat it. Took them 20mins just to bring a new one and it was still well done and tough. Hit the spot, or many! I have forgotten how much i liked dining out. I am out of practice for a year and a half now. My server, Melissa, was awesome times two at least. My wine came to me lickety split. She even offered up water without my asking. Yay. She assisted me with sides to complement my ribeye. All the while she was so pleasant and efficient. And my meal? We tried to reserve a table for 9 online on Saturday at 3:30 in Monroeville. The system said that nothing was available for that time. When we arrived, the restaurant was all but empty but were told we could not all be seated together. Not only were we not seated together, they wanted 6 at one table and 3 at a table two aisles away. THE WHOLE SECTION WAS EMPTY BUT THEY REFUSED TO SEAT US CLOSER TOGETHER! Had they been busy, we would have understood. But that's why we went so early, to beat the rush! Rolls, butter, and blooming onion, still stand out as the best part of a Texas Roadhouse meal, for better or worse. The food overall was okay, the marshmallows were burnt close to a crisp on my loaded sweet potato, my chicken and gravy was quite tasty but lukewarm, my steak fries were soggy for some inexplicable reason that I don't want to mentally explore. The location proved less than ideal for a large party, which was the plan for our group and something to consider. Most of the seating is also booth style which accommodates only certain sizes of folks and mobility levels (not always easy to slide in and out). The service was very friendly, if not always fast or on top of our order. Drinks were solid. Far cry from my choice for a quality dining experience or group event, but a decent choice for a meal in Monroeville if you love hot bread and sweet butter and don't mind a bit of a wait. read more

We recvd a voucher for the last time we were there. I showed the waitress my voucher. We ordered our dinners from the Early bird menu. The reason we had the voucher, was because our food was cold , and after sending it back, it was still cold and overcooked. So we decided to try again. My steak was supposed to be med well and came out well, and tough. So we were seated and explained to our waitress why the voucher and to pls make sure the food was hot. It came out cold, both steaks. They were returned for the second time, and same thing happened. So the girl asked for my phone to show her manager, to adjust the bill. The bill came to $23 and change. She came back to tell us since it didn't come to $30, they couldn't accept it. We knew before we went that our meals wouldn't come to $30. We called ahead for a party of 10. They said it would be ready at 5:30 but to arrive at 5:15, so we did. Didn't get seated until 5:45 but not a huge deal....but then once we got to our table it was 2 booths next to each other so we weren't even able to sit with our family. They said they don't put tables together anymore. So we said ok fine...then we asked for a high chair for our 1 year old and they gave me a booster seat. (It was like a high chair but for the booth seat.) I said can I have a regular high chair? So server brought over a regular one. And put it at the end of the table. Then the (very rude) manager comes over and says we can't have the high chair there because it's blocking the aisle. And proceeds to tell us that she specifically told us on the phone that she we couldn't sit all together (and not in a nice tone.) thankfully the food was good, otherwise I might've lost it. My 1 year old was climbing out of the seat because there was no buckle...so that was great. So in summary, decent food, but I don't recommend this location. Our server was nice; but the manager could have at least attempted to not be extremely unprofessional and rude. What's the saying--it costs nothing to be kind? She could learn from that. Also,--the bathrooms were DISGUSTING. Urine everywhere, you could tell it hadn't been cleaned recently. I won't be back. Our first visit to the New Texas Roadhouse in Wilkins Township wasn't as I expected. We love the Texas Roadhouse In Greensburg and was hoping to have the same experience. It was horrible. Texas Roadhouse is my favorite chain restaurant to eat out at! The food is high quality, service is amazing, and the price is reasonable for what you get! I love the experience when we go here! You come in, are seated down with warm rolls and cinnamon butter, you place your appetizer order and bbt the time you finish your roLls the appetizer is out, one your appetizer is done your side salad is out, and once that is done your main dish is served. They have their service down to a science with a good selection of add ons. You always know what you're going to get and they are incredibly consistent!
