Always a go to when craving a steak. Will be back. Service is always top notch. The bread makes my mouth water just thinking about it

Extremely poor service at this location! With an hour wait for the main dining room on a Friday, party of three decided to dine at the bar. The bar wasn't busy with only three other patrons and three bartenders it looked as if service would be ok. Deceptive! The bartender appeared as if she didn't care to be tending to the patrons and was more immersed in her ongoing conversations with her other two colleagues. I'm not sure what she heard but my food order was wrong from the main course to the sides. She was unapologetic about the whole thing. Time for the ticket and she asked if it was one ticket or separate, all three simultaneous responded separate but she came back with one and just walked away. It took the bartender another 10 minutes before she even cared to return so we could inform her to correct the ticket. Mind you again, it was just 3 sets of patrons and 3 bartenders in the bar area. To receive such service throughout the dining experience is annoying. Proper care and attention please if Texas Roadhouse would like for patrons to continue visiting this location!! read more

It's sad when a good franchise, that supports the (police, military, firefighters, EMT'S,. nurses, etc) has a location that is spiraling downward. It's obvious that the service is going downhill at this location. My wife ordered a medium steak, and when it came, is was as hard as a hockey puck. It was also obvious to the naked eye that it was not a 4 oz steak as was ordered. I'm going to have to find another spot when I'm traveling through Pooler, GA. read more

We always make Texas Roadhouse one of our vacation dinner Staples. This was our first time at this location and we were highly dissatisfied. The music was so loud we could not even hear the other people in our party. The food was inconsistent. Not the standard we are used to at all!!! Our server was nice but did not check in for refills until long after glasses were empty. The manager came out over a problem we had with one of the steaks and was inconvenienced by us you could tell. read more

Such a horrible experience. I placed an order online and it was supposed to be ready for pick up at 7:30. So at 7:55 I asked for a refund because I was fired of waiting and obviously my food was still not ready. The manager told me he had no idea how to issue a refund because I paid online. Food is great when it's not super packed, servers are friendly, most times the wait time is long but it all depends on the day

Reviews were not looking good for the new location but we decided to give them a chance since it can take a bit for a new restaurant to get dialed in. Service was great. Every time I eat at Texas Roadhouse, I always order the same thing. Roadkill, house salad, and either a BP or mashed potatoes. But every single time I eat at this particular Texas Roadhouse I get soooo sick. Vomiting and diarrhea EVERY time, and it lasts about 2 days. I'm not sure if it's the steak or the salad that is making me ill. Maybe if they aren't washing their salads properly I'm not sure. First time here as we just moved to Georgia 3 months ago. We've been trying different places, trying to find some places to take visitors when they come. The three stars are strictly for the quality of the food, it would rate no stars for quality of service. We sat at the bar where normally there is interaction between the customers sitting at the bar and the bartender, not the case here. She gave us the impression she couldn't care less about her customers. Sitting down we asked about their draft beers (very mediocre selection), when she brings our beer she slaps them down and turns and bolts off. I had to reach over the bar to get a couple of menus. The warning sign should of been the guy sitting next to my wife, he's complaining to the bartender that they just brought out his salad and now already bringing out is steak. Her response is well it's not my fault. That was her attitude the entire time we were there. I'm one of those who don't usually say anything, I just don't come back (which I won't), but on the way out my wife stopped and talked to the manager. There are simply too many places for us to go eat and spend our money to ever return after having such a lousy experience. read more

Unfortunately this was one of our favored places to eat but the last three times we have tried to eat there were were told 20 mins which turned into 40 mins plus. No worries... they were busy. But we were taken to an unclean table with glasses and drink still on it and chunks of food on the table. The person that seated us took the glasses and told us to have a good night. When the server came over we politely said we were seated at a dirty table.... could we just get it cleaned... no one ever came back... and we walked out and went to Longhorn where we had a terrific server. read more

Got the restaurant around 9:00 on a Thursday. Seated promptly and then greeted a while later by a server in training and his trainer. The trainer was the only saving grace. Left sitting for long periods of time and had to ask for items multiple times. Was brought the wrong steak and had to switch with my partner at the table. The manager came by and said, "I'm glad you all got that figured out, some people here are so incompetent." Then she turns to walk away and I notice her cell phone tucked in her back pocket. read more

The steaks were really good. The salads were good. The experience, however, was awful. The 5-10 minute wait was more like 20 as they were seating larger groups that arrived after us before they seated us. The waiting area is chaotic and crammed. When our host went to seat us, he tried to hold a conversation with one of our group as we tried to make our way through the restaurant to our table. Unfortunately, this slowed us down and meant that other servers and customers kept bumping into us and getting cut off from their own routes. My wine glass had lip marks on it. My boyfriend's meal didn't come out in one trip. In fact, his steak didn't arrive until after everyone else had finished. Our waitress was nice. But the setup and inability of the staff to handle the dinner crowd was not ideal. read more

Location and food were both great. We were seated right away and promptly had bread and our appetizer. Our server, Megan was really the star of this visit. We were there on a Saturday at 16:30. It was not crowded. We got a seat immediately, but we never received the signature bucket of peanuts for our entire time there. They had no green olives for the martini. My wife ordered the chicken cesar salad as an appetizer, I ordered the shrimp. My order came, my wife's did not. I told the waitress, and she said that she would take care of it. Ten minutes later, still no salad. I told the waitress again. After a brief wait with no salad, I told the waitress a third time. It finally arrived. I had to remind my waitress about my request for water. My wife ordered steak well done. It was medium well. It was still slightly pink inside. I ordered the chili as one of my sides with my entre. My meal came without the chili. I had to remind the waitress. I don't know if this was the waitress' failure, or someone else in the chain. Our waitress was pleasant. However, our order was not served correctly. On the positive side, I will give them Kudos for putting calorie count on the menu. Well big disappointment so far. Sweet tea is unsweet. Waitress acts like we are bothering her. It is soooooo loud in here you have to scream to talk to someone. People noise and music is way too loud. No salt on the table. The food was not bad. Do NOT sit all the way in the back. read more

My family and I always patronize the Savannah Mall location and enjoy meals there all the time. I will never ever visit this location again, we went to day around 11:45 with a party if 13. It was not busy and there were a lot of empty tables, the staff was just standing around and did not want to accommodate us ; nevertheless, we left the restaurant and went to another establishment down the street. We were seated promptly and service was great! Very disappointing Texas Road House, teach those young ladies some customer service skills please. We frequently eat at Texas Roadhouse mainly in Savannah Mall and occasionally in Pooler. But this time was not a good experience in Pooler, after ordering the Dallas Filet and not being a lean cut more like a sirloin. I requested another steak because of the cost and premium cut. The manager appeased me but only to return with the same cut but this time covered in salt and seasoning. Not eatable at all, after which time he discounted the bill for my dinner. Well the host staff is incredible. All smiles and bright faces! Once we were were seated our server promptly greeted us with a large smile. I wish the rest of our experience was as pleasant as our arrival. We ordered our drinks and my husband and my GRANDMOTHER ordered a beverage from the bar. The rest of our table received our non alcoholic beverages within about 7 minutes. After about 12 minutes the server returned to ask for my husbands ID and my grandmother's ID. My grandmother didn't have hers. The server explained that she couldn't serve her without her ID. We understood that. My grandfather ordered a drink from the bar at which time the server refused to bring him a drink because she "knew it was for her". I'm sorry but what a talent this server has! I didn't know mind readers moonlighted as servers. The manager came over and just said "yea I'm sorry that's just pooler" she never smiled and her apology seemed halfhearted and annoyed. The lady that ran my husbands beer was delightful and if we ever return it will be because of her genuine care and hospitality. Overall it was a simple issue that could have been solved by a bit of compassion and genuine hospitality. I do not think having a server ID guests 15 minutes after ordering their beverage is efficient or acceptable, especially when it is followed by arguing with seniors. The cinnamon butter was great and we MAY try again once they get it together abbot more. Moral of the story, it's all about how you handle problems. The service was great as well. Even the manager stopped by to ensure everything was going well and if we needed anything. Ugh. We were so excited when we heard there was a Texas Roadhouse opening close to home. We finally went in last night. We were greeted and seated immediately.... but once we got to our table, our server immediately got frustrated by our drink orders. (Jim Beam and water- "wait... mix it with water?" And Captain and Ginger - "what's ginger??") our entrees came out within seconds of our appetizers... so we had to decide which to let get cold while we ate the other... Cowboy sampler was pretty good. My boyfriends steak was undercooked on once side, and over cooked on the other. Didn't even know that was possible. I ordered the steakhouse filet salad.... with blue cheese dressing instead of the Italian dressing and medium rare steak. My salad was doused in Italian dressing and had blue cheese on the side... and the steak was so rare it was purple. Our server was quick to bring us drinks, but never noticed I wasn't touching my food. She was at our table three times with drinks and to drop off the check, and each time seemed annoyed or bothered by our presence. We felt rushed and pushed out the door. I wasn't going to post, but my boyfriend and I have both been up several times with upset stomachs. I can't imagine going back to this Texas Roadhouse any time soon. read more

My first experience may have been my last for this location. The customer service was horrendous, I was a part of a 13 person group at 11:45 am on a Saturday morning and the place was nearly empty. The servers refused to provide us with enough tables to accommodate our group. The section had over 8 open tables and they where unwilling to add one additional table. We decided due to the inflexibility of the servers and hostesses to leave. No one was willing to provide reasonable customer service... Very disappointed!!! read more

We went Texas Roadhouse to have a nice family meal as we have been to others in the past and we're looking forward to having one close. Instead of a nice family experience we had one of the most terrible experiences I can recall in my 52 years! First 2 out of 4 steaks had to be sent back for over cooking and total fat. Then somehow it took 30 minutes to get 2 lime slices. Then the salads were another tables order and had to be sent back and we our salads were brought they had tone sent back again! Then we couldn't get help for awhile because another's tables steaks were being sent back. Then much to our surprise instead of apologizing or something taken off of the bill or even coupons to give another try... the bill was wrong and over charged. After asking if we could get any compensation they said they would talk to the manager. Came back and said this was the best they could do.... surprise surprise the bill was identical! Avoid the restaurant and make a nice family memory instead of bonding over a most terrible experience and uncaring staff and management!!! Most terrible experience ever and total lack of caring at their mistakes! How can you possibly wait 30 minutes for 2 lime slices. I mean how long does it take and how qualified do you have to be to slice limes. But basically they acted like we were picky but if so all those other people sending back steaks were picky too! Avoid don't spend your heard earned money to go out and get bad service, bad food and a bad attitude on top of it all.
