Worst service ever! Waited a long while for our Waitress to come, she never came so we left cash on the table. Hope it was enough! Never received rolls, kept asking but no rolls. Asked the manager and she has an attitude . Will never be back. I think the manager's name was Kim. We actually were giving this place a second chance! The first time we went sat at the bar and was told we could not have more than 2 drinks. It was there policy to cut people off after 2 drinks. As people were coming in to the restaurant, various families or groups were coming in for a table. A youth basketball team entered, the coach was putting their name on the list.... Many other people were inside awaiting for their names / table to be called. An employee named Kaila came from the back and immediately looked at the basketball team and told them they needed to go outside and wait, she did not say this to anyone else just them. After a few minutes and they did not leave, she sent another employee that was male and not white over to tell the basketball group that they needed to wait outside, he did not tell any of the other groups or families they had to leave! The basketball group decided to leave and take their business elsewhere. Then Kaila, looked at our family of 6 and now was telling us we needed to wait outside until our table was called, again not telling that to everyone just the people she perceived needed to be outside. I told her No and pointed out the other families that have been in here before us. She then asked the other families if they had received a text that their table was ready, they said no and she asked them to go outside too. There is absolutely no signage stating that people needed to wait outside and Kaila was very discriminatory in who she shared this supposed Texas Roadhouse rule! read more

So apparently the manager here is an overly conservative manager regarding drinks served. I'm sitting quietly at the bar, had 1 Mich Ultra 16 oz, 2 Margaritas, then 1 glass of Cab with a bone in ribeye and sweet potato. Meal was great, bartenders nice, but I tried to order 1 more glass of Cab and the bartenders started telling me I was essentially cut off because the manager has some overly conservative policy. They said it wasn't chain-wide, and some dude at the bar tried to say it was the wine that triggered it (who knows), but this was extremely weird. Mind you I was traveling alone, almost 60 yrs old, quiet, alone at the bar. Then I noticed the dude next to me spying on this review. Very weird place. Meal was great and bartenders were nice though. Overall just a really weird vibe. I've literally drank and eaten around the US and World and never felt as awkward or judged as this. Don't really know what to say, we had a 30 minute wait and when we got inside they had over 20 tables in several sections not being used. All I could think of was bad management for being a Friday afternoon. I had a Top Sirloin 12oz with Fries and house salad. The meat was cooked to order, but it had a lot of grizzle in it. This was my second visit in two days due to some circumstance. Will was my server/waiter on my other day's visit and today, he happened to see me and remembered of all those guests he must have seen, day in and day out. Will was a VERY GOOD waiter who remembered our orders without jotting down. Tonight's waitress, whose name I cannot remember unfortunately, was so busy that I couldn't get my drink refilled. There was another server named "Bailey" who was EXCELLENT to place our orders correctly when he wasn't the one to take the orders in the place! Overall, we are satisfied as our waitress did try to rectify by deducting the ribs off one of our orders as those ribs were dry and cold and underdone ( our next table over also agreed). First and most importantly, there was a DEAD FLY in my salad that I didn't realize until I was having my last bite. This alone prompted this review, but then my entree was inedible. The onions were barely cooked and still had skin on, the mushrooms were also undercooked, the beef tips were tough and chewy, rice was haphazardly dumped on top instead of underneath, no gravy, no sour cream, and no utensils given. I love TX Roadhouse. I seem to never get tired of it. It was super crowded. We had to wait 30 minutes for seats. When we sat down Christian was our server. We were ready to order so we did everything at once. It didn't take the food too long to get to us. Which was cool. The only thing is we didn't get bread for a while and it took forever to get drinks and refills. So I know now what to expect when they are busy. Hostess was very nice (they all were friendly up front) and accommodating to our request for a table that was near the back and not as crowded. Ambiance and atmosphere was very laid back and everyone was enjoying themselves. We were seated pretty quickly. Our waitress greeted us and took our drink orders. We didn't see her for awhile, we got another waitress to get our drinks. We asked if she could find our waitress so we can order. When she returned she apologized and took our order. There was no wait for our food it came out quickly and cooked perfectly. We never saw her again, there was no refills of our drinks or to check if we needed anything. This place is a joke. I had a party of 3, we arrived at 11:15 on a Sunday morning. There was a short line of 15 people in front of us waiting outside. When the door opened they sat the 15 people in front of us and told us that it would be a 15 minute wait. There is a sitting area inside but you had to wait outside. It was cold and I had a child with me. I uttered a four letter word and left. We went to Spankys, a locally owned restaurant that is one of our favorites and sat right down. This ends it for me eating at chain restaurants. We normally only frequent locally owned businesses but sometimes eat at the chains but I am done, and Texas Roadhouse will never get a penny of my money. Had a date night with my lady. We arrived for an early dinner, the hostess was pleasant and accommodating. Once seated we met Morgan, very nice and very helpful. This Roadhouse location is ALWAYS busy, so I recommend you use the "call-ahead seating" option or you'll wait about an hour once you get there. Service and steaks are always GREAT! The only complaints I have are that the Caesar salads and mashed potatoes are BLAND af. Even with the loaded option in the mashed potatoes, they're still bland. I have been to Tex Roadhouses in several cities and this, by far, was the most disappointing. If not for the good service by my waitress I would give it one star. First, the plating was horrible. It looked as if they fell on the floor, picked up the food and threw it back on the plate. I love their baby back ribs, but this restaurant's ribs were over cooked, dry, and burnt in spots. I couldn't even finish. Yes, they were edible, but not good like I am used to for Texas Roadhouse. I wanted my side of fries loaded. They were burnt and tough and it looked like they threw a little cheese and two big clumps of bacon on as an afterthought. They removed the up charge for the "loaded" option. Had an alright night at the Texas Roadhouse with family and friends. I loved the dance they did when we got there and the atmosphere. Although I was not pleased with the food that I ordered. I got the 6 oz sirloin with shrimp with a caeser salad and a baked potato as my two sides. The salad was great, however, the steak was medium when I asked for medium well and the baked potato and shrimp were very, very salty. FlNALLY, a chain restaurant that defies the odds. Texas roadhouse is a gem in a sea of trash. From the minute our party walked in we were greeted and sat within a few minutes. The young man that escorted us to our seats was friendly and started conversation with me that kept me engaged. The excellent and attentive service continued with our waiter Aaron. The food was terrific with my steak cooked to a perfect medium. I was happy on entry, throughout the meal and the checkout process. My family and I will return. Had dinner on Sunday afternoon. They were already busy, but we were sat within a few minutes. Our server, Zoey, was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great, my husband had the Texas Ribeye with baked potato and mixed vegetables, I had the Prime Rib with the same sides and we both had a side Cesar salad. Both of our steaks were cooked perfectly, the prime rib was outstanding. The potatoes and salad were both good. The mixed vegetables were dry and undercooked, but the rest of the meal and service were so good that it had zero effect on our experience. We will just order one of their many other sides when we return again, and again.......as often as possible. Highly recommend for great food and friendly service.
